my thoughts on the new HYUNA song drop and the various scenes in the song
1. Mizi rebels (no surprise), but interestingly, is being kissed multiple times by Hyuna to kind of drag her out of her discomfort/thoughts, some type of new ship or platonic relations??? (i’m not sure, but if that’s the case, im open to it, seems like an another great arc and more character development in one way or another)
2. Mizi’s hair was cut off, leaving behind past memories (that’s great! (she looks hot, im not complaining) question is, does this also mean she has moved past from her grievance for Sua?) (does this mean that possible romantic indication with Hyuna? if so, im happy for her for moving on, im sure Sua would too tbh…)
3. Hyuna has like defo a some sort of love hate relations with Luka, cuz he literally killed her brother (HE IS INSANE) (i officially dub him as like some scheming yandere with like manipulative tendencies, cuz she payed attention to him once and he goes like “give me more” anddddd she doesn’t cuz she needs to care for her sibling and he gets jealous and just starts a fight and so happens to “accidentally” push him or something and he’s dead. bro casually looks up to Hyuna and says “woops, i didn’t mean to” and from there on, she just feels absolutely rage and just thinks he’s insanely brainwashed in some way)
4. Hyuna’s group is bonkers and they all just flirt for fun (head canon she’s actually bi/les) anddddd she saved mizi cuz she saw her and was like “omg, my possible partner fr? i’ll give her everything (refer to the scene where Mizi and Hyuna fought like the alien bots or smth and like was infiltrating what i think was probs a base of some sort + like little hugs and kisses (those were so cute)), fuck you luka”
5. Ivan and Till is expect to fight in the next round… and slight foreshadowing, someone hits till’s face, does this possibly mean that he is eliminated in the next round????
6. (continuing from point 5!) but Ivan is said to have feelings for Till, so another possibility is that they try and do a duet, like what Sua and Mizi did. (will they be successful or end up the same fate as the both of them? tragic, but it may happen)
7. another scenario is the Ivan ends up the winner, and Hyuna and her gang comes and pull Till out from the situation (aka just like Luka and Mizi round), then it would be like crazy for Till to handle since Mizi would be there. (or alternatively, Mizi tries to convince Hyuna to save Till cuz Till is her friend (LMAO friend zone fr), and it worked, in which same shit goes down.) (but question is, if this case happens, will Ivan try and report the case and find Till? meaning which, he rebels more (ANOTHER REBEL IVAN ARC (just a teeny bit) ?) and eventually sneaks out to search for Till (his beloved lmao). )
8. but a possible scenario too in that round could be that Till gives up on singing and Ivan punches the absolute shit out of him to force him to sing (or vice versa cuz Till is mad that Ivan is just pitying him or that he’s just giving up so easily just so he can live)
9. OR ANOTHER SCENARIO (there’s so many im sorry😞) is that like Till don’t care (just like when he did in the round with some side character 😭😭), and then screws over Ivan, Ivan just goes like “i wish you the best my liege” and then explodes and Till just either “idc” or “what the fuck have i done”
10. WHAT IF TILL HAS LIKE LINGERING FEELINGS??? (i lowkey headcanon him as like bi but he has this one case of internalised homophobia, refer to like the cover they made with like ‘MY CLEMATIS’ ) cuz like Ivan tried saving him yk, so what if, like he comes to regret that afterwards (head canon, when he’s stressed he feels extremely nauseous to the point he puked like multiple times and got beat up for being like high maintenance, which would explain more about why he’s so feral dog angry at the aliens all the time) (and also cuz like they did like a lot of fucked up shit, any sane human would grow to hate them tbh, so it’s valid, but i like to think that it gives him more reason to want to rebel them even more out of more spite and just plain hatred for what they have done to like the contestants and Mizi (especially her))
11. also back to the topic of luka…. (i hate this man, but his song is so good 😠😠😠), will like he come and find Hyuna? like lowkey Luka and Hyuna interaction fr??? (probs like confrontation in a sense, and then one of them like goes feral or something cuz obvs someone is OBSESSED with like Hyuna 😞😞😞)
ALSO, referring back to point 5, Till gets eliminated and yk the whole “win or die” process, and Ivan just turns into the next Mizi (vengeance or smth) or he just mourns, and refuses to do anything more (REBEL ARC maybe)
another thing i would like to add on from point 3 is that i imagine the three of them just discussing ways to possibly get out of this situation alive, and just was blissfully happy for like awhile cuz they’re all together in this and up till the day Luka (the insane bastard) killed her brother, she actually admired him for like his skills (in terms of able to perform and stuff)
I MAY BE WRONG (but it’s my thoughts and i would like my fellow alien stage enjoyers to give me their insight too, cuz rn i’m just ranting about my little expectations 😞😞)

- uhhh probably waiting game although I’ve never had that exact situation, a lot of it or at least the feelings are similar to my relationship with my ex

- I do not, which I’m grateful for. I really think if you don’t like what you’ve read then it’s best to just leave it be.

