i love choosing muses that aren’t very. canonically fleshed out. it gives me a lot of opportunity to make them into my own ig :3

raikov is generally a pretty blank slate besides the little we know about him ( being violent / sadistic, being in love with volgin, u kno ) and i think he's potentially a really interesting character from what little we see of him. im personally not ascribed to the eva theory bc i think its kinda silly and robs him of a lot of his personal agency, but it is a common theory, so i kinda wanted to build up a characterisation that was more. faithful to canon rather than fanon u kno. plus sometimes my autism just latches onto specific random characters for no reason and in this case it was raikov JDSFHDFKJ my partner loves raiden and when we were scrolling his wiki page for the funnies obviously raikov's page comes up at the top as a "maybe you meant this" and i just kept coming back to him

SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH i hate writing anything with like. eating?? which is ironic considering . raikov . but i just never know how to word it BUT aside from that i think combat is really the only thing ! just cause i feel like it relies heavily on input from both parties and i constantly feel like im overstepping kjshkfjhg

fluff angst smut grins. they just come a lot easier to me, especially angst because i always have a LOT to say about silly little internal thought processes and i love writing sadness and pain ^-^ it makes me very gleeful ironically jdkhfdjhg i get very emotionally invested in angst especially. smut is a little bit harder? kinda like with combat ironically it heavily relies on the input of both parties but i do feel for the most part its pretty open ended fun :3

i just know. BUT NO SERIOUSLY sometimes it's just Vibes, sometimes it's through reading canon stuff and linking it back to my backstory for him, sometimes it's through interactions with others. there's a lot :3 i do put a lot of thought into my headcanons though, maybe like. too much lmao. but i enjoy it i really love doing a lot of analysis to get to my headcanons

a bit of both ! rn i'm writing in silence and i think last night i was mostly writing in silence on my phone and then listening to music while i finished stuff on pc. i think it depends ? sometimes i just get really distracted when listening to music and end up completely neglecting actually writing HDFJGHED so i think overall i prefer silence, or something in the background that i've already seen before so i don't need to pay much attention to it

i love winging it :3 i like the unpredictability of it but i think i tend to like. outline ? replies before i actually write them properly. ive never really plotted with anyone besides a vague kinda outline or premise, because i do really like the unpredictability :3 but im always open to plotting grins cutely.

Aside from an obvious choice here in concerns to a certain Archer….

Odysseus for sure. His personality? Immaculate. Arrogant, but he knows what he can and cannot do, and that is to be respected. That man is a go getter and no matter what hardship comes to him, he overcomes it. That level of determination is immensely attractive to Ozy as is the other’s intense sense of loyalty as well. Get you a husband that will go through hell and back to get back to you. All these traits together would deem the other worthy of consideration most especially.

Constantine. He would marry him so he can take over his Empire. Fool! That was his plan all along! But also he’s pretty so that’s a bonus to it all, but really it’s so he can take over his empire.

Kill:

Ashwatthama. There’s no profound reason for this like him disliking him or anything. If anything, he finds Ash to be pretty neat with all his anger and that burning passion for battle. He just wants to see this fabled warrior in action and defeat him all the same JFHKSJHFKSFS. THAT’S IT.

Daybit. Same reason as Ash, except with Daybit being as incredibly powerful and intelligent as he is, Ozy finds that both attractive and dangerous. Any regular human who can just casually go toe-to-toe with a Servant and be their own one-man-army is definitely worthy of every ounce of respect he has. As a result of this respect that he feels towards the Crypter, he would deem them worthy of killing by his hand and just as worthy of remembrance too.

* ˙ ⭒ ⊱ 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐍.

◈　what made you pick up the current muse(s) you have?　 ⋯ 　For my fandomless OCs, it's just because I love their characters or have grown to over the years and to get to know them more so that when I write about them in my WIPs, they are fully fleshed out characters. Of course, there may be some differences between for example Tori & Alex in the RPC and Tori and Alex in my WIP about them. But I do feel RP helps me to get to know my muses a bit better. (I'm not going to do all of my fandomless OCs but I will say that I do love all of them. And have books planned for many of them, after I finish the books of Tori & Alex's story.)

