How this series goes: With each book, for a MC I'm invested in, I'll assess each of their in-game outfits. How much do I like or dislike the outfit? Is this something that suits my MC's style, or does it make me go "My MC would NOT wear/own this"? And for the outfits that my MC would not wear or own, how would I alter or replace them? I'm not going to use screenshots from the actual game because I can't be arsed. Also I want to use the different sprite expressions to express how my MC would feel about each outfit.

I like to think this is a good opportunity to elaborate on my MCs' dress styles, and show off some edits :D

We've gone through all of the wardrobe of the OG HSS trilogy, but we're not quite done yet. The OG MC appears as a non-playable character in HSS:CA, and gets two new outfits in that trilogy, so let's assess them for Evie Ayana!

After this, I do plan to make a post showcasing some of the bonus miscellaneous outfits I came up with myself for other events in the timeline.

Free Default Casual Outfit (if you didn't buy the premium outfit in the OG trilogy finale)

Yeah this is in Evie's style. Simple, casual, basic jeans-and-tee.

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe. Keep it as is (but also add one or two extra items).

For example, varsity letterman jacket. And the jade necklace from Aiden. This is a possible contender for what I'll headcanon as her fall casual outfit for HSS:CA.

Prospero Costume for the Tempest musical in Book 3

Honestly, she looks pretty cool in this. Kinda badass. It's a bit bulky, but it works. And she'd love the purple colors.

I do however, plan to rewrite a lot of stuff in HSS:CA, including which characters get which roles in the plays. But chances are, Evie's probably gonna stay in the Prospero role.

Verdict: IDK if you're allowed to keep your theatre costumes, but in either case, Evie would enjoy wearing this. Keep it as is.

I like to think this is a good opportunity to elaborate on my MCs' dress styles, and show off some edits :D

Now, let's assess the outfits of OG HSS Book 3 and finish off the wardrobe for Evie Ayana! Well, not quite finish off, as I might make some posts for her in-game outfits in HSS:CA, as well as some bonus miscellaneous outfits I came up with myself for other events in the timeline.

Ch 1: "Cold Shoulder" Premium Starter Outfit

Evie would actually really love this top. Although she is pretty lukewarm/indifferent on bare-shoulder tops, she would totally wear this one, mainly for the fabric texture. However, I don't think she'd be too keen on the necklace or the skirt, though, as cute as the flower embroidery is.

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Alter by replacing the skirt and removing the necklace.

Here's what it'd look like more in her style. I might headcanon this as her casual fit for HSS:CA 3.

Ch 1: "Spring Fling" Premium Starter Outfit

And here we have a reverse situation of the previous outfit. Evie would dig the pants, but not so much the top.

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Alter by replacing the top.

So how about a combination of the two? :3 (Unfortunately the embroidery looked a bit awkward on these pink jeans, so I left it off).

As it is though, I think I'm perfectly happy with using the "Cardi Cute" outfit for her HSS 3 spring casual outfit (or the altered version of the "Bombshell" outfit, but that would mean paying for the original one which I don't quite think is worth the diamonds). Like I said, I might use these altered spring premium outfits for her spring casual outfit in HSS:CA.

Ch 1/2: "World Tour" Premium Outfit

It's not bad, I kind of like the trim design on the skirt. I can definitely see Evie dressing up so as to at least make the Hearst kids' tour fun. Plus, it sort of matches with Aiden's spring casual outfit, being that it's also a light blue button-up and dark blue bottom piece.

Buuuuuut I don't think the skirt is quite her style. It's just a little bit too short, and doesn't really seem "loose and flowy". Plus, she would prefer an outfit with pants for this type of event.

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Alter by replacing (or lengthening) the skirt.

Here's how it would be if it were closer to Evie's style. Plus, a version where the skirt is closer to Evie's style. I tried to make the pants blue-ish to keep that color scheme match.

Ch 3: Baseball Uniform

Jock girls stay winning <3

Verdict: Technically not in Evie's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms at the end of the season, but the point is, Evie would love wearing it. Keep it as is.

Ch 4: "Light it Up" Premium Outfit for the Mitchell's Beach Party

This is gonna sound crazy, but... aside from maybe the arm bands, Evie actually wouldn't mind wearing this. The romper is really nice-looking color and aesthetic wise and it looks fairly comfy.

While it is arguably a bit revealing– namely, it does violate Evie's "no skirts that go above mid-thigh" rule, she probably would be a little more comfortable breaking that rule with a romper dress rather than a regular dress or skirt. Granted though, she wouldn't really wear rompers very often, so yeah.

