The Doctor looks up at the sky once her past incarnation mentions the space ships. "I think so..." A pause, a frown. Is this an alien invasion? It certainly looks like one. When her past self mentions the town being under attack, the Doctor sighs. "I think you're right. Let's get closer, yeah? See who it is." And then they'll have to figure out how to save the town. And why this problem requires two of them. But all in a day's work, she supposes. The Doctor is always happy to help people out.
The Doctor started to walk towards the site and then noticed several items in the sky. "Are those space ships?" the Doctor pointed towards the sky. Space ships surrounding the area and a fire of some sort was quite concerning. "I think maybe the town is under attack."

"Thanks! I quite like what she's done with herself, too." The Doctor says with a giggle. The TARDIS had redecorated herself while the Doctor hadn't been in it. And luckily the Doctor is entirely happy with the redecoration. She loves it, in fact.
"Great! I'll get you one." She heads to the custard cream dispenser and gets one for Rawya, handing it to her. It looks like the outside of the Doctor's TARDIS. The Doctor then gets a custard cream for herself, popping it in her mouth. "Mmm good." She says with a smile.
"Yeah, why not? I'm sure my friends wouldn't mind. The more, the merrier." That's how the Doctor sees it. And she's certain Ryan, Graham, and Yaz will agree. So she sees no issue with offering a trip to Rawya and her family. When Rawya mentions that they can travel as a family again, except their mother wouldn't be there, the Doctor pats her arm in what she hopes is a comforting gesture. "I'm sorry. Did you lose her in the Time War?" A pause, a kind smile. "I'm certain she's still here, in a sense. Watching over you. And she'll always live on in you and your family."
That's how the Doctor's always dealt with grief. Making the person she's grieving for a part of her, what they would've said and done. That way they may be gone from the world, but they're never gone from her. And so she hopes her words are helpful to Rawya, comforting. The Doctor really wants to help. "What I always do is try to make the people I've lost a part of me. What they would've said and done. That way they're never gone, not really." A pause, a shrug. "Of course, it's not a one size fits all thing, grief. Everyone needs to find what works for them." For Graham, traveling and seeing the universe definitely helps. For the Doctor, too. But Rawya needs to find whatever works for her. And no matter what, the Doctor won't judge her.
"Where would you and your family like to go?" She asks, curious. "Like I said, anywhere, anywhen. Anywhere at all in the universe." The Doctor is happy to offer this to Rawya and her family members. Hopefully they'll be able to find them. If not the Doctor would really feel bad for getting Rawya's hopes up. But she certainly will try her best to find Rawya's family. And that's all she can do in the end.
Rawya was in awe as she glanced around the inside of the TARDIS after she stepped inside. "She's....so beautiful!" She gasped as she admired the ship for her beauties.
When being asked for a custard cream, Rawya turned to the Doctor. Nodding her head with a grin. "Yes, please. I would love one." She replied, following the Doctor towards the console.
Upon being asked to go on a trip with the Doctor, Rawya turned to her with her eyes widen. "You want me to go with you?" She asked in disbelief, but had a huge grin on her face. "That would be so wonderful. Cyrus and Nomad would love to travel. We can travel as a family again. Only..." She frowned slightly. "Mom won't be there."

"Always am." The Doctor reassures Rawya. She will be careful. Always. And make sure that she can come back in one piece. She hugs Rawya back, rubbing her back in what she hopes is a soothing motion for the younger person.
"Good, I'm glad. I'll try not to." The Doctor always worries about those she cares about. But she'll do her best not to worry. For Rawya's sake at least.
She gives Rawya another hug, before breaking away. "Right. Back in a jiff." What even is a jiff? The Doctor doesn't know. But it's an expression she's heard before. So she hopes that it will reassure Rawya that she'll be back sooner rather than later.
Rawya smiled over at her. "Please be careful, Doctor." She wrapped her arms around her, pulling her into a hug.
Upon being asked the question, Rawya pulled away slightly to look up at her. "I'll be alright. Please don't worry for me. I know you said you do." She tried to ensure the Doctor.
