A pretty high White guy makes a quiche
First bake an empty frozen pie shell.
Marie Calendar makes a pretty darn good pie crust and unless you are my great aunt Ethel, you probably can't do better.
2. Put onions, peppers, sausage, and bacon into the food processor
3. Stir fry
4. 12 eggs from my chickens and I'm feeling lazy
5. I prefer Tabasco, but happy wife, happy life.
6. Realize that wife also only like bacon if it's crunchy. And I put everything together like it was a chicken stirfy or something. Everything is cooked, but the bacon is still all floppy.
7. So a few minutes later and everything is on the crunchy side
8. Mix up the eggs
9. Pour eggs into filling
10. Soft scramble
11. Pour into pie shell
12. Cheese it up
13. 350F for 15 minutes or till cheese is melted.
It was delicious and the family scarfed it down.
I really do cook quiche like this. It makes a quiche fast and easy if you are using leftover bacon or sausage. Normally I cook the bacon, then any other meats, and finally add the veggies. But I was high and tried to be clever 🤣

Egg stirfry is literally the most versatile, quick and simple meal to make👏🏻 When I get home after a long day I’m always staaaaarving - so then I just want to whip up something quick and easy to eat, that is still nutritious!
You can add whatever vegetables you have on hand, and your own favourite spices! There is no rules when it comes to this dish, so just use your imagination😋
What is your go-to meal whenever you want a quick fix?
Egg stirfy:
40g couscous
2 dl veggie or chicken broth
½ onion, chopped
½ red bell pepper, chopped
1 kale leaf, chopped
6 cherrie tomatoes, halved
2 eggs
¼ tsp sciracha
Salt and pepper
Avocado
Cottage cheese
Fry the onion in some oil in a pot. Boil broth and pour over the coscous in the same pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and stirr untill the vegetables are getting softer. Then add the two eggs and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
Serve with cheese and avocado, and maybe some more hot souce😛
Enjoy!

Dragon Fried Rice
Recipe by Nigel Stanislaus
Executing an authentic fried rice is imperative to every Asian kitchen. Legend has it that daughter-in-laws were disowned because they couldn’t do it right.
Every family loves a version of this dish and I’ll tell you the secret: It’s in the dry texture of a day old jasmine rice and there needs to be a ‘burnt’ smell the Chinese describe as wok-hei. The rest is what you put in it and the fiery dance of umami that creates the perfect fried rice.
Now, to start you need good quality cookware, for this I used the RACO Minerale 32cm Open Stirfry with Helper Handle that is designed and created in Italy. Goodness I was pretty impressed with how much little oil I needed and how the stirfry heats up so evenly that I only had it on medium heat the whole time. A big contrast to high heat Chinese cooking.
Ingredients:
1.5 cups of overnight rice
1 x chopped medium onion
1 x tbsp chopped garlic
1 x chopped medium carrot
1 cup of chopped mushrooms
2 tsp of white pepper
1 tbsp of rice bran oil
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1 tsp white pepper
Omelette:
4 x eggs, whisked
Dash of pepper
Dash of sesame oil.
Toppings:
6 x large cooked tiger prawns, shelled and halved
1 x tbsp of wild salmon caviar (if you are feeling fancy!)
Method:
Fluff rice and set aside.
Heat stirfry on high heat for 2 mins then reduce medium heat and add oil.
Add onion and garlic, sauté for two mins then add the rest of the vegetables and fry for 3 mins.
Push the cooked vegetables to the north of the wok and gently pour the omelette solution in the south side of the pan and turn the fire down to low while stirring the egg.
Once the eggs are 80% cooked, turn up the heat to medium and stir in the rice and give a good stir, add all seasoning. Mix well.
Finally for the wok-hei ‘charred’ smell, leave the wok on low heat and let sit for 3-5 mins to let the rice caramelise.
In a rice bowl, place the prawns in and fill it compact with rice.
Tip it onto a plate and spoon the caviar to finish off.
Serve immediately.
For best results, use the RACO Minerale Stirfy.