Also, the necklaces are adorable. I love moon/star shapes and so does Evie.

However it might be a little bit too extravagant for her tastes for what I feel is a more casual house-based beach party.

Verdict: Actually would be a part of Evie's wardrobe. Move the arm bracelets, but otherwise keep it as is (but save for a different event and possibly go with a different outfit to wear to the party).

Evie in the altered outfit, plus the m!MC's version of the romper outfit. She'd also love to wear the replacement outfit for the pool party outfit from Book 1 (it would also match Aiden's outfit, then again I might give him a new beach party outfit too as well as all the other LIs). She'd also be perfectly happy wearing her regular casual outfit to the pool party like everyone else did.

Ch 7: "Key to my Heart" Premium Outfit for Open Mic Night at the restaurant

It's decent on its own, but I don't think it's really Evie's style. I don't think she'd really vibe with keyhole dresses.

Verdict: Evie would not own this. Keep the bracelets, but replace the rest with either her usual casual outfit or her usual semiformal outfit.

For this sort of event, she'd far prefer to wear the "Make a Statement" semiformal blazer outfit, or just her regular casual outfit like everyone else.

BONUS ROUND: Ch 11: Band Concert Outfit

Looks fly as hell. She'd dig it. But she would also think it's kinda dumb that the guys (and Cameron) all wear long sleeves while the girls all wear short sleeves lol.

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe. Keep it as is (for band!Evie AU) (but also give her a long sleeved version, and save both for other events).

Long sleeved version! Though honestly, I'm not sure Evie would have really had much of a preference. She likes both styles.

Ch 12: "Silver Goddess" Premium Prom Outfit

God damn it. The cloth and color of this dress is so damn pretty! But there's no way in hell Evie would EVER wear a dress with a leg slit. She'd feel like... like the exact opposite of a goddess.

Also, why is it called "Silver" when the game file describes it as lavender? Not that it's even lavender anyways, that's clearly periwinkle.

Verdict: Evie would NOT buy this. Perhaps alter later by closing the leg slit and removing the arm band. But even then, it would not have become a part of her wardrobe due to a certain other premium prom outfit option...

For now, here's that one edit I made previously of Aiden wearing the outfit because I like it better on him <3

Ch 12: "Black Tie" Premium Prom Outfit

*inhales*

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

Verdict: Becomes part of Evie's wardrobe and is her official prom outfit for the book. Keep it as is.

Ch 12: "Just Peachy" Free Prom Outfit

It looks pretty nice, I like it much better than the premium prom dress. It's neat and simple, which is something Evie would enjoy wearing. She'd also like the peach color too. Especially considering she likes Aiden's "peach".

Of course, there's no way Evie is giving up that tux. So yeah.

Verdict: Evie would wear this, and it maybe would've become a part of her wardrobe if she didn't already buy the tux for her prom outfit.

Ch 16: "Once a Tiger" Premium Finale Outfit (and carries over to HSS:CA as MC's default outfit for that trilogy if purchased)

Not bad, but why does PB hate putting this MC in tops that are cut below the pants? Also, no thanks to the choker-style necklace.

Verdict: Somewhat part of Evie's wardrobe. Alter by lengthening the top and the necklace.

Here's the outfit more in Evie's style, plus her in the m!MC one because I do think it suits her better either way.

Though in either case, I don't consider it Evie's default outfit for HSS:CA. I'm going to be making a different new set of outfits for that instead, and that will be its own series. Stay tuned.

Now, let's continue the wardrobe for Evie Ayana, and assess the outfits of OG HSS Book 2!

Ch 1: "Make a Statement" Premium Starter Outfit

Very very very so very gender. But Evie would probably like it more as an outfit for semiformal events, or at least special dates with Aiden, rather than as a casual outfit.

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe. Keep it as is (but save it for other events).

Ch 1: "Satin and Leather" Premium Starter Outfit

Evie wouldn't mind this combo and would absolutely adore the jacket, but dress would be too formal-looking for Evie to wear as a casual outfit. Especially not as a winter casual outfit. Might be better off for a chill semi-formal party though.

Verdict: Unsure. The jacket is definitely a part of Evie's wardrobe though, keep it for other potential outfits.

Ch 1: "Let it Snow" Starter Outfit

Absolutely very gender. That style of winter jacket? With purple pants? On point. It looks cozy AND stylish.

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe, and Evie's official winter casual outfit. Keep it as is.