For Antoinette, I was inspired after seeing Beauty and the Beast (2017), idk why. Something about that movie just caught my muse and I was like what if one of the feather dusters was gay and black and ...yeah, Antoinette was born! I absolutely adore her. <3

For the [Redacted] Doctor, they were born out of a desire to see T'Nia Miller portray the Doctor (even though she was already in Doctor Who. I know, I know. But so was Peter Capaldi.) And then I kind of developed a personality for the Doctor and a story and yeah. The rest is history. <3 I adore them so much too. <3

For The Thirteenth Doctor, what can I say? She's my Doctor and I love her. And I can relate to her so much, but I also admire her character as well. So she's an interesting muse to play. I love RPing her. <3

For my Witcher muses: Yennefer, Ciri, Renfri, and Jaskier: Yennefer I love but do find difficult at times. However, I welcome the challenge. And I look forward to getting better at slipping into her voice as time goes on. Ciri is my favorite character and so it was an easy choice picking her as a muse. Similar to 13, I can relate to aspects of Ciri while admiring others. And that makes her an interesting muse to play. Renfri, I loved her story in the book and in the show, and wanted to make her really come to life. Jaskier is probably in my top 5 favorite Witcher characters, at least in the show. He brings some lightness but also is not too light that it takes away from the realism. He's a well-rounded character, I think. I often suck at portraying male characters, at least IMO, but Jaskier was an easy one for me to write because he's not super macho or anything lol. And he's a character I can also relate to in some ways, so yeah.

For my Bridgerton muses: Daphne, Eloise, Benedict, Simon, Kate, and Penelope. I adore Bridgerton. It's like Jane Austen meets Gossip Girl with more diversity and so once I finished watching s2, I was like....I need to add muses. Daphne is a character I really enjoy and s1 is told through her perspective, so you really get to know her. Eloise is ahead of her time and so bold and I love her for it. Benedict is artistic and sensitive, especially for the time he lives in. Simon is also a character I really enjoy watching and getting to know in s1. Kate is probably my favorite character of all (Eloise is a close second. And Daphne is a close third.). And Penelope? Who wouldn't want to explore her complex character?

Now on to my Arcane muses. Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, Viktor, and Mel. Vi is a bit of a challenge, but like with Yennefer, I enjoy it. Caitlyn is probably the character I relate to the most out of these muses of mine, so of course I had to RP her. Jayce, I thoroughly enjoy him. Viktor same. Mel same.

Motherland: Fort Salem muses: Raelle, Tally, Abigail, and Scylla. I relate the most to Raelle and Tally but I adore Abigail and Scylla as well. I love the show in general and it being taken off Hulu is my villain origin story lol. <3 So portraying these wonderful muses just made sense to me.

Ann Walker is the character/person I relate to the most in Gentleman Jack, I'm much more of an Ann than an Anne, though I'd say I have aspects of both. LOL. But yeah, I felt like she was underappreciated so I picked her up as a muse.

Laura & Carmilla from the Carmilla Webseries & Movie: I'm pretty much the bisexual nonbinary version of Laura. LOL. So I had to RP her. And while I can't fully relate to Carmilla I do adore her as a character, so RPing her seemed to make sense.

Now on to my ASOIAF/Game of Thrones muses: Daenerys and Arya. These two are my favorite characters in that world. And I can relate to and admire both of them. So like with 13 and Ciri, that makes them interesting muses to play.

◈　is there anything you don’t like to write?　 ⋯ 　Besides the obvious topics that I'm uncomfortable with that are in my rules, I'd say I don't want to write angst for the sake of angst. Like I love angst, don't get me wrong. I adore angst. But it has to make sense for my muse and their story. I feel the same way about fluff, btw. hahah. As long as the mood makes sense for my muse and their story, though, I'm good.

◈　is there anything you really enjoy writing?　 ⋯ 　Angst. Hurt/comfort. Fluff. Romance. Smut (sometimes). I enjoy writing anything and everything.

◈　how do you come up with headcanons?　 ⋯ 　It varies depending on muse. Sometimes if they're a canon muse, I'll react to themes or ideas or scenes in their canon. Or even fandom interpretations of them. For my OCs, I tend to think of headcanons based on what I feel needs expanding on. But tbh, I am always open to suggestions for headcanons for any of my muses.

◈　do you write in silence or do you play music?　 ⋯ 　It depends on my mood. I've done both. Hahah.

◈　do you plan your replies or wing them?　 ⋯ 　I'm much better at winging it, but I don't mind plotting and working things out if it's what my RP partner prefers. I'm flexible like that :)

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? after writing lilina for quite a few months, i've been really having fun with the short, snappy interactions that can be a little silly... reliving teen years in a sense...

Favorite TOA-related memory: out of character - any events like watching on rocky horror picture show halloween and karaoke; in character - i really enjoyed more recently the member run event harmonia (blows a kiss to tsu and n)

Fluff Alphabet for Evie (OG HSS f!MC) and Aiden

A - ATTRACTIVE. [what do they find attractive about the other?]

