Ok so i honestly tried to write down my idea but got frustrated and then after a while i got bored of it and wanted to move onto other things but i felt it wouldn't be fair to leave you on a cliffhanger so i'll give a short summary of that platonic warden Ingo and player angst thingy.

Ingo finds you in the temple where you and Volo were previously battling, you're unconscious with a bruise on your neck indicating that he was trying to choke you to death. Ingo feels angry and sad at himself that he couldn't save you but then you wake up. Instead of crying tears of joy you quickly crawl out of his grasp towards the arena. Ingo is confused as to why until the snow clears up and he gets a wider view of the bloodied mess Volo's pokemon had left yours in, or at least five of them. Your left clutching onto your (insert pokemon here) for dear life while Ingo carries you down the mountain. Then there is a dialogue about how “the once strong and courageous hero of hisui wass now reduced to a hysterical sobbing mess, clutching one of their team that was a staple of their power not just as a trainer but as a friend” And then there's something about Ingo having this aura surrounding him that makes other pokemon back of, with each step he took was the equivalent to an earthquake (in a metaphorical sense). Your cries of sorrow was a warning, and he was the threat.

and then there's other quotes like

“You remember telling Arceus that if something happened to you that he shouldn't reverse time as long as everyone was safe and you had completed your task. Yet now you wish you had died, because witnessing the death of your team hurt more than any death that's befallen you.”

and

“It was thanks to you that he was alive for that Garchamp wasn't really a wild pokemon, was it”

Here I tried to indicate as to why the sixth member was alive and well because in another timeline Volo had killed Ingo and the players' horrifying realization to this would be when they realized that Garchamp wasn't present while Volo makes a smug comment about it.

I honestly wish I had more willpower to write what I started but I feel out of the creative funk and potent angst, if you want to do something with this then go ahead. Also guess who got to Volo's fight and failed miserably, i hate losing more than anything… kinda

Oohohoho the angst and the drama! I bet it would have been good! Thank you for sharing a little bit of what you had in mind! :D I get not having the juices to finish something. I have a ton of WIPs in my documents that i just,,, never finished haha. I keep them there in case i ever feel like touching them, but for now they are just collecting dust.

20 in Review - Pokémon XY

[Overall Vibes]

KK: XY just isn't clicking with me yet. Like I'm not going to front, I struggle to stay off my phone when it's on. It just does not slap. Maybe it's the group dynamic? Even Ash doesn't seem that invested in his companions.

Spark: This season is visually neat but sorta awkward. I feel some events should be moved around to flow better where the characters are in their stories. I also feel like there hasn't been a lot of actual bonding so Ash feels disconnected from the group. I would like more friendship.

[What’s Happened]

In the first twenty episodes of Pokemon XY, Ash and Pikachu arrive in Kalos ready to challenge the league but have to take it a bit slower than they initially planned. After a wild first day in town involving a Team Rocket mishap with a Garchomp, Ash has caught the attention and admiration of several people, as well as inspiring Serena to start her journey. As Ash joins the Kalos League he is accompanied by Clemont and Bonnie and eventually Serena too. Team Rocket is also around trying to both capture Pikachu and learn about mega evolution.

During these first twenty episodes, Ash has got the region’s water starter, Froakie, has challenged/earned one Gym Badge, and is one the way to challenge his next gym. Meanwhile Serena has started her journey, chosen Fennekin as her starter Pokemon, and achieved insight on her mother. And Clemont has won his gym back from Clembot and befriended a Chespin.

[Things of note in these episodes]

Episode 1: Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin!

Ash arrives in Kalos and attempts to challenge the Lumiose City Gym but is rejected on account of not having four badges

Serena, Clemont and Bonnie are all introduced, though Serena has yet to join the group

Ash and Clemont battle but it’s interrupted by Team Rocket, Froakie who’s been watching, jumps in to help Ash out getting badly injured in the process

Bonus, first appearance of a Mega Evolved Pokemon, Mega Blaziken

Episode 2: Lumiose City Pursuit!

At Professor Sycamore’s lab, Team Rocket’s tech sends Garchamp into a rampage, Ash saving it and then saving Pikachu is broadcasted over Kalos news, he is saved by Mega Blaziken

Ash and Clemont are impressed with each other, Ash with Clemont’s invention, Clemont with Ash’s bravery

Froakie takes and liking to Ash and asks to join his journey

Bonus, Serena recognizes Ash on the news and seems to have made a decision

Episode 3: A Battle Of Aerial Mobility!