- I do not. As of right now, I have a smut chapter in the works but I don’t think I’ll write smit after. I find it quite hard tbh… if I were to write smut it would be exclusively wlw

- I do not, I feel like they’re hard to do in a believable manner without it being out of character for the universes and or characters. But they can be done well :)

- I have, it was a lady d fic but it never got past the first draft. I believe the person I was co-writing with started boot camp and we just became busy n the project tailed off into nothing sadly

- it’s a rarepair, from the bleach anime/manga, it’s unohana and isane. Two of my favourite characters :)
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
- when I was 18 I started a fic where Alcina was essentially a vampire. And her lover was human, and was agaisnt being turned. It was an age old argument between the two, with Alcina wanting to be with her lover for eternity and lover being unable to relinquish their human-ness. But hunters get into the castle, fuck shit up n lover is bleeding out. And in the heat of the moment Alcina turns lover who was dying. And it’s was to be angsty with reader struggling with the heightened senses. Needing to drink blood but mentally not able to, and just suffering really. And the whole issue of not wanting to die cause Alcina would be sad but reader also doesn’t want to be a vampire and yeah. Never bothered finishing it and probs will never :)
16. What are your writing strengths?
- I think describing settings, setting the scene? I’m not sure tbh, maybe dialogue pacing???
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
- defo writing multi dimensional emotional reactions and the nuances of feelings. And characterisation, I struggle to think of a wider range of emotions and I think that shows in my writing. I think I make characters quite 2 dimensional oops
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
- I’m no language expert, so if I need to use a different language for dialogue I do run to google translate.

hi, do you have any tips on cutting words down in chapters. I tend to go way overboard but I really struggle with cutting scenes because I feel like the scene doesn't flow properly without what I've already written
hello anon !!
i'm definitely no expert, but my main advice is really just to edit edit edit. i spend a long time editing, and it takes me longer to edit than it does to write. if you feel like you’re cutting out so much that it doesn’t make sense, try to work on a micro level, trimming down words. plucking leaves off the tree instead of branches! quite often, i'll spend an hour just working on a single paragraph, adjusting the words and phrasing until i feel like i've gotten as much out it as possible. my first drafts are always full of words like 'that' and 'really' and 'almost', and they're usually the first to go. i also look out for sentences where i'm just repeating myself (this happens a lot). tied to this: show don't tell! these kinds of writing rules aren't law and defo don't Always apply, but i do find them helpful to keep in mind as i'm editing. i quite often will find moments in my writing where i've 'told' something (ie: remus is kind), and then have immediately followed it up with by 'showing' (ie: an example of remus being kind), so i try to cut out the 'telling' as much as possible.
if you’re finding a scene boring to write, change it! up the stakes, add conflict (even at a micro level), even write a way around it if you can! sometimes i get stuck in the mindset of trying to include every little thing… but you don’t need to! if you don’t like it, change it. kill it. eat it
i love stripping back dialogue. in the first draft, i’ll just write the characters saying exactly what they mean, and then as i edit, i’ll try to adjust the words until that meaning has been pushed back to the subtext (esp in emotional scenes). usually this means that conversations end up shorter! less words are spoken! but i do think they're more effective for it. (sidenote: i would really love to go back and apply some of this advice to wiwhw, because i feel like a lot of the dialogue is v on the nose lmao.. but! i'm learning as i go x)
i also try to remind myself that simplicity isn't a bad thing. it’s actually a v good thing! not every sentence needs to be complex or elaborate. i find it helpful to keep in mind that ultimately i'm trying to communicate with the reader. i’m trying to tell a story! so i aim 2 strip back anything that inhibits that
you know what they say: kill ur darlings <3 for each fic i have a lovely little graveyard where i dump sentences and scenes. they are my darlings;;;; i treasure them and i never like seeing them go. but i also never put them back in after i've taken them out, so as much as it hurts, it works </3
lastly, re: flow! before the final edit, i like to leave the chapter for a few days without looking at it so i can come back to it with fresh (ish) eyes. this part usually reveals awkward phrasing, which i often miss when i'm in the thick of editing because i got used to it !! (i also have a tendency to be wordy;;;; giving myself a bit of space helps me see areas where i can use a few words instead of many !)
i hope this helps xxxx again, i'm no expert and everyone has their own ways of doing things, but these are some tips i find helpful! MWAH happy writing <3333