For Evie: Appearance wise, Evie is obsessed with pretty much all of Aiden. His eyes, his lips, his hair, his butt, his thighs, his hips, his waist, his stomach, his chest, his hands. She especially has a fixation on his butt, but overall she can't really choose a favorite. Personality/Behavior Wise, Evie strongly admires Aiden's dedication to music and how passion-driven he is, as well as his kindness to her and his growing interest in trying new things.

For Aiden: Appearance wise, Aiden loves all of Evie, but his two favorites would have to be her muscles (especially her arms) and her nose. Personality/Behavior wise, Aiden admires Evie's passion, as well as her confidence and creative free-thinking mind. Most especially, he loves Evie's dedication to him– how she's willing to give him time of day, how she loves to spoil and praise the absolute crap out of him, how she's always got his back in more ways than one, how he just feels so safe with her.

B - BEST MEMORY. [what is the best memory they have with each other?]

Neither of them can really decide on a best memory. There are way too many amazing and special moments to choose from.

C - CUDDLE. [how do they cuddle?]

Evie is always big spoon and Aiden is always little spoon. But both love to snuggle against each other's chest and listen to each other's heartbeat. They also love cuddling with Aiden straddling/sitting on Evie's lap.

D - DATES. [what are dates with them like?]

Their dates vary quite a lot. Going swimming, eating out, going to the movies, watching a movie at home, going for a walk, Evie listening to Aiden play, staying home and listening to random music tracks together and talking about them, cuddling at home, to name a few.

E - EVERYTHING. (you are my ____ (e.g. my life, my world…)

Evie: "You are My King, you are my love, you are my life"

Aiden: "You are my muse, you are my world, you are my love"

F - FEELINGS. [when did they know they were falling in love?]

For Evie: She started to really crush on Aiden the first time he invited her to listen to him play. She already knew she loved him by the time they officially became official, but wanted to give it time to let it sink in and to give Aiden some time to figure out his own feelings as well.

For Aiden: He first realized he was crushing after she took him to the roller rink to help clear his head when he was struggling with his music. He did start to realize he loved her by the time they became official, but he wanted to be sure of it first.

G - GENTLE. [are they gentle? if so, how?]

Listening to each other's heartbeat. Playing with each other's hair. Caressing each other. Aiden softly humming tunes into Evie's ear. To name a few.

H - HANDHOLDING. [how do they like to hold hands?]

Nah I'm just kidding. Usually they hold hands the basic way, but sometimes they'll interlock fingers.

I - IMPRESSION. [first impression/s]

When Evie first met Aiden, she definitely took him for the more stoic, reserved, serious type. But this, along with his physical appearance, did intrigue her. Soon enough, she would get to know his more passionate side.

When Aiden first met Evie, he was interested by her more free-thinking attitude. But he was also a bit startled/overwhelmed by how "forward" she could be every now and then– but even then, Evie never overstepped her boundaries.

J - JOKER. [are they into pulling pranks?]

Evie isn't quite a prankster type, but she does enjoy stuff like sneaking pinches to Aiden's butt every now and then (don't worry, Aiden's okay with it).

K - KISSES. [how do they kiss?]

Regular kissing, cheek kissing, jaw kissing, neck kissing, collarbone kissing... you get the idea. Pretty much any kind of kissing is fair game for them.

L - LOVE. [who says ‘i love you’ first?]

As per canon, Aiden said it first when they went to prom together. He first knew it for sure when they went on their post-promposal evening picnic. Even then, he was still nervous about confessing it to her, but by prom he was able to say it.

And when he did, Evie was very close to tearing up. To hear those three words from him meant so much to her, that the person saying those words genuinely and truly appreciated her. And of course it was at that moment that Evie felt ready to return the sentiment.

M - MORNINGS. [what are mornings like with them?]

Sometimes they're morning people, sometimes they're not. If Evie wakes up before Aiden, she'll cuddle and snuggle with him for a bit until she wants to get up or until he wakes up. If Aiden wakes up before Evie, he'll usually admire her or snuggle in her arms.

N - NICKEL. [do they spoil? do they buy the person they love everything?]

So, Evie spoils the absolute shit out of Aiden. She gets him flowers that he likes, chocolates and treats that he likes, she loves to pamper and worship him, anything that makes him happy. Aiden used to (and sometimes still does) feel guilty about Evie spoiling him so much, but he still loves the treatment.

