Lol imagine a Dance where Viserys' elder child is a man, marrying a woman who's let's say barren, so he has a paramour because he needs heirs, and he presents the children of his paramour as his legitimate children with his wife's permission. Imagine now Aegon the second son, who, in book and show canon, raped women repeatedly, is a drunk, and generally pitiful by all accounts.

This is older post, but I happened to see it today, and it bothered me: An Azula anti using one of the comics scenes to talk about how Azula was always Machiavellianly manipulating and abusing her friends even in the smallest actions, while (of course!) projecting her own abuser onto Azula. 

Note: Azula was probably somewhere between 5 and 7 in the scene depicted!

I swear, with the amount of vilification, demonization, and mischaracterization Mari, Sunny, and the rest of the main cast go through, this fandom really needs to be put on a leash….

And let’s not forget the proshitters and pedos.

Since the Azula redemption circle jerk is back around again, I'm just going to say this because I'm done being nice about it.

Saying that Zuko has no obligation to help her at all because she wasn't a good sibling to him is beyond stupid. Newsflash, neither was he. They were shit siblings to each other. Only thing is, Azula actually tries to have a relationship with him. He never reciprocates that. Also, in what world are siblings not mean to each other? Saying rude shit to each other is what siblings do. That's how the dynamic works. I promise you that black and white isn't the only way to see things. There is this thing called nuance. It exists for a reason.

Also love how people will say that Zuko is a good person/brother, and yet in that same breath will say that he shouldn't extend that kindness to Azula at all, and shouldn't want to help her get better. Like....do you guys just not see how that contradicts each other? He's her older brother. He has a responsibility to look out for her. I'm sorry if that bothers anyone but that's, again, how the sibling relationship works. The comics already made him look like a shit brother by not visiting her while she was in the asylum for a year, and only going to see her when he needed something from her. Don't make Zuko worse. I said what I said.

Oh, and one last thing. Stop with the fucking ableism and saying that her breakdown is a reason why she can never pick herself back up again. Seriously, stop saying that shit. Fictional character or not, that is a dangerous precedent you are setting by saying that bs. Because guess what? People irl go through the same thing she did. We already have a stigma against mentally ill people. Don't make it worse with your seemingly never ending stupidity.

People demonizing/vilifying/mischaracterizing Mari, Sunny, or any one of the main Omori cast (in canon, AU, or otherwise) is honestly an immediate red flag.

I swear, some people are probably either delusional or doing this on purpose for no reason other than to piss people off.

They're made as either abusive, manipulative, a narcissist, dangerous to each other, or a combination of all of them.

Even some OMARI AUs do this, like the Omoide AU on Twitter….

Look at the Pursuit AU for an example. Hero's literally committing kidnapping and child abduction.

But no, god forbid portraying the characters accurately to the source material.