i just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your writing!!
the past month has been really really rough for me and the only thing thats gotten me through is reading your work.... i ummm might actually have read through every single work you have on ao3 😅 the way you write is just incredible, i love the personal touch added to everything you write.
its funny because i think you truly excel at writing novels with detailed lore and backstories but my favourites are the cute domestic ones where theyre just neighbours or roommates or whatever. the way you write apartment living is so obviously drawn for your own real perspective in the best way possible and feels so real that i couldnt help but constantly agree with everything you were saying.
your dialog is so natural and fluid i often forget im reading tbh and you never write perfect people, theyre always realistic and fucked up and flawed and amazing. i always believe the world you write around them, and i constantly found myself at the edge of my seat at 5am desperate to know how the fuck they would fix everything.
i appreciate that you take the time to add the trigger warnings in the notes of each chapter, i always felt like i was prepared for what was ahead, or if something was too heavy before going in so i could walk away or go to sleep until i was slightly more ready.
i have maybe accidentally left a few essays in the comments of some of your fics already but i just wanted to let you know at the end of my journey (for now until you write more because frankly im obsessed and will probs go reread something after this just to fill the void) how much your writing has meant to me <3 thank you so much i cant imagine the amount of time, effort and love goes into writing so many full-length novels for free in such a short time span <3

I think I just purged school from memory because it was awful HAHA)

I find sometimes something needs to be warned about without being a legit tag, so the end note warnings are the easiest way I found to do that, especially in situations where it’s a spoiler. That way people can read safely without worrying about being triggered because I’m defo not about that |D

I’ll start with Cytharat since I definitely have more headcanons for him than Loyat atm!
Based on him mentioning being Malgus’ apprentice and a very newly-appointed Lord, and also being way Pinker than the obviously-older Pureblood NPCs/the PC Pureblood skintone options, I’m assuming Cytharat is pretty Young for a Pureblood, so I figured him around about Ty’s age, maybe 10 years (~2 human years max age difference) younger if that
Vano and Kas are kind of working in tandem by the time the Makeb storyline comes around so they attend to the Makeb questline(s) together.
Kas had one conversation with Cytharat and immediately went “Yep This Is My Apprentice Now If Malgus Wants Him Back He Can Come Fucking Fight Me” (Malgus was never brave and/or stupid enough to come fight her XD). Since they’re working together, Kas and Vano manage to split up so Vano saves Catha Niar and Kas manages to save Cytharat. Afterwards she offers him a spot on her crew and since its obvious to him that even if she might be A Little Weird, Kas obviously Cares unlike most of the other Sith so he accepts and ends up becoming part of Kas’s crew.
While he’s hesitant at first about the idea of teaming up with Jedi/Republic personnel, he trusts Kas by that point so when she says they’re going with Lana and Marr to Yavin IV to help deal with the Revanites Cytharat just accepts it. When Kas is reunited with Rai after arriving there, Cytharat meets Ty and maybe (Definitely) gets a crush. They’re only together for a little while before the whole temporary alliance dissolves again and when Rai (and by extension Ty) refuses to go back to the Empire with them they part ways for a time
Cytharat misses Ty a lot more than he was expecting to and Kas Notices (™). She casually mentions that she has Ty’s holofrequency if he wants it and deliberately leaves said frequency where she Knows he can find it. Cytharat sneaks a few message/letters through and keeps chatting with him until Arcann and the Eternal Empire give them more pressing concerns at which point they lose contact again until one day Lana rocks up to Kas’s office with Rai and Ty in tow.
Ty gets left with Kas and co. while Rai goes with Lana and Koth to Zakuul and the poor kid is a Nervous Wreck about it so Cytharat has to help Kas calm him down because they’re the only two people he Trusts. Kas then pulls a classic old “oh Cytharat do you think you could help us with this star chart, oh wait a second is that Ashara and Khem calling me? You and Ty can handle looking through this one by yourselves right? I’ll check on you later byeeee~” and at some point during their moving everything over to Odessen he ~finally~ asks Ty out.
So of course Cytharat stays on with the Alliance afterwards. I’m not 100% sure if they’ll ever get married yet (haven’t gotten that far with their relationship planning yet but they’re defo solid as an item :’3) but Cytharat is absolutely okay with being the muscle of the relationship while his bf hides behind him when things get scary (which is, unfortunately, very often. Poor Ty XD)
And Loyat!! (who I do not have any screenshots of rn since none of my current pub toons are as far as Ilum (anymore, I yeeted a few of them when I stopped vibing with them oopsie)
I have less solid plants for Loyat but I do love her and I am definitely kidnapping her she’s mine now Bioware /hj
Loyat and Aria are definitely buddies. Probably even drinking buddies, much to the abject horror of anyone who happens to cross paths with them when they’re out drinking XD
They absolutely would meet during the Ilum war/storyline. Though it’s not until after (the Assault on Tython FP) that Aria’s officially outed as a Sith plant, Loyat can probably Sense It so she agrees to go with Aria to the Jedi if only knowing that Aria probably has an Out Again if she’s managed to be in deep cover this long and not get caught.
It’s a minor wrench in the plan when Aria tries to fuckin fight Satele and gets arrested, but I’m kiiind of feeling like Loyat might go with her to Manaan. Especially since with Zenith and most of the other Consular crew lickity splitting when they realise Aria Was Sith The Whole Time. Ya girl’s gonna need some crewmates/friends, so why not Loyat? ;3 by the same vein, probably goes with Aria to the Alliance and ends up working under Kas’s Force Enclave sector, but where specifically I have yet to decide owo
I definitely want to expand on Loyat more, but for now sadly that’s all I got for Loyat! 😅😅