Likewise, Aiden does spoil Evie to a degree as well. He's especially attentive to the small details about what she likes, especially her affinity for cute things like stuffed animals. And let's not forget the many songs he composes for her, of course.

O - ORANGE. [what color reminds them of their other half?]

Evie tends to associate the colors black, purple, blue, and gold (especially the combo of purple and black) with Aiden, all of which are among some of Aiden's most favorite colors. Aiden tends to associate the colors purple, powder pink, mint green, and red with Evie, most of which are among some of Evie's most favorite colors.

P - PET NAMES. [what pet names do they use?]

Evie loves to call Aiden: Darling, Baby, Babe, Baby Boy, Babygirl, My King, Sweetie, Cupcake, Love, Honey, Honeybun.

Aiden loves to call Evie: Sweetheart, Darling, My Muse, My Love.

Q - QUESTIONS. [what are the questions they’re always asking?]

IDK really, there's quite a lot. Both of them are always eager to learn more about each other.

R - RAINY DAY. [what do they like to do on a rainy day?]

Usually they'll watch a movie or a show together, read a book, have conversations about something, Aiden might play music for her, they might listen to music together, they may cuddle/snuggle in bed or even– ahem– get a bit steamy, they may shower/bathe together, they may dance together, almost any fun indoor activity is fair game.

S - SAD. [how do they cheer themselves/each other up?]

When Evie is sad, usually what works best is when Aiden will just hold her close to him. Sometimes he may try to cheer her up by also offering to do/get her something she likes or giving her words of encouragement. But usually it's the physical touch and closeness as well as talking about the problem with her, of course– that he's best at and that works best for her.

When Aiden is sad, Evie will hold her close to him and try to talk about what's wrong while also caressing/massaging him, kissing him a little, and giving him words of encouragement. Sometimes she may even try to hum a song into his ear– something Aiden's parents would often do to help him feel better ever since he was four.

T - TALKING. [what do they love to talk about?]

Almost anything, really. Favorite pieces of media, childhood memories, past experiences, the occasional political discussion (they both align very closely in political views), discussions of music, etc. Sometimes it can be just casual small talk, other times they may have conversations that go on for hours.

U - UNENCUMBERED. [what helps them relax?]

Taking a walk together, going to the roller rink together, any form of exercise, giving each other massages, getting steamy with each other, showering or bathing together, and much more.

V - VAUNT. [what do they like to show off? what are they proud of?]

Evie is proud of her muscles and her physical capacity, and she loves to make Aiden swoon by flexing or showing off her strength. She's also quite proud of her creative mind and her own dedication to her passions.

Aiden is of course very proud of his musical abilities– in fact, that honestly goes without saying. He does also take pride in his appearance, and ever since he started to date Evie he's taken more of an interest in trying out "shorter" clothing like crop tops and short shorts.

W - WEDDING. [when, how, where do they propose?]

Evie proposed about 2 years after her graduation from Berry, on a lovely late May afternoon after she'd finished her 2nd year of University. They'd known each other for about 5 years at this time, and even though they both went to different Universities, they were still able to keep in touch and meet up quite often, their relationship only growing stronger by each day.

Evie had been planning her proposal since late February/early March that year. They'd talked about the possibility of marriage multiple times over the past few years, but it was by this point that Evie was very sure that Aiden was the one.

Evie took Aiden on a very extensive date that day. A day full of swimming, go-karting, and dancing. Then she took him back to her house, only to find that she– or at least their friends– had decorated the shit out of her house. Then she led him to her backyard, giving a speech about her love for him... before dropping down on one knee and opening up a purple velvet ring box. Aiden said yes before she even had a chance to actually pop the question.

Their wedding would take place about 3 years later, in a grand hotel. Evie nearly burst into tears when she saw Aiden walking down the aisle. One year after that, they'd move into a cozy apartment in San Francisco, where they lived in for about a year before moving to their own house in Cedar Cove to have children.

Both of them are major cat people and would get about 2-3 cats. One of which would be Aiden's black cat Meowzart (which he got as a kitten after the whole Isa fiasco was over) and another of which would be Evie's white-and-orange cat Daisy (who was about 2 years old when Meowzart was a kitten).

