Some fandom` s short rant:
I don t watch FTWD anymore since s5 but I keep with news. It is great that Kim Dickens is back, I saw even some clips with Madison and Morgan and it looks really promising, but I don t think that it will save Fear from plot disaster. Really disappointing that Madison and Alicia won` t have reunion. They should at least have a chance to say good bye.
Of course, how I could forget about Nick? So I checked what is up with Frank Dillane. He plays in tv series The Essex Serpent. I watched some interviews and I was in shock: remember that quiet, out of place with eventually short answers young man? Well, he is so different in interviews now: confident, funny, much more well spoken, tuned up with interviewers.

- seeing walker troy was so 😭😭 I'm glad they showed us him tbh bc it's like 100% he is dead and that's that but it still made me sad
- oh I'm so fucking glad tracy isn't alicia's baby like woah troy is kinda a genius for telling madison that what a king!! cancel some of my 8.11 opinions god bless
- alicia showing up was not as dramatic as I was expecting it to be but I'm so glad she's alive!!
- dwight and sherry going back to the sanctuary is cool. them being in the area makes me think we might see them again at some point
- changing it to madre is so funny
- daniel and skidmark reuniting... obsessed with them
- madison alicia and tracy going off together was nice, I like that ending for them idk
- the rest was fine idk I really don't have many thoughts on the endings for everyone else like bye
- last night I was clowning about spin-offs but now troy is dead idrgaf lol
also I don't think alycia is dying to do more twdu stuff so a madision alicia and tracy spin-off feels unlikely. and idc about anyone else
- I'm sad this show is over but I WILL be rewatching at some point, especially the golden years (aka s1-3 and every 8b troy scene)

What do you think of all the new troy content we've got so far? Any theories (or worriee) about what he's up to?
Oh nonny! (I wish you could hear my tone haha it's somewhere between desperation and resignation)
So, I was actually happy about the second trailer. It looked good. However, it gave me nothing in terms of what I think will be going on - maybe also because my knowledge of FTWD is restricted to s1 and s3… so that's my own fault. And I've gotta be honest, maybe I just liked this trailer because it gave us more Troy in different scenes haha (I'm a simple woman after all).
I still worry, of course, that Troy's story is a boring revenge thing - him going "you took everything from me" in one of the trailers did not inspire confidence…. And even though I'm all here for more Troy-being-obsessed-with-Madison content - I somehow feel like the revenge arc would cheapen their relationship. Or like… turn it shallow I guess is the word.
So I think I have to disappoint you on all fronts here (even though I took my time to answer this ask, in the hopes I could have something more to say); I have no theories about what Troy is up to (well except that I'm pretty sure it's about some kind of revenge) and I additionally have no worries that directly pertain to Troy. It's more that I worry about how much sense the whole arc will make (the worst thing, I guess, would be, if he just dies again). But that's not Troy's fault.
Still wishing us all of course that we'll get a satisfying second half of season 8! We've waited long enough for Troy to come back after all.

do you have a fic of yours that you really loved but didn’t get a lot of hits? like your most underrated fic based on your personal connection to it
I NEVER THOUGHT WE'D END UP HERE aka the alternate s1 fic. I didn't even have to think about this question. I love that fic. I'm proud of it. A lot of work went into it. It's not super Leatin-centric so I get it, but I loved writing all the different POVs and seeing how things could be different and/or the same.
the weight of a heart that's breaking is also a fic I really like, but I get that the angst/no endgame thing isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I needed to write that fic for myself.
There are actually a few fics I really love that I wrote for FTWD, but I don't have to go into that lol

I started watching Fear the Walking Dead in attempt to fill the void while waiting for the main show to catch up on Netflix.
I didn’t have a clue what to expect but I have to say the first few episodes have honestly been surprisingly triggering? (I don’t really like this word) for me.
I really relate to, and feel for, Nick. I see a lot of my former self in him and how he acts/the things he does and says.
It’s drudged up some unsavory feelings and memories and it’s crazy after almost 10 years I can still…feel those things relating to that world.
Idk, I just really wanted to give him a hug lol
I obviously don’t know where this is going to go but I hope he gets past his own personal hell -while in hell- and becomes a thriving badass!

shoutout to me for choosing to get into ftwd at the perfect time btw like I literally watched s1-4 for the first time in april this year like... troy was dead for a month or so for me and then I started seeing pretty solid rumours that he was actually alive.. I kinda won
