Felix Phoenix character ref. Sheet
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
His design is inspired by great horned owls, I'm hoping to get the next three characters out soon!
Side note: he's Australian
Also, since he is a phoenix he can heat up his body / set his own body on fire, he doesn't do it much but it is an ability he has.

When he uses his power his hair gets brighter as his body temperature rises. So I guess his hair works like a thermometer haha

First Chinese Flying Drone Taxis From EHang Already Available on Taobao - Technology Org
According to Reuters, Chinese drone manufacturer EHang Holdings has starter the sale of its EH216-S model flying taxi on Taobao, priced at 2.39 million yuan ($332,060).

The company received safety approval certification from China’s aviation authority in October last year. This development then marked a significant milestone in its journey towards commercial deployment.
EHang Holdings, headquartered in Guangzhou, previously obtained “type certificate” from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for its 216-S model.
The EH216-S is equipped with 16 rotors and has the capacity to accommodate two passengers, boasting speeds of up to 130 kilometers per hour and a maximum range of 30 kilometers.
Why flying taxis are based on drone tech?
Flying taxis are indeed based on drone technology.
Firstly, they utilize vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capabilities, enabling them to operate in urban areas without the need for traditional runways.
Additionally, flying taxis often incorporate electric propulsion systems, offering reduced noise levels, lower emissions, and increased efficiency compared to conventional engines.
Also, drone technology integrates advanced autonomous flight control systems, including GPS navigation and obstacle avoidance sensors, allowing flying taxis to operate autonomously or semi-autonomously. This enhances safety and reduces the reliance on human piloting skills.
Furthermore, drones are typically compact and lightweight, making them well-suited for navigating tight spaces and congested airspace in urban environments.
The scalability and cost-effectiveness of drone technology also make it an attractive choice for flying taxis. It allows for the development of taxis in various sizes and configurations to accommodate different passenger capacities and mission requirements.
The use of drone technology lowers operating costs compared to traditional aircraft, which makes flying taxis a more economically viable transportation solution.

Testing a flying taxi for Osaka 2025 Expo
An air taxi service set to feature at the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka was tested in Osaka Castle Park on Tuesday, in what the prefectural government says is the first time in the country one of the craft has been piloted from the cockpit. https://japantoday.com/category/tech/japan%27s-1st-piloted-flying-taxi-test-held-ahead-of-2025-world-expo? The “taxi” they tested only fits one person. If…

Flying Taxi - A dream came true
Flying Taxi - A dream came true #flyingtaxi #technology
It is said that to make something in future you need to start thinking from today itself like that only happened yesterday. Now it will not be wrong say that we will upgrade ourselves with the technology or in simple words as we are growing, we are also upgrading our technology. China is making such a big change in technical world that it may be even be without our imagination. With this we can…

what do you think of Corviknight being part of the flying taxi?
I mean, Rookiedee and Corvisquire are common enough in Galar, so it makes sense to use the strong final form of a fairly common bird? It'd make sense the flying taxi didn't only use Corviknight, though, but any bird that was strong enough. Let me see those Unfezant taxis!

US FAA shifts gears on certifying future flying taxi pilots
US FAA shifts gears on certifying future flying taxi pilots
The Federal Aviation Administration said that it had shifted course on its approach to approving pilots of future electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft but does not expect it would delay certification or operational approvals. The eVTOL aircraft have been touted as air taxis that could be the future of urban air mobility. The low-altitude urban air mobility aircraft has drawn a huge…

Here’s a scenario for Phoebe if you’re up for it:
A Tinkaton going after Crowley due to him looking similar to a Corviknight. Or him being stalked/ used as target practice by a group of Tinkatuffs. Both groups do so with the enthusiasm of Rook Hunt.
A random Tinkaton came to the school and darts to Crowley while ignoring the students. Like its a cartoon chase scene, the Pokemon is smashing away while Crowley tries to throw things on it's path to deter it.
The staff decided to have a coffee/tea break before getting Phoebe. Of course, evenif they went to Phoebe they'd graciously indulge in some malasadas and cookies since the housekeeper trio were so kind to offer.
As soon as Phoebe was told of the situation. She can hear Crowley screaming at the top of his lungs somewhere... up high?!
The Tinkaton managed to chase him to the highest point of the school building.
Of course, she's not sending HER Corviknight to fight it off. But she does use Ditto who tricks the Tinkaton into chasing it instead.
Either they send it back to where it came from or Phoebe manages to catch it. She'd be surprised though since she has never seen Paldea Pokemon before and just guessed it.
Now maybe if she did catch it, there's a Tinkaton she has to keep an eye on to make sure it doesn't hurt the Corviknight.

Explaining to someone for what is perhaps the thousandth time why the Giant Eagles not flying the Fellowship to Mordor is NOT a plot hole 🙄 just because you don’t understand the context behind a decision doesn’t mean it’s a plot hole, people. Tolkien thought this through, and even if he hadn’t, there are more than enough contextual reasons as to why it was never an option at all.