Aiden is also a fan of dogs, especially since his family has had a German Shepherd named Wolfgang since he was in second grade (who passed away during his second year of University). But he far prefers to have cats.

weighing in my two cents here:

( before i preface this, i am afab and gender-fluid. i identify as trans <3 )

people ( especially queer people ) are allowed to write their muses as queer and trans, and accusing actual queer and trans people of portraying their own identity wrong is quite frankly weird as hell ?? not to mention that ask itself is disgusting and a total reach. if you sent that anon to redacted i genuinely hope both sides of your pillow are warm at night and that all of your chargers break so that you have to hold them at a weird specific angle for your phone to charge.

also probably a good time to add that my summer uses she/he/they pronouns and is a demigirl bisexual. thank you <3

Starting with some of the obvious ones: I definitely wanna throw Nine and Vastra at both Thirteen and your Redacted Doctor because YES. Vastra will be especially pleased to see femme-presenting doctors, so that could be a lot of fun.

A couple of other obvious pairs would be Brienne with Dany and / or Arya. And depending on the verse / how things go, Brienne would be extremely loyal to either of them, doing what she can to protect them, even if she knows they don't really need her.

I definitely want to toss Jan and Remy Carol's way, especially since, in the comics, accidentally stealing Carol's powers is how Rogue gets hers, so there could definitely be some interesting interactions with Carol and Remy.

Please also throw any and all of your OCs at me! My boy Aster can fit pretty much anywhere that I want him to, so he would be a good person to interact with just about anyone, whether they're from a specific fandom or were built without any specific fandom in mind!

[ 🌎 ] are there any aus you have for your muse? what are they like, and how is your muse different in them?

MINAH — I have vague thoughts about a high school au based on her Exciting Teenage Years, but nothing concrete. typically I hate high school aus but I think minah has the range. mostly I think she should get to dress as a mall goth and that's as far as I've gotten.

VESPER — a couple! a star wars au that is 99% vibes (god she'd make a great jedi knight). also an inquisition companion!au (I think she'd be a fun inquisition resource and would get a lot out of Not managing the inquisition by herself; and I especially like a companion!vesper in a world where one of her siblings becomes the inquisitor). I've also got an AU where she runs away instead of going to the circle and becomes an apostate which is like a 5k WIP in my drafts and probably always will be, but it's fun to think about her in Kirkwall and whatnot. most AUs are built around her Not growing up super sheltered and then taking on a massive responsibility to the entire world, and honestly she's probably better off for it.

[ 💍 ] does your muse have a “type” of people that they prefer to enter relationships with? is their type generally compatible with them, or does the dynamic tend to be toxic?

MINAH — she doesn't have a type. most her past relationships have been different flavors of toxic, but that's on her—she tends to hook up with people she knows aren't compatible so she knows it won't be a long-term thing

VESPER — likes broad shoulders and arms and the ability to keep up in a debate. in another world, she'd have gotten on Really well with the iron bull if ya know what I mean, but he was a little too forward when she was a little too skittish. as it is, she and cullen spent enough nights hashing out battle plans together to get past the logistics and into the ethics and realities and regrets, and they found they were a lot more alike than they might have imagined at first glance

[ ❌ ] is there something your muse struggles with that they might never overcome? what is it? why do they have so much trouble with it?

MINAH — haha yeah it's [redacted]

VESPER — well, there's her status as a mage, but she's pretty comfortably resigned to that reality and doesn't have a problem with it—it's more a struggle of other people having a problem, and she deals with it with unbelievable grace and patience. losing her hand (and the inquisition) is definitely rough on her, but she manages it by throwing herself into new problems. she doesn't like feeling like she isn't doing anything

[ 🔮 ] what is your muse’s relationship with religion and spirituality? were they raised in a certain religion? have they stuck with the same set of spiritual beliefs all their life, or have they changed over time? are they settled in their spirituality now?

MINAH — oh, bad. not good. she was raised staunchly andrastian but her parents' deaths really fucked with her faith, and she's dealt with the fallout by swinging wildly in the other direction. the maker doesn't exist AND the chantry is a force for corruption and hate AND they're annoying too. she's quite cheerfully opposed to their entire dogma and has no plans to change her views

VESPER — vesp was also raised andrastian and also had a falling out, but it was a much more drawn out and contemplative sort of severing tended by years in the circle. she's seen enough of the fade and magic to understand that some of their theories and teachings aren't inherently Wrong, but she puts no stock in the chantry itself—she's sort of the theodosian equivalent of agnostic

[ 😍 ] does your muse believe in true love? why or why not?

