Lyon Pride Flag! based on the colors of OnlyOneOf undergrOund idOl 'be' series

Hey lyOnblr! @redeim and I have a question for you!

We got a Gilbert Baker flag (original 8 stripe flag) to bring to the SF stop of the tour for OnlyOneOf. We were thinking of decorating it and adding meanings plus corresponding albums and then maybe seeing if we could get it signed by as many lyOns as we could manage at the concert before sending it on stage at the end if we're able to do that again.

This is a draft of what we were thinking of doing, it would obviously be a little less crowded on a real flag. Do people like it? Do you have any feedback? If you'll be at SF would you want to sign it?

The boundless energy that the tiny pigeon had seemed to exhibit earlier in the evening is bound to run out at some point, and it seems that point is now. Instead of his usual perched position, Cranberry had sat himself completely down upon Andrei's shoulder, legs tucked and head half-burrowed into his wing with just one sleepy eye uncovered to regard his surroundings.

"Here," Andrei says, reaching out a hand towards him to lift him down, but the bird only gives a soft squeal, turning his head away and burrowing tighter against his human's neck. Andrei could feel the gentle, subtle rise and fall of Cranberry's chest, his beak poking into him, though not hard enough to be painful, and his lips quirk indulgently. "Don't fall off, now," he says softly.

He waits until he's reasonably certain the little one had fallen sound asleep before picking him up and depositing him safely into a pocket, where he could remain warm on the trip back to the Abyss. It's about time for the ball to wind down, anyway.

When Cranberry next opens his eyes, Andrei is already awake, sitting on the edge of his bed. At the sound of his first, sleepy squeal, he reaches out a finger to stroke at the small, feathered head. "I've something for you," he says.

Andrei catches the exact moment the pigeon perks up when he removes the chain of crystals from under his pillow, how his eyes, even in the dim light of the Abyss, seem to sparkle just as brightly as it had under the brilliance of the chandelier in the previous night.

He hands the gift over, and Cranberry's beak immediately closes around the end of the chain, a series of muffled but delighted squeals accompanying the soft clatter of the crystals against one another as he tugs it along the wood of the bedside table.

(Not for the first, second, or even tenth time, Andrei extends a silent apology to the others in the dormitory.)

Still, he can't help but smile as he watches Cranberry play with his newly beloved toy. How easy it is to satisfy him, to retain a little reminder of that magical evening in the heart of such a small bird. Andrei turns away to prepare for the day ahead.

Perhaps he could allow a little piece of the magic to remain within him, as well.

My boyfriend and I were chatting about BG3 last night and we agreed on the least realistic interpersonal aspect in the game so far: your companions are WAY too functional specifically when it comes to respecting the romantic boundaries of others and are WAY too nice if Tav chooses someone over them. I was in between Shadowheart and Astarion, and ended up doing certain quests in one order and, realizing I didn't like that order for side-quest reasons, loaded an old save to reverse them. In the first order, the dialogue to solidify Shadowheart's romance came up first, in the second Astarion's came up first. If you agree to the romance and talk to the other in both instances, they are supportive of you (to varying extents) and, if you ask why you can't court both of them, they site the emotional experience/tolerance of the other as why Tav shouldn't do it and why they're not interested in getting involved regardless of they're own feelings.

Lyon trying to trick Priam into becoming one of Fomortiis' servants, only to give up once he realizes Priam has too much experience and knows that any offer of easy power always comes with a terrible cost, deciding to go look for someone more guillible>>>Lyon being a perfect guy with no flaws and whose main trait is simping for the Renais twins; never thought i'd have to praise the Awakening Spotpass nostalgia-bait chapters of all things, but Heroes certainly has a way of setting bars unbelievably low.

For some characters, the FE13 spotpass/DLC stuff has better characterisation than FEH!

Or...

FEH wants to sell alts, when FE13 wanted to sell "nostalgia" (that's totes why i bought all those packs back then lol), so FE13 could be close to the source material than FEH who wants you to feel bad for Lyon and his tragedy, thus buy alts where he's happy or lives his dream of being a "friend" to the twins.

IDK if FE13 Lyon was Lyon or already Fomortiis or whatever, but it's indeed more interesting to have him be the one who wants power at all costs - even if he had nice intentions (save the world, become the twins's friend) - and destroys everything he once hold dear (the twins, Grado, the world).

As my favourite FEH character says :

Lyon: “Thank you, Eirika. You were always…so kind. The Demon King will claim my flesh as a vessel for his resurrection. Before that can happen…I want you to kill me. I’m sorry, Eirika. I’m already-“ Evil Lyon: “Oh, please…Are you done turning your failings into some sad epic of personal tragedy… It’s time we started then. I have a ritual to complete…and some nuisances to kill.”

As long as they can make money, Heroes will continue to uwufy characters, regardless of canon (see Reinhardt).

But I stand with Fomortiis here, Canon!Lyon's failings led to his resurrection, it's not an epic tragedy, it's, at its core, the story of someone who wanted to rely on "cheap" power to gain everything he desired, and who was arrogant enough to believe he could count on and master said "cheap" power.

(cheap as in an easy way to get power)

gonna be real i think everyone is clueless 😭 it doesnt even look like the ooogies know what theyre doing aLSJFLEJR my best guesses are kyubin (top left) is a dog, rie (top right) is a ???????? his is the most perplexing.. i could see shark but whatever that other hand is trying to accomplish is a mystery. yoojung and junji (middle) r cats and/or lions (lyons). mill in the bottom left.. potentially a bunny/rabbit that is a little…whimsically interpreted ^_^? i dunno. What animal has ears like that😭 and nine.. my first thought was fish but then he did that weird like. Animal Cry so maybe a bird ? of some kind??? a duck maybe ?? we need to get sherlock (clue + note) on this
