I’m not sure if I posted this before or was it another 4K HD dream of mine but here is a AmeGer Detective AU:

Ludwig is invited to a corporate party by Toris, and Toris likes him very much so he introduces Ludwig to a lot of people. Alfred is one of them. What is interesting about Alfred is that he is loved by everyone, even though he is younger than the others, he is far from being immature . He is easygoing and he amuses people around him. He gets lots of attention. He “shines” But something about him disturbs Ludwig.

When everyone is tipsy and at the pinnacle of happiness , the murder happens.

Ludwig : if I had to guess Alfred is the murderer.

Toris : what? No way!

Ludwig : I disregard everything you say because you have a crush on him.

Toris (blushing) : how do you even—

Roderich (loosening his tie, scoffing) : The party was horrifying! I have never attended such a disastrous party before!

Ludwig : yeah not many parties has a murder in it. I saw you can’t even cut a fruit, I think you can’t stab someone. You are very rich and annoying. And you are not the murderer.

Ludwig : yes.

Alfred : Do you have a wife? A girlfriend perhaps? You should take her here.

Ludwig: No, I don’t have neither.

Alfred : I guessed it. (Smiling)

Alfred : aww, do you think I’m pretty?

Ludwig : That —

Alfred : I think you are the one being pretty. I mean look at you, your ironed black and blue suit. Your tie. Its the same one you wore during the party. I remember. You like attention to details, right?

Ludwig: yes.

Alfred : like a good boy. Will you solve the mystery?

Ludwig : what did you call me? Also its not a ‘mystery’, a man has been killed.

Alfred: was he your type?

Ludwig : what?

Alfred : would you..?

Ludwig: I don’t understand what you mean.

Alfred : No you wouldn’t, because you like to get fucked, not the other way around.

Ludwig (gaping) : Fuck you, you hot piece of shit if only you weren’t good lucking. (Cleans his mouth with a napkin) I should— (Alfred pulls him and kisses him. They make out) I must go.

They are all covering for him!

Alfred: Congratulations, Mr Detective. I knew you would do it. (Smiles as he gets handcuffed)

Ludwig : fuck, you are still so hot.

Alfred: I wish I could fuck you :(

Sorry this is literally evil but in my head there’s an alternate, less fluffy version of my vampire Francis au where it gets dark as hell instead…. In the normal fruk-centric au Francis and Arthur settle down together and have a fluffy and goofy vampire/human dynamic where their exchange is basically just feeding each other hsndhshdjdn… but in THIS version of the au…. I was thinking more along the lines…. Arthur being the supernatural nut he is wanting Francis to drink directly from him instead of just extracting his blood with a syringe as they normally would… Francis warns him it’s dangerous but Arthur insists on it because it’s interesting for his research (but actually it’s mostly because it’s erotic) - however a freak accident takes place during one of these sessions, resulting in Arthur dying from blood loss. Francis freaks the hell out and runs, as far away as he possibly can, completely blaming himself and goes into hiding. Months down the line, an infuriated, vengeful and grieving Alistair Kirkland, has been rapidly improving his vigilante detective skills and is desperate to track down and kill whoever the hell murdered his baby brother. After months of tireless work, drawing evidence from Arthur’s apartment and all the extensive research on vampires he left behind, Alistair is able to locate Francis and……. Can’t bring himself to kill him. He beats the shit out of him, fully intending to go through with it, but as he raises a silver dagger over a very weak and frail Francis, images of the text messages that had been found on Arthur’s phone flash through his mind. Arthur loved this man that Alistair was about to kill. He could tell by the way his brother had wrote. He wouldn’t write like that for anyone else. Francis, terrified, watches this stranger put down the blade. He doesn’t know this strangers name, but he can see who he’s related to - same face - and Francis knows why he’s here. How will this end?! Is it the start of an unlikely friendship?!

Sorry for taking so long to reply! I meant to do it yesterday but I just got too distracted to get back to you.

Police/Officer AU: Riot which was written for a PrUK week event; there’s also Detection which has a magical twist for Francis and Arthur; apparently this one, Take Responsibility!, has Al as a police officer; and Jones is based on Castle so Arthur’s the police detective but... close enough. Oh! That’s the Truth has the appearance of detectives but they’re not featured in the story for long...

Magical Strike: For the Company is an Omegaverse version where Alfred’s an Omega with attitude. :D

Body Switch: Treasure is a FrUK one.

And I haven’t actually done an accidental mind reading AU - but I’d probably make it funny or angsty. Like, they hear only part of what the person was thinking and think they don’t like them. Or they’d just hear nonsense. But the mind reading would so not help them. :D
