One Dress a Day Challenge
February: Coeli's Monochrome Picks
It's a Wonderful World / Costume for Frances Drake as Vivian Tarbel
Another gown by Adrian. I haven't seen the movie--not to be confused with It's a Wonderful Life, although they both star Jimmy Stewart--but the veil suggests it's a wedding dress.
It's always interesting to me to see when costumes for black-and-white movies are colorful (as with The Bride Wore Red) and when they're pretty similar to the monochrome version as seen onscreen.

This is one of my favorite horror movies - it is really, really sick. Peter Lorre plays a lovesick doctor who is obsessed with Frances Drake. When he obtains a life-sized wax figure of her, it is implied that he dresses and undressed the dummy and most likely does other stuff. And that’s far from the most deranged thing!
