Forever wondering why crested geckos dont grow their tails back after they drop them. Like every other gecko understood the assignment, drop, wriggle, regrow. But nooo crested geckos were like, you have a disposable appendage that you can use to distract predators

Since Pâté is a little frog butt I can’t use my usual method for locating my gecko which is to look for the tail they forgot they had and left sticking out of their hiding place

Who can resist a little Patient Zero!?  Finally got a test paint done on my Crested Gecko base (also have a tailed version). I chose to give Patient Zero, the ‘piebald’ crestie a shot. Cresties, like many if not all geckos, can drop (lose) their tail, but unlike many it doesn't grow back. A tailless gecko is called a frog butt!
