#just listening to the old soundtrack and man....#rly had something going on there in this game #then we just went nowhere with it huh #and people acting like the story in the 2nd is better like no it's not actually #it's more like they just wanted to make another game but since botw got so popular they just banked on that fact and made it anyway #so it actually wasn't a sequel but just a quiet reboot of it more than anything #and we lost everything good and the new stuff they added was even more barebones #the thing it feels w/ the botw/totk series in general is that #they only write stories for like the first area u need to go to then forgot they had three other areas to write about #I mean I did like what they did with yunobo but it was rly whatever cuz it didn't last long anyways #just *sigh*.....#sprite txt

I PLAYED OMEGA STRIKERS FOR 3 HOURS AND I JUST LOST EVERY SINGLE GAME EXCEPT FOR THE LAST ONE WHERE I DID SO WELL THAT ON THE SECOND SET I WAS ACTUALLY MVP AND GOT BAROQUE BANDITRY TO FUCKING PLAY LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOO

#GOT BOTH OF MY TEAMMATES PROMOTED IN THEIR RANKS THAT GAME #Technically I won 2 other matches but. One was vs ai and the other was a 3v2 so they don't count #Mmmmmmm feels so good...I finally bave a win with Rasmus #I don't think I've ever won w him in comp. Like ever.#For reference I play this game a fucking lot and I literally only played Rasmus today.#But it's okay! I was having fun and training #I'm sure my teammates weren't having fun.#But! I was! And I did so super well that last game!#Also for the record for every set in omega strikers it plays the theme of the person who did best in the previous set #Each game is a best of 3 sets (max 5 sets) so there'a a lot of opportunities for that to happen #It's so really super cool! I love that element of the game #Plus the soundtrack is banger #Mmmmmm but I always do worst on my team...but ohhhhhh I popped off that match #It turns out I struggle a LOT w judging my radius and reaction time. So I do very bad gwbsbdnfk #But! Getting better...#I told myself I was gonna play til I got a legitimate win today...it took 3 hours but I did it!#Hopefully one day I can get more than one win in a day....maybe...#The aiming of the core is also really difficult for me. nintendo saw ppl beating the end bosses in less than 30 mins with basically nothing in botw and went hm nah lets make it ten times harder w many more stages :)

#shut up danni's talking #totk #i think in total there are nine stages total not counting the final run up #it's a SLOG and you can't pause halfway through to restock you gotta power through it all at once #this is w/o doing the sages btw with them its significantly shorter fight bc you bypass five stages and you get help in one stage #anyways man that was a challenge i genuinely thought i was gonna fail on the third last stage until i remembered i had fairies #the gloom would have deffo finished me off if i hadn't - i didn't cook nearly enough sunny stuff but too much of everything else lol #not bad considering i'm only on the second playthrough and i deffo forget abt some totk mechanics now and then #god i love this game sm #the soundtrack is so good too like hnk i cannot wait until it gets posted online #i already listen to the botw soundtrack constantly its gonna be great to listen to the totk one too #so yeah here's your tip if you're gonna fight w/o the sages stock up on sunny foods they're essential

talking to a guy and he’s like “how the fuck do you have all this shit memorized?” my brother in christ i memorized a movie as a kid because i got bored during state tests

#it's not like it was even all that much #''all this shit'' being storylines for different games and some of the story arcs in the world war z book #and like some anime storylines #but i'd finish the state tests early #and i knew it #so for two days leading up to the test i'd just watch whatever movie (it was frozen i was a frozen kid)#and then during the test i'd finish and just stare at the ceiling the remaining time and ''watch'' the movie w soundtrack and backgrounds #and like. even the fucking credits #y'know what add that to the list of ''shit i should probably mention if i ever look into a diagnosis''#did y'all know tiptoeing is apparently a neurodivergent kid thing?#my sister's two sons have autism (her daughter probably has adhd) and she keeps sharing info on autism and it's like huh.#i had a lot of that.#and i have a brother that didn't get diagnosed til his 20s 'cause he started to crash and burn in college #but he was like. completely nonverbal as a kid for years and they were just like ''oh some kids are like that''#like i would repeat EVERYTHING if it like. made my mouth feel good? and that's a type of stimming apparently #because my nephew does the exact same thing where he'll hear a word once on a commercial or something #and repeats it over and over with like. same intonation and everything
