Elves - despite the obvious, the skunks are quite elegant

Orcs - kinda self-explanatory, has some similarities with elves, strong and scary (believe me, you don’t want to fight a badger), also elegant! (*pulls out a knife* give me dapper orcs now)

Goblins - do I really need to explain this one?

Kobolds - now, I see that often kobolds are portrayed as dragonic but in German sometimes “kobold” simply means “goblins” (tho they’re not the same thing), so in my world they’re related. Kobs are smaller, have bigger ears and co-live with other species (btw in my world gobs are human sized)

Gnomes - both are friendshaped :)

Avisfelis - what’s that? My very original species™. On more serious note, they’re literally khajiit but made by a teen during the “I’m not a furry I swear” phase (anime cat people on steroids and coke). Not going to throw all the lore here but basically, they’re a cross between elves and cosmic fair folk. They possess wings and can transform into a bird

All fae are catlike (yes, they have tails, except elves. Once puberty starts they lose the tail, kinda like frogs do) in my world so assigning them forbidden cats was fun