Ash registers for the Kalos League

Bonnie and Clemont officially join Ash’s travel party

Ash and Froakie have a heart to heart and catch a Fletching

Bonus, Serena starts her Pokemon journey and make her way to Lumiose City

Episode 4: A Shockingly Cheeky Friendship!

Serena choose Fennekin as her starter Pokemon

While trying to help catch it for Bonnie, Pikachu gets separated from the group with an electric Pokemon Dedenne, they bond and Team Rocket tries to catch them

Clemont and Bonnie catch Dedenne

Bonus, Serena and Fennekin first bonding moment when it protects her from a wild Vespiquen

Episode 5: A Blustery Santalune Gym Battle!

Ash challenges and loses his first Kalos Gym Battle, the Bug type Gym

Serena meets the group, though Ash doesn’t notice her at first

Bonnie asks the Gym Leader, Viola, to take care of her big brother, first time she does this in the series

Episode 6: Battling on Thin Ice!

Serena motivates Ash to get back into practice and he continues training for the Gym

Ash doesn’t remember meeting Serena before

Ash rechallenges the Gym and wins with inspiration from Clemont’s failed invention of the episode

Episode 7: Giving Chase at the Rhyhorn Race!

Ash invites Serena to join the group

Serena returns Ash’s handkerchief, Ash starts to remember her

The group learn that Serena is knowledgeable on Rhyhorn racing and ask her to coach Ash so he can participate in the Rhyhorn race, Serena starts to understand her mom and Rhyhorn on a deeper level

Bonus, the group is introduced to Serena’s mom over video call

Episode 8: Grooming FurFrou!

Serena thinks its cool that people have passions

Serena is curious about Furfrou Salons

Team Rocket tries a Salon Scheme

Ash and Pikachu show off their strong bond

Episode 9: Clemont’s Got A Secret!

Ash and Serena meet Clemont and Bonnie’s dad

Clemont is revealed to be a Gym Leader

The gang breaks into Lumiose City Gym and fix Clembot, a Clemont invention that went out of hand

Bonus, Clemont stands up to his dad, and he and Bonnie get approval to travel with Ash

Episode 10: Mega-Mega Meowth Madness

Serena and Bonnie attempt a knock off of Team Rocket’s motto while trying to rescue Professor Sycamore from Team Rocket but just end up captured as well

Team Rocket tries to Mega evolve Meowth

Clemont bonds with a Chespin who decides to tag along with him

Bonus, Mega Blaziken appearance

Episode 11: The Bamboozling Forest!

Meowth and the main group’s Pokemon get separated from their humans

Jessie catches a Pumpkaboo

Episode 12: To Catch a Pokemon Smuggler!

Serena is shown to have a costume/make up kit

A wild Pokemon evolves noting the first on-screen evolution in this series

Episode 13: Kindergarten Chaos!

Ash sees and battles Sylveon for the first time

First time Serena is jealous of another's girl "interest" in Ash(a teacher lady said if Ash loses to her he has to come with her)

Team Rocket pretend to be magicians to capture Pokemon, but accidentally captures a kid

Bonus, the Kindergarten episode

Episode 14: Seeking Shelter From The Storm!

Team Rocket and the main gang caught up in a storm a look for shelter in a seemingly haunted house

Bonnie bonds with and Espurr but they don’t catch it

It’s a “haunted house” episode but it’s a Psychic type pokemon not a Ghost type

Episode 15: An Appetite For Battle!

Serena’s first night in the woods

Chespin wanders off and Clemont worries it doesn’t like him anymore

It’s revealed Chespin has the ability overgrow

Episode 16: Jolting Switcheroo!

Bonnie’s bag gets switched up with another girl’s and she ends up with a Pichu, having lost Dedenne

Ash cares very much to find the Pichu’s trainer

Episode 17: A Rush of Ninja Wisdom!

Ash and Froakie battle and lose to a ninja that has a Pokemon in Froakie’s evolution line

The ninja and his Pokemon help Ash and Froakie train

Bonnie and Pikacu dressed like ninjas and had fun with the ninja thing

Bonus, the ninja is actually mean to Ash but also he’s weird about it

Episode 18: Awakening The Sleeping Giant!