Ch 1: "On Air" Outfit for Tiger News

Evie would absolutely adore the mint-colored blazer, especially with the button-up and the cure flower necklace. The skirt looks nice too, but it's not quite Evie's style– the length and pattern and fabric are great, but it's just a bit too tight for her. Plus she'd far prefer pants.

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Alter by replacing the skirt.

Here's what it'd look like in Evie's preferred style.

Ch 2: Basketball Uniform

Go jock girl go!

Verdict: Technically not in Evie's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms at the end of the season, but the point is, Evie would love wearing it. Keep it as is.

Ch 3: "OMB Tigers" for Winter Carnival

It suits Evie really well and looks cozy too. The "B" necklace is pretty damn cute too. Fuck yes to this. Though she'd be perfectly happy wearing her regular winter casual outfit to the carnival (I mean, everyone else is).

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe. Keep it as is.

Ch 7: "Lavender Princess" for Maria's birthday party

Not bad, Evie would love this color and fabric. But as a whole, it's not quite Evie's style. Too Sofia the First. Maybe if it was more simple with less lace/pattern, and/or maybe sleeveless, she'd like it more.

Also, I feel a little bit icky about MC getting this new special outfit to wear to Maria's birthday while everyone else just wears their hoco outfits. Maria included, even though it's her goddamn birthday. Why is MC getting this outfit that's supposed to make her seem like a "princess" on someone else's birthday??? Like, be for real.

Verdict: Evie would not own this. May need alterations, but for now, replace with a completely different outfit.

Since everyone else wears their homecoming outfits to the party, Evie could wear one of her homecoming outfit options from Book 1 as well. Funnily enough, her official homecoming outfit is altered from the m!MC version of the birthday party outfit (totally just a coincidence).

I also like to think Evie might wear the "Make a Statement" outfit to this. Even though it's supposed to be this formal swanky restaurant, I feel like that outfit would fit the mood much better.

Whatever the case though, I do plan to give everyone else new semiformal-ish outfits too. And who knows, I might end up making a brand new outfit for Evie in that process.

Ch 11: "Clean Sweep" Janitor Disguise

Yeah, the sunglasses are not positioned properly when they put this outfit on MC in the actual game. But that aside, I think the outfit suits Evie well enough, especially the sunglasses (when they're positioned properly of course).

But I don't think she'd wear it, simply because she wouldn't want to waste time changing into a new outfit. That and "who knows when the last time this was washed". But also, she looks really good in it dammit!

Verdict: Keep it as is, but whether or not Evie would wear it is still being decided. Come back to this later.

Ch 14: "Go for the Gold" Premium Outfit for Payton's Winter Party

Hell yes. Evie would love this.

Though I feel like she'd also love to wear the "Make a Statement" blazer outfit to this one again, especially since this is when she becomes official with Aiden. Whether I think she was planning to become official with Aiden at this party or she just kinda decided it spontaneously, I'm still undecided on... but either way, she'd like to look snazzy at this party.

Whatever the case though, I do feel morally obligated to make special party outfits for each of the LIs too because it's only fair. So stay tuned for that.

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe. Keep it as is (but maybe use a different outfit as her official outfit for the party. Or... add a little something...)

Evie can't resist the urge to wear a blazer or a nice jacket to this event. It's good to stay warm, especially since she and Aiden will be going outside in the falling snow at midnight when they become official.

For the second one, yes I did use the jacket from the Tough and Sweet outfit. But I had to lengthen it because putting the short one over this top did not look right.

I can't decide which of these she'd prefer to wear for the party though. I like them both equally.

Ch 14: "Party On" Premium Outfit for Payton's Winter Party

Yeahhhhhhhhhh no. The top has a nice color, but I don't think Evie would care for the upper lace design and would prefer something a little more solid. The skirt has a nice pattern, but is much too short and form-hugging for her.

And those two items together? Absolutely not. Especially not during the goddamn winter lmao. The bracelet is cute though.

Verdict: Not quite a part of Evie's wardrobe. Keep the bracelet for other potential outfits, but alter by making the lace part of the top solid. Unsure about what to do with the skirt; at the very least it would need to be lengthened.

Because of the 30-image limit on Tumblr, the wardrobe for Book 1 had be made into two parts. If you haven't seen it already, I recommend reading Part 1 first. But if you have, then let's continue on!

Ch 12: "Berry Pride" Premium Outfit for the Homecoming Parade

The top is great, but uhh... short shorts are the bane of Evie's GNC woman existence. Also the m!MC version has him wearing cargo pants, soooooo yeah. Not fair.

