Experimenting with even smaller hexagons (for english paper piecing/quilting). I'm literally just going to keep going smaller and smaller. My last finished quilt was made with 3/4 inch hexagons. This size is 1/2 inch (and I eventually want to try 1/4 inch). It's a really good way to use every scrap of fabric and make sure there's minimal waste. I only had a few inches of the floral print but I'm using the solid pink to accentuate the pink within the floral fabric and work within this color scheme. Prepping these paper pieces is just step one, so stay tuned for the rest!

I had a week off my day job so it gave me more time to sew a few more of these pouches. The last fern print ones I made sold really quickly so I made another couple. I also decided to dig around in some of the fabric I've had hanging around and found this sunflower print, which I used to make a couple of large pouches a while ago but haven't ever made any of this smaller size with. These sunflower print pouches have brass zips rather than the silver ones, which match nicely with the print.
I also found some magnolia print fabric which I'll be using to make another couple of these pouches. It's one of my favourites out of the prints I've designs and I haven't made anything using it in a while so I'm looking forward to that.
For now these pouches are all on Etsy here.

At the moment I’ve got one tea towel left in each of these prints. I’m thinking about printing some more in three of the prints but probably not the tulip with the borders, which I’ve got online at a lower price as it’s an older design. I’ve been thinking about printing some with this fern design again as well as I don’t have many green tea towels left at the moment.
Aside from tea towels I am going to finally start working on a new design, which should be more plant based with some floral elements. That may take a while to put together though.
As usual all of these are on my Etsy here, along with my other pieces.
