Everything's pretty much the same when it comes to the regular story in this AU. It's just the past, especifically Papyrus' past (wich we don't know much about to begin with) that changes

Actually Flowey is one of the main characters in the story! (the main story of this au is divided between the past before the game and a post-pacifist timeline:D)

He and Papyrus will have a fun dynamic

As per usual my activity has dipped off (you can blame capitalism for that)-

But I wanted to let everyone know there are still big projects ahead. For those who have been following a while, the posting structure on the blog is a little loose, mainly centered around all of you guys wonderful/terrifying asks.

And I'm planning on keeping up with all of them! But we are also getting very close to starting the official first few chapters of a more defined comic structure.

The first few chapters will be about all the shenanigans and some undisclosed extra troubles within the pocket void all the gasters reside in.

Have you seen JaruJaruJ's theory "Blood, Souls, and Sans?" It's basically his take on the otherworld Sans theory, and he shares a lot of the same opinions like you, for example Sans and Papyrus not actually being the same brothers from the same universe, and instead each being from a different one. If you have, what is your opinion on it?

yyyeah i did watch it. i think the man should start writing fanfiction, he obviously has a knack for angst. but he's very self referential in his own theories, and the deductions he makes and builds on are... not exactly supported by evidence. or cohesive character analysis. or tone.

#he's very exaggerated in a way that is tonally WAYYY out of focus for deltarune as a story #way too gritty. way too gruesome #way too focused on characters that are likely going to be secondary at best #also he completely lost me at gaster's evil experiment machines being taken as canon and established #brother why is he evil. it's an utdr character #those tendencially uh. aren't #answered asks #no biscia stamp of approval alas

Trying to put the pieces together...

This might be a bit confusing if you haven’t played the game, haha. During the Pacifist ending all the SOULs in the Underground get absorbed in a big flash of white light, which is what’s going on here. Talking with Gaster distracted them from being there during the finale, oops.

The brothers don’t actually remember any previous runs that happened with the kid, they just get that sort of deja vu feeling about determination making them face impossible odds, for good or bad.