Unfortunately, buying this outfit is the only way to get that nice yearbook photo with her and Aiden waving from Ms. Maddox's car, so I had to make a sacrifice. Luckily the shorts don't appear in the photo, so I can at least still enjoy it and pretend Evie's style wasn't viciously violated. (Speaking of which, yes I do plan to make edits of some of these yearbook photos for Evie. They'll get a separate post).

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Alter by replacing the shorts.

Here's what the outfit would look like with Evie's actual preferred style of shorts.

Ch 14: "Emerald Fantasy", "Lovely in Lace", and "Off the Rack" Homecoming Outfits

I actually think Evie would like all three of these. They're not fully her style, but they're not something she'd hate wearing either, and they don't violate her skirt preference rules too egergiously.

I tend to pick the green one in some of my main playthroughs for the sake of the color scheme with Aiden in formal outfits (he wears a black suit to hoco, and then at prom I chose the black tux for Evie and he wears a green suit). But the purple one is also really nice, especially as it is a favorite color of hers.

However I do still think Evie would feel most comfortable in the gray free option, even if the color is pretty bland for a homecoming dance. She would probably own a couple of identical dresses with different colors and wear one of those instead, and save the grey one for a more casual chill social event.

Of course, I am still a bit disappointed that we don't get any suit options for f!MC here, like we do in OG's prom, CA's homecoming, and CA's prom. While Evie probably wouldn't mind wearing either of these dresses, I'd definitely have picked the suit/tux option in a heartbeat if they offered it.

Verdict: While Evie would like wearing both of the premium dresses, I'm actually unsure about them being part of Evie's wardrobe. The grey one is definitely part of Evie's wardrobe, leave it as is but also make a couple of alternate versions in different colors. But for her official homecoming outfit, probably replace with a party suit.

Recolored versions of the free dress, so she has some that are both colorful and comfy. I also think these would be really cool at the Retro Rave theme, as that's the homecoming theme she chooses.

And here's a hoco suit for Evie, straight from the HSS m!MC's Book 2 wardrobe. I made sure it was a greenish one to keep the color scheme thing with Aiden.

This is a new series that was inspired by @tveitertotwrites's Outfit Replacements Series.

I like to think this is a good opportunity to elaborate on my MCs' dress styles, and show off some edits :D

First up, we'll be assessing the wardrobe from OG HSS Book 1, for the one and only, my beloved Evie Ayana! However, I've had to make this into two parts because of Tumblr's 30 image limit.

Ch 1: "Sweet Dreams" Pajamas

The pants are nice and 100% in Evie's style. Evie LOVES soft fuzzy textures and loose cozy soft pants.

The camisole top, on the other hand, is... not really her taste. It's a bit too short, and the lace trim isn't quiiiite her thing.

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Alter by replacing the top.

Here's what this outfit would look more like in Evie's style. As well as some alternate pajamas she'd have, because she would absolutely adore those mint-colored smiley-face ice cream pajamas.

Ch 1: "Cool for School" Starter Outfit

Perfect. All the yes. Very gender. Especially the smiley face button and the kitten button. 100%, Evie's fall casual outfit. (I kind of like also that both she and Emma wear tops with horizontal stripes for their fall casual outfits)

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe, and is Evie's official fall casual outfit. Keep it as is.

Ch 1: "Morning Jog" Starter Outfit

Not bad, but the sweater top is definitely far too short for Evie. She doesn't cares much for leggings also, she far prefers slightly loose soft pants.

Verdict: Not quite part of Evie's wardrobe. Alter by lengthening the sweater and stretching the leggings.

Here's what this outfit would approximately look more like to suit Evie's tastes (yeah, unfortunately some of these outfits don't like it when I use the Liquify tool to stretch them). This one, she'd love as an outfit for pajamas, lounging around the house, or for a cool day workout.

Ch 1: "Cardi Cute" Starter Outfit

This outfit truly is super cute, I love the floral pattern and the heart necklace and so would Evie. This is one of the few more fem-leaning outfits Evie would be comfortable wearing– she is okay with skirts or dresses every now and then, so long as A) they're loose/flowy, B) mid-thigh length or lower, and C) absolutely no leg/thigh slits.

However, she'd far prefer this as a spring casual outfit. Something more flowery, light, and carefree like this outfit is far better for spring, both weather wise and aesthetic wise.

Verdict: Part of Evie's wardrobe. Keep it as is (but use it only in Book 3).

