a friend (from another school, you can pick which) is friends with Aone and stops by practice one day and Futakuchi sees her and to everyone's surprise gets tongue tied and really flustered around her? but she doesn't know and they both awkwardly pine and Aone's just *mentally sighs* and gets them together?

Futakuchi Kenji x reader

You weren’t totally sure that this was how you wanted to spend a Saturday, but you did want to see your childhood best friend, so you took the losses as they came. It wasn’t until you were at the school gates that you may have suddenly regretted all your life choices and wanted to run away. But Aone caught glimpse of your school bad and waved you over. You swallowed your fear and walked over.

“Hello, (y/n) I hope you didn’t have prior commitments, than you for coming along.”

“It was only a half day so don’t worry.” you offered.

He showed you the gym door and invited you in. You followed behind and then suddenly the florescent lights were all your saw and all you heard was the squeaking of shoes on the floor. Aone looked around and told you to wait where you were.

Futakuchi saw his friend with a girl he didn’t recognize. He was pretty curious as to who she was and how did Aone become friends with someone from, Aoba Johsai? Now he was more curious than not. He walked up to her and tapped your shoulder, but as soon as you turned around his brain went blank.

Yours did too. When you felt someone tap on your shoulder You had half the mind to shout at whoever it was but you forgot what you were going to say. Aone watched this happen and he sighed inwardly to himself, these two walking disasters were going to be the death of him.

But two you two, neither one of you were aware of the other watching you two. Both of you kept trying to say things but your words were getting tangled in one another. The boy had nothing to say other than various types of symbols and various one-word phrases.

You too were flustered, and not totally sure what to say so you just let him try and talk to you.

“(y/n) come here!” Aone called.

You nodded and nearly ran to him.

(y/n) Futakuchi nodded to himself and filed that away for later use. But for now, practice, he had what felt like a million different drills to fun and he needed to start them soon.

You watched the team as they practiced. Every so often the boy who was talking to earlier would look in your general direction but then quickly look away. You thought it was odd. Aone, once more watched this happen and he figured quickly what was going on.

Once practice was over, you and Aone left together, he agreed to walk you home.

“They guy you’re fawning over, his name is Futakuchi.”

You nearly tripped over your own two feet. Aone waited for you to regain your composure, and then he preceded.

“Yeah, that’s my friend I sometimes complain about.” he replied, “I can help you if you’re interested.”

You were at a loss for words but you didn’t try and deny anything. You kind of just agreed and let him what he may need. You trusted Aone but then again you only did just meet Futakuchi.

Aone invited you to watch a practice a few more times and similar interactions occurred between you and Futakuchi. One time, Futakuchi tripped over nothing and knocked over the volleyball rack where all the extra practice balls were being stored. Aone was suffuring. The whole team knew now about the obvious crush that Futakchi had on you. It was nearly comical for everyone to watch, well besides to you, you had no clue.

On the day that Aone got Futachi to hang around after practice so he could talk to him. Futachi quickly changed at was met by you and Aone in the gym.

“He,y Futakchi are you free say next Sunday at 2?”

Futakchi nodded.

“Say how about you (y/n).” he asked.

You nodded as well.

“Okay good, I’m not, enjoy your date.”

A with that he started walking away. It took you a minute to process what happened before running along, throwing a wave at Futakchi over your shoulder. He waved back, baffled, but impressed. He was excited for Sunday.