It’s not even her that’s getting at me. It’s seeing what he did. This time last year I went to see him during my lunch round her flat. I came back with countless hickeys, bite marks and scratches all over me. It’s like I got jealous of myself from the video and pictures I saw. The feeling of the lust he had for me. How fucking intoxicating it was that we wanted eachother but couldn’t go any more further. He hasn’t touched me like that since. Maybe that’s what fucks me up. Maybe that’s what I miss about the 3 of us. How much I was wanted. Maybe it was because it was forbidden for us to do anything major, the having to slow the pace of everything. But I miss the marks. There’s so many pictures and videos of all the marks. I remember saying I was having the best sex of my life then, and we weren’t even fucking. That whole dynamic of the 3 of us back then was so comfortable. I felt equal to her. I didn’t feel like some play thing. It worked. And I loved it. I wanted a future for all of us. And I fucked that up. There’s feelings I’ll never get again and it still gets to me that I lost that. There was so much potential there too. It was different. I’m so much happier now I’m so many ways, but there’s things I don’t feel would be the same. If we ever found a third it wouldn’t be nothing like it was with her. I think that’s what puts me off the idea. It wouldn’t be the same. It’s like it would only work with her. I do find myself missing her. But lately it’s more been missing the feeling of being with them both and being at that early lustful place in the dynamic. It was such high in my life. A major peak and I fell so much afterwards. I’m forever scarred by how it ended. I still have resentment for him breaking up with her in the first place, and for getting back with her two weeks after that. I just felt like that solidified me being out of it for good. And shit those videos will come up soon too, that day I was just crying the whole time at work where my eyes were so puffy. Where I started to really hit that mega low. Seeing the memories or not it still comes flooding back to me all the time. Both the good and the bad. It’ll always haunt me, knowing what we had and what could’ve been. I still dk how to move on and process it. I guess it would be moving on with J. And I am. We’ve got the flat, we’ve done so much, and I’ve never been happier. But he talks so much about finding someone else. I wonder if he feels the same as me, I wonder if he misses how it was with the three of us and craves to have that again. Idk.
I hate how much it affects me tho. He’s right it will do our relationship harm in the future if it keeps going on. How can he blame me for worrying about being too much and him leaving when he literally affirms it ? He says if I don’t change and get over this “silly stuff” then he will rethink stuff. That just fucks me up and makes me not wanna talk or open up or be honest. It makes me wanna shut down and keep it all hush and quiet.
He doesn’t deserve to keep dealing with me tho, not with all the repetitive lows and worries and anx’s and everything. It’s what pushed Thelo away. I’m scared shitless that I’m doomed to have history repeat itself. I can’t shake the feeling that even tho “we’ve hardly seen eachother these past few days” as he’s been saying constantly, that he doesn’t even have the capacity to see me tonight because of how I’ve been lately. I’ve been too much. Added too much to his plate and stressed him out. Now he needs space from me. We’re meant to be moving in together in a week. What if he needs space and now we live together ? What if I’m too much to be dealing with 24/7? Ik we did it in the flat before, but it’ll be different this time. He won’t have the option to go to his mums or whatever, maybe his will idk. I just wish I didn’t get us to this point. I hate that I can’t control anything when I’m hormonal. I defo don’t think I’ll take a break again from the pill for a few months. I fucking hate this shit. I wanna go back to being how I was before, with him being so happy with me. He said this new pill made me so much better. I just wanna be what he wants. God I can’t help but beat myself up over the past few days. I can never tell if what he says to me is just being said to comfort me or if he’s saying “what I wanna hear”. Like I wanna believe he’s genuine but he says such contrasting things it just confuses me. Or am I just listening wrong and making myself believe that. I have no fucking clue. I don’t wanna suck the enjoyment out of the next week. We’re going out tomorrow. We move in a week ! We have his b day thing next saturday. I just want him to be happy and I wanna be the cause of his happiness. Maybe it’s a good thing we’re apart tonight. I miss him loads. But I don’t wanna risk making matters worse. God why am I such a fucking idiot.