Snorlax episode, there’s a Snorlax in the middle of town that needs to be woken up but the flute has been taken by and nearby rich girl

When the rich girl takes a liking to Clemont because he scolded her, the group trades Clemont for the Flute

Episode 19: A Conspiracy To Conquer!

The group works with Meowth to save Jessie and James from a mind controlling Pokemon, Malamar

Even though it’s to avoid getting mind controlled, Serena doesn’t want her face scratched

Episode 20: Breaking Titles At The Chateau

Serena explains what the Battle Chateau is, but two nearby brothers(Nico and Chester) introduce Ash and the group by extension to it

Nico has a battle and wins and becomes a “Viscount”, while Ash and Chester have a debut battle where Ash wins becomes a “Baron”

The Rock Gym Leader, Grant, is introduced and battles with Viola

Bonus, Ash wanted to battle Grant but can’t because their ranks don’t line up

XY is a season that has pretty graphics and neat effects. While we haven’t exactly been thrilled to watch it so far, we are excited to see what the hype that people have about it is about as we continue onward to the next twenty episodes.

oh i’ve just had a terrible idea in thinking about how cynthia and the pokemon league officials have been at ends with one another since she became champion, and it’s only in the latter half of the decade - and - then - some that they’ve really stopped trying to knock her down a few notches .

and part of it has to do with an infamous battle she took part in with the former champion attempting to reclaim titles that was televised, but was abruptly cut short, and pulled from every major broadcasting station that attempted to reshow it . even online, it’s hard to find someone who second - hand videotaped it since all official showings of the battle have been met with intense backlash from the sinnoh league .

officially registered sinnoh pokemon league lineup at any given time, which is to be made available for any and all challengers . this includes the official pokemon name and typing as per the regional pokedex, any and all nicknames, a list of moves learned, and a complete history of held items . additionally, the league limits the number of items that may be used in an official pokemon battle, but the items used by both trainers are static and predetermined before a battle .

personal statistics including her registered full name ( cynthia akula ), that of her mother and father ( maya &. luka akula ), her status as sinnoh league champion of twelve years, her place of birth being listed as celestic town, sinnoh region, and her current place of residence also being celestic town when she is not at official lodgings within the sinnoh pokemon league

( provided you are someone who follows her history of publicized battling ) the battle with former sinnohan champion cyril wherein he attempted to reclaim the title, and the resulting death of his ace, weavile, at the hands of one of two garchomps in that battle, and was very quickly taken from public television . ripped recordings can still be found online if you know which threads and websites to look

REGIONALLY KNOWN;

taken a fairly recent interest in the study of mythology, archaeology, history, theology, and typically frequents ruins, libraries and other historical sites within and immediately outside of the sinnoh region

the reasoning behind her and the foremost challenger of sinnoh’s disappearance during the events of the day the sky turned dark being attributed to the galactic group’s raid on spear pillar .

the animosity between she and the sinnoh pokemon league, including the former’s attempts to undermine and / or dethrone her alongside the former champion . this lead to the temporary amendment to the official champion lineup a few years into her championship wherein her only registered pokemon were two garchomps, garnering her the name as garchamp until the accident mentioned above with the former champion’s pokemon, where it was quickly returned to the former lineup

cynthia taking a brief period of time wherein nobody was permitted to challenge the sinnih league as she studied abroad in kalos alongside the region’s champion and professor with the goal of mastering mega evolution .

she is known to be a semi - regular of bars in sunyshore and veilstone, and as people are wont to do, rumors get spread of her having nightly flings &. no strings attached sorts of nights, with a notable lack of preference in partner ( all consensual of course )

PERSONALLY KNOWN; ( the things only people she tells know )

true origin of her and her mother, having immigrated to the sinnoh region from the far - off region of ransei . this includes her real name ( shirona suzuki ) as well as that of her mother ( akira suzuki ), and the fact that her father is only her stepfather, having married her mother after their arrival in sinnoh

the tattoo she received two years into her championship: that of a ranseian ( shining ) rayquaza along the length of her back mirroring that of her mother’s tattoo of ranseian zekrom

the truth of the events at spear pillar and the distortion world, as well as how deeply the events and encounter with giratina effected her

she has taken to publishing research essays on the subjects she’s taken an interest in, with the most notable being theology and history, though the essays have been published under a pen name far removed from her real name
