Seeing as Star Swirl shares a similar name and appearance to Strawberry Swirl, I head canon them to be sisters!

Wind Drifter - My Little Pony Flutterpony

I thrifted a G1 for the first time in a while! And it's a pony I've had my eye on for a while, too. She has some "pony cancer" spotting (I don't think I've seen a 2nd wave Flutterpony without it) but it's very light. She cleaned up very well with just conditioner and hand soap.

Maybe I'll keep a look out while I'm thrifting for wings for her, from some other winged creature or toy. That sounds more fun than the soda bottle method. :P

I got two pairs of super sturdy replacement FlutterPony wings to try on my flock and oh my god I'm so happy, I want to buy enough pairs to outfit everyone.

Two ponies traverse the bedsheet region, still used to being on foot, while the mighty Onyx sleeps ominously nearby.

These wings are iridescent sturdy plastic and the same size and shape as original flutter wings! I had some of the Windy wing and summer Wing Ponies as a kid which were basically baby flutter ponies and they did not have the fluttering action plus their wings were just like flat butterfly wings. They were similarly delicate but mine are all still intact from childhood.

I have never gotten to actually flutter a proper flutter Pony with wings in it before though! This is so great :']

G3 Pony 006 - Strawberry Swirl

I struggled a lot with this design. I couldn't decide on how much green or purple to add or if I even wanted her to be a flutter/breezie. All in all, I think it turned out alright.

I wonder if, for your infection au, if there would be a split in those who want a cure and those who don't. And even more of a split on the reasons why

Since this has no gore and blood, and those change are, in their own way, happy and okay, it probably creates split in responses. Maybe with Spike, he's found and taken and used to help. This possibly either makes a cure, or makes things worse as some time magic just now brings in creatures of the past to now. Or chnages more than just ponies. Like the Bushwoolies! As in the original they could talk and had a community, but in G4 they were more like wild animals. So maybe they regain the ability to talk.

Maybe the Breezies become more like the flutterponies, or some ponies become like them, with some help from magic. As the magic could be use to help with a dysphoria some may feel. Like giving some wings, or others a fake horn (like some headband)

Taking the cure, if there is one, surely would split everyone up! If someone is turned completely they are truly changed, no matter how much someone might miss the "old" them. So yes, why would someone, who found themselves in a new, strange world, with ponies that are their friends but really not but somehow finally settled...why would they want to change?

Maybe there are some who cannot handle being in this strange new place with strange new ponies and accept that there is another them happier? but ultimately the infection would drive them to want to stay like that I'd say. (I say as if I don't make the rules haha)

AWw the smol ponies absolutely can get infected in that case. How terrible for them haha

can i request some lyra/octavia, or some lunashy with fluttershy that has deer and flutterpony features?