MINAH — no. she hasn't seen or experienced anything like that. it makes a nice story though—in her heart of hearts, she wouldn't mind being proven wrong about that one

VESPER — no. she thinks love takes work and choice and effort, but that's what makes it worthwhile—putting in the work and wanting it

boardwalk performers: also sent in wc info for this. basically they are a close group of street performers. they collaborate, create videos of their performances, and at the end of the night will go grab a drink ( whether it was a success or not )

friends: pretty basic but everyone could use friends. zoee has lived in and out of glen ellen for 10 years so could be new or old ( the out being the four years / eight semesters in college, but she came back every summer/break ). she also lived in new york for four years so if your muse is from there, they could possibly be friends from that time? ( i estimate around 2015 through 2020, so about three years ago she was in ny )

There's a lot of background to DL, and the one thing that is an important part of their character is that they escaped. They escaped a bad situation, but it's left them shattered and bitter and wary of everyone. You wouldn't think that, given their jovial and friendly approach. Sometimes, it feels like they're waiting for the right person to arrive and not necessarily take it all away and magic them better, but make them feel less alone and unprepared.

This doesn't really have a whole bunch of backstory to it, but it is the song that DL used to sing a lot when they worked as a singer for [REDACTED]. It was what you'd call their signature song.

DL is a character of many facets. This is one of those facets where they are a lot more confident in themselves. They've got a lot to show, and they have an extremely well-known reputation for being extremely good at what they do. felix doesn’t care to remember much of where he comes from or when. it’s all too painful for him, which he would do his damndest to avoid admitting, but which is...sort of obvious by the *gestures* everything about him.

his father was a cruel man. constantly abusing his siblings and mother. felix saw himself as the protector, the savior for his family. he thought he could really help them. he believed he could save them, one day. he planned to get them away and escape in the night.

except before he could, his father discovered his plan and took felix’s family away. he never saw them again, and it broke him to be alone, to no longer be needed.

then, he was turned. and everything changed after that. suddenly, he had a new family—the volturi—who needed him. he found new purpose in protecting his new family. one who made him strong—more than he’d ever been as a human. he loves the power that came with being a vampire. it protects him, and makes him feel like he can protect others in return. he might not have powers like some of the others, but he believes he’s needed, and for a long time, that was enough.

about five years ago, felix began feeling..different. not even a bad sort of different, but as he hadn’t changed much in the two centuries he’d been a vampire, it raised all his alarms.

for the next three years, he did everything in his power to stamp out that different feeling. but eventually, it snuck its way in, and he finally had to confront it for what is truly was.

this feeling was one of emptiness, of listlessness and loneliness and a lot of other words he doesn’t know or understand. he didn’t dare tell any of the rest of the volturi. he knew what he was feeling was wrong, somehow. definitely not himself. but for the next two years, it consumed him.

he ultimately decided to follow it, and found forks, washington on a map, seemingly at random, and followed those mess of emotions. now that he’s here, he isn’t sure what the hell he’s even looking for exactly, but he knows, deep down, what it might be.

felix has always had purpose in protecting those he cares for. in using his brute strength to kill and spill blood and destroy anyone who threatened them. but, for maybe the first time in his immortal life, he is wondering if there isn’t meant to be something more than that out there.

not that he’s ready to admit this to anyone, especially himself.

personality/misc.:

felix is...a foolish, murderous...himbo lol. sometimes it’s a bit deeper, but that’s who he truly is, and i gotta let him be fucking crazy, but free.

definitely a jokester and someone who likes to make people laugh, but he’s just as quick to make fun of someone as to bring a smile to their face.

works out more than is good for him. or anyone else, for that matter. may or may not have a secret instagram where he posts thirsttraps don’t @ me.

definitely has a motorcycle he bought when he came to forks and he also definitely has a vintage leather jacket that he got cause he ate/killed the poor guy wearing it.

probably has not read a book in 1000 yrs god help him

wary introduction: someone who doesn’t trust felix, no matter how many easy smiles he pours onto them. would be interesting to see what lengths he goes to protect his secret and if they know about the supernatural or not.

new friend: felix has only been in town a week, so he wouldn’t know anyone too well yet, but maybe your character and felix hit it off right away? maybe they get into some trouble together? maybe they’re just pure chaos? would love to see it.

enemies: felix has probably made one or uh a dozen enemies in his life. let’s have our characters duke it out. childish games or deadly force??? let’s fuck around and find out!!!

manipulator: as we’ve established, this murder!himbo isn’t the brightest bulb in the tanning bed, so maybe your character wants to use him for something? further their own coven’s goals? get him to do something he normally wouldn’t? just some good ole deceit.

savior complex: felix definitely has white knight syndrome to a ‘t’ so would love to have him have a past connection where he saved them or something. his one good deed for the century, yk? maybe felix won’t leave them alone, or maybe your muse hates him for something else he did that ruined the good thing. totally open to working out what would work best here.