Ch 1: "The Bombshell" Premium Starter Outfit

I love this floral print, and so would Evie. But this length of top is not her style, and neither is the choker(?)-style necklace.

Evie doesn't really care for midriff/belly-revealing outfits unless they allow her to put her abs on display (and even then, she's still very picky about the style), and, well... obviously the in-game f!MC sprite does not have abs. PB give us muscular f!MC options challenge (failed).

Of course, even if the sprite did have abs, the top wouldn't really show them. So it's not worth the diamonds to me.

If it was longer? I absolutely would spend the diamonds (though probably for it to be a spring outfit).

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Alter by lengthening the top and making the choker necklace into a regular necklace.

Here's what this outfit would approximately look more like to suit Evie's tastes.

Ch 1: "Dare to be Different" Premium Starter Outfit

Evie would love this shade of blue and definitely would own the necklaces. She might find the flower crown cute (but probably wouldn't wear it much).

However, both the dress on its own and the outfit as a whole are not her style at all. Especially not the yellow leggings. They do not look good with this color dress.

And it feels more like a semiformal/party outfit to me anyways, so yeah. Maybe some other MC I make would like this, but not Evie.

Verdict: Only partly in Evie's wardrobe. Keep the jewelry and the flower crown for other potential outfits, but ditch the rest.

Ch 2: "Summer Fling" Premium Outfit for Brian's Pool Party

NOPE! Absolutely not! The style of top combined with how short it is, is not for Evie at all. And you wouldn't catch her DEAD in short shorts.

She might like some of the jewelry, though. But that's about it.

I could edit or alter this one, by replacing the shorts with jeans and then making a longer version of the top... but even then, I don't think this kind of top is quite her style.

Verdict: Evie would NOT own this. Replace entirely. Keep the jewelry for other potential outfits, but ditch the rest.

The outfit that m!MC gets is much more her style. May not be as attention-grabbing, but it's her way of being the hottest girl at the pool party. Though she would also be the type to just show up to the party in her regular casual outfit. That works just as well too.

Also, here's that edit of Aiden in the outfit again because I like it better on him. <3 <3 <3

Ch 2: Swimsuit

I like this pattern print and so would Evie. And she'd definitely love to wear a bikini to show off her abs. Though... preferably with a pair of swim trunks. That style of bikini bottom is just a HUGE no-no for Evie. I mean, she probably would wear it for comfort, but just underneath her swim trunks

Also, the bracelets... they're cute, but they're a rather odd addition to this outfit. IDK.

Verdict: Technically part of Evie's wardrobe, but needs the addition of an extra piece. Keep the outfit itself as is, but alter by putting swim trunks over the bottoms.

Here's what this outfit would look more like to suit Evie's tastes. Plus an alternate swimsuit that I headcanon she'll wear in other events.

Ch 6: Football Uniform

My baby jock girl in her first uniform. The utter joy expressed in the slow-printing "My first uniform!" text in the scene is so absolutely deserved.

Look at her. So gender. I'm so proud of her.

Verdict: Technically not in Evie's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms at the end of the season, but the point is, Evie would love wearing it. Keep it as is.

The football uniform is, of course, determinant on activity choice. Even though Evie's canon is being a jock in all three books, I'll also review the band and cheer uniforms, because I can.

BONUS ROUND: Ch 6: Band Uniform

So snazzy! In the AU where Evie joins band, she would absolutely rock this outfit. Especially the top.But I don't think she'd like wearing it for the outdoors band practices on hotter days.

Verdict: Technically not in Evie's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms, but the point is, Evie would love wearing it (in the band!Evie AU). Keep it as is.

BONUS ROUND: Ch 6: Cheer Uniform

Evie's going to second Jade Ali on this one: "You won't catch me dead wearing one of those tiny skirts".

Verdict: Technically not in Evie's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms, but either way, Evie would NOT wear this. Alter by replacing the skirt with pants and lengthening the top.

If Evie did cheer (it's not quite her thing, but she isn't completly closed to the idea), she'd much rather wear pants like in the m!MC's cheerleader uniform. But would still want a sleeveless top, to better show off her biceps.

Ch 9: "Eye of the Tiger" and "Hear My Roar" Premium Tiger Mascot Suits for the pep rally

Both of these are pretty good, I think Evie would really dig that white one. But at the same time, I'm not fully sure she would be up to wearing a mascot outfit. She'd be worried about how hot and sweaty it'd get in there.