family: the volturi is his family, but i think having different relationships based with them would be really cool! so if you’re in this coven, pls give me a hollar and we can work out if felix and your muse hate, love, would kill without being asked, or simply tolerate one another.

unlikely comrades: i could see felix making some friends that aren’t exactly his normal crew. i would particularly love this for some people who would actually be his enemy in most scenarios. all about that unexpected friendship.

mate/potential love interest: this is just gonna be really general cause it will definitely rely on your muse and plotting and such, but would be interested in developing out a mate/love interest for him. doesn’t need to be a mate as i know that’s a commitment. but *ben wyatt voice* felix has never had a real relationship in his life. i don’t need this to be immediate, and would actually love to play a long game here with lots of development and getting to know chemistry and such.

a time when writing was really, really hard: the only time writing was not hard was during the writing challenges in june and october. or well it was still hard but i was putting out words like an insane person anyway. blessed days.

a scene or character you wrote who surprised you: still surprised to be writing in the first place. certainly wrote a lot of stuff towards the end of the year that i did not expect. wrote about a shitload of trauma. OH i wrote crack. did not expect to be able to do that.

a favorite excerpt of your writing: i mostly like some of the one liners in my fics and this is one of them from into the deep end: "Fear spreads through [Steve] and he rushes forward, half expecting a monster in the middle of the bed, but when he moves behind the others to look into the room he stops as well. It’s not a monster, not really. At least he doesn’t think so.

It’s just a mullet wearing asshole that’s supposed to be dead."

and i wrote this baby of drabble that’s one of my fav pieces of writing idk i struggled with this point of the review

how did you grow as a writer this year? i have become more open to just writing what i want. especially recently i’ve stopped really caring? like i still look at numbers too much but at least i write what i like now. i’ve also started writing longer works (at least sort of)

how do you hope to grow next year? i wish i had more time to write which isn’t really something i can force so i think i’m just hoping to not care about statistics as much. as to writing itself i wanna just expand my vocabulary.

who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc)? alright so, idk. i often feel very uncomfy speaking to people about my fic bc i think i annoy them and they only put up with it. i certainly have some lovely people who have been supportive (like em) and have been kind enough to beta for me (e.g. helen) and especially noah has been helping me with ideas. but yeah overall idk i shy away from talking about my fic bc it just ends up making me feel bad. thus i think the only overall actually very positive influence was the stranger things fandom, lovely feedback, actual engagement with fics, all that stuff has been helpful.

what does your URL mean, and why did you choose it? what genre do you primarily favour? what are you top five universes to RP within? what universe have you never even considered writing in, and why?

My URL is (loosely) based on lyrics from Florence & The Machine's song "Daffodil", especially the line "made myself mythical, tried to be real." I sorta spun that one around in my head, came up with realmyths, saw it wasn't taken and voila! LOL I chose it because I think the line (and the URL) fit the majority of my muses, in that, even though so many of them are larger than life (mythical, sometimes literally) they do their best to remain as down to earth as possible (real). At least, that's how it fits my view of my muses. It also works in that they are (within their own canons) living, breathing mythical/larger than life beings. So it sorta has that meaning as well.

I tend to favor sci-fi/fantasy/modern fantasy, as you can probably tell from my muse selections lol. But I do love a good mystery and historical fiction/period drama now and then.

Top 5 universes to RP within: 1. fandomless fantasy/sci-fi-I feel like it's interesting to have characters who are mythical/immortal beings interacting with everyday people, or other supernatural beings. It's just something I have loads of fun with. 2. Doctor Who - I feel like the nature of the show means there are so many possibilities for threads. Obviously I currently have the 13th and Redacted Doctors, though I'm also planning on giving Persephone (and probably other muses of mine as well) a Doctor Who verse where she's a companion. IDK why but that's long been a dream of mine. I just need someone's Doctor muse to volunteer lol. I also plan on adding more Doctor Who canons and maybe an OC? I just love the show and the world created within it. 3. Bridgerton - What can I say? I love a good period drama. And Bridgerton has tons more diversity than the average period drama. I love all the muses I have from the show and might add some OCs or more canons in the future. 4. The Witcher- shoutout to @okruchlodu because I adore our Yen & Ciri threads. Overall, I really enjoy RPing all of my Witcher muses. And feel the world is an intriguing one. 5. GOT/ASOIAF - What can I say? I love Daenerys & Arya, especially in the books. And I love bringing them to life within that world. So I had to mention it, even though I don't have as many threads going as I'd like to lol. Honorable mention goes to Arcane, and a shoutout to @ferinehuntress, @shimmerbeasts, @jynxd for being lovely lovely humans and keeping my Arcane muses, particularly Vi, active. I do truly love the world of the show, and while I am not yet as immersed in it as the others mentioned above (s2 where are you? I feel like once it comes I'll get a ton of muse lol) , I still feel connected to it and that's in large part due to our threads. So thank you <3