But at the same time, I also want that scene where she accidentally throws a school logo t-shirt into Aiden's face. Especially since it parallels with a later scene later on in the same chapter where he accidentally hits her with a crumpled up ball of paper.

Verdict: Keep both outfits as they are, but whether or not Evie would wear them is still being decided. Come back to this later.

Aside from the comfy-looking jacket and the cute bow, this just isn't Evie's style (though at least the skirt isn't as small, lmao).

I think she'd also question why no one else in the group can wear a disguise, and would doubt the ability of this outfit to truly disguise her.

So to her, it wouldn't be worth it to wear this. Have Julian be the fake Hearst cheerleader instead tbh. I mean, he did do that in Prime once. It'd be a pretty neat little bonus callback, especially considering the more mature Choices!Julian likely wouldn't be as embarrased about it as Prime!Julian was.

Verdict: Evie would NOT wear this, not even for the temporary questionable disguise. But she would only partly own it. Keep the jacket and bow and maybe alter it for a different outfit (Mia probably would let her), but ditch the rest. Let Mia burn it later lol. Well, after Julian wears it as a disguise.

Now, Max's letterman jacket for the m!MC on the other hand... Evie would still be unsure about being the only one in a disguise and its effectiveness as a disguise, but it suits her much better and she'd be more willing to wear it. I mean, just look at her!

The elephant in the room

As many of you are already aware, there was an art piece by a mutual of mine that whitewashed Bryce. And I reblogged it.

Before I jump into addressing the elephant in the room, I'd like to say that all my friends have expressed my exact thoughts and I won't parrot what has been said already.

Firstly, what I am about to say does not excuse what I've done, but rather explain why I did it.

During September, I warned all of you that my last year of my bachelor's degree was going to be demanding and take up most of my time, and it can be seen in my content drought. These last two months (April till now) have been exhausting physically, mentally and emotionally. When I'm not studying, I'm doing exams, and when I'm not doing exams, I'm catching up on homework and earning points with my teachers and fellow students. All this to the point where everything else my brain does is autopilot. Including reblogging stuff I'm tagged in. I have no energy to look deeply into things. I haven't even read any fanfiction of this or other fandoms. And this autopilot mode led me to reblog said art. I saw it, thought it was cute in my exhausted mind, and simply reblogged it. It wasn't until the mutual who posted it asked me to take it down that I understood what was happening.

Now, onto my second point, I condone any type of whitewashing into the fandom. As a white woman, it is my job to make POC 's lives better and easier in my platform, and I failed. Miserably. Instead of putting it in my drafts and wait to look at it better, I simply vaguely reblogged it and moved on, and I was wrong to do so. However, I know OP, and I know that it wasn't her intention to do such harm knowingly. My thought is that, overly excited for her birthday, she forgot to think through how to direct the artist into drawing a MOC character. Which happened before, and will continue to happen. Not because they purposefully want to whitewash POC's, but because as humans, we are bound to make mistakes. And I hope that we continue to handle this maturely.

To end this statement, I want to apologise to all my POC mutuals who have been affected or offended by me reblogging such harmful piece. My heart broke when I thought of the harm I inflicted, and I wish I could've been smarter about this. I can't promise you it will never ever happen again, but I can promise that I will be more watchful and critical of what I post in here.

I repeat, I am sorry, I made a huge mistake and will do my best to make it up to you. Please stay safe ❤

Outfit Replacement (Red Carpet Diaries Book 3)

I think the book 3 outfits are better than book 1 but not as good as book 2. It also has the least amount of new outfits since some of the outfits are from the previous 2 books.

"Like A Boss":

Now it is not bad, but I don't like the shirt and the belt. The style of the belt buckle is not Brooklyn's style. And the shirt just looks so itchy and uncomfortable. And for the tv interview, I don't think that Brooklyn would wear jeans.

Below is what Brooklyn would actually wear.

"Breezy Beautiful":

The sleeves is what ruins the dress for me. Both with the shoulder cuts and where the sleeve ends.

Below is what Brooklyn would wear instead.

"Vacay Vibes":

The swimsuit itself is not that bad, it could be better without the weird cut outs on the sides of the bottoms. But I don't like the coverup, it's kind of giving robe vibes to me a little.

It also reminds me too much of the female mc swimsuit of Open Heart Book 3, which I also changed.

Below is what Brooklyn would wear.

There is no good photos of the play costume and I think from what is shown, it is fine how it is.

I mean I don't think Brooklyn would wear it like this. She would wear it as a t-shirt without the cutout and have a long sleeve shirt underneath.