What universes have I never considered writing in? Hmmmm...probably fandom-wise, Stranger Things & Supernatural because I tried to get into ST twice, and failed. And as for supernatural, I once watched all of s1 & half of s2 and bailed. So I'm just not super into either show. That said, I wouldn't say no to RPing with muses in those fandoms, because I believe in the creativity and ingenuity of the RPC and that muns here could bring their characters to life super well and make me interested. So...yeah. As far as fandomless/general settings go, anything that's super normal is a no go for me. I feel like I struggle to make threads (and writing in general really) interesting when all that's happening is....regular life, you know? Like a thread where no one's supernatural, no sci-fi shenanigans, no mystery, we're not in the past, etc. would just not work for me, because I'd struggle to keep it interesting for both me and my RP partner. So there are no coffee-shop AUs in my future lol. Though I never say never. hahah.

EXACTLY!! I find it so funny seeing people obsess over their favorite drivers and hate on their least favorite drivers to the level that they do. maybe it’s because I experience the one direction fandom during my teen years, but i’ve realized how pointless it is to dedicate so much of your life to thinking about petty drama happening in a total stranger’s life. it’s definitely healthy to have some distance between yourself and this sport

literally if there's one thing i've learnt from my many years in fandom it's how important it is to distance yourself from it!! ramblings about fandom and how we partake in it under the cut lol

not to like. dictate how people should experience things, but fandom is supposed to be FUN! and what's fun will of course be different for everyone but if you're getting genuinely angry about what someone's saying about your favourite [drive/actor/character/musician/whatever] then you NEED to take a break, because it literally does not matter.

and i get that the lines can get blurry. especially on social media! when i tag a pic of seb with #he's everything to me, or something along those lines, i don't MEAN that. but it's fun! it's just my way of saying i enjoy the version of him that is presented to me through media/fandom musings. but it's not real! and i know that! i am very aware of that, but it's not FUN to go on about that, so we don't. but i do think it should be talked about more because it's good to be aware of it and have a conscious relationship with fandom and how you interact with it.

and re: hate. i have a LOT of thoughts on the subject actually, mainly they boil down to this: sometimes it can be fun to hate things in fandom (in terms of f1, teams and/or drivers). sometimes that can bring you joy! but only if you don't take it very seriously. and i think this is ESPECIALLY true in sports. it's a big part of the community, because it's all about competition, and not everyone can win, so it makes sense to have a least favourite/someone you root against/etc. and. i like being a hater! but i'm not. going out of my way to let people know why i don't like someone. i'm not telling fans of the people i dislike that they should ALSO dislike them bc of reason xyz. i just like being petty in the dms with my friends! and then occasionally i'll make a post where i say "oh [redacted] is really annoying i hope he flops]" and that will be that. it's not REAL to me, it's just. it's fun? i'm not sure i'm making a lot of sense with this.

there was a really good post going around a while ago actually that i CANNOT find, that talked about people's need to almost. idk if this is what they called it, but act as missionaries through their fandom expressions? i.e. "i hate this thing so it is imperative that everyone else also hates this thing", OR "i like this thing, so it is imperative that everyone else also likes this thing." which, maybe i'm just, as i said in my original post, too OLD. i don't care anymore! i definitely probably did back when i was a teenager (i too, was in the 1d fandom lol and yeah. it sure does prepare you for fandom life in different ways lol) but now i just. want to enjoy the things i enjoy, with my friends who also enjoy the things i enjoy. and sometimes that includes talking about how punchable [redacted] is! and i think if more people got to that point in their. idk, fandom-careers? dumb word but i'm going with it. if more people got to that point, they would have more fun. it IS possible to be invested in something without it having a negative impact on your mood. and when you do that, it will also be easier to accept that other people dislike the things that you like?

uh i could. also go on another rant about echo chambers, fandom in-groups/out-groups, but. i will refrain lmao

sorry this is SO long and rambly. i just have a lot of thoughts and will jump at the opportunity to share them lololol. also disclaimer this is. obviously just my thoughts and it's heavily influenced by my own experiences, and my experiences aren't universal etc. if anyone thinks this is WAY off, feel free to chime in!!

TL;DR: remember that to some extent this is all fake and don't let it negatively impact your life. if it is, take a step back! reflect on why! distance is good!
