#realizing now that I entirely covered the biggest one slrifnekrk #but honestly I’m getting rid of a LOT #and I’m v proud of myself!#especially ones that were exclusively gotten bc of dates/anniversary presents #was not easy to part with them #but v much needed to be done #plus it let me finally spray them down one by one #bc my cat has gotten fleas twice and I think this is where the stragglers found her the second time #will I cry listing the other ones for sale/donating them?#stay tuned #mine

(it is actually extremely impressive she managed to catch fleas when she never leaves the house and I leave the house only to take out my bins, and etc etc the list goes on, the vet was impressed with her flea acquiring skills let's put it that way)

#my cats #kiadanta #anyway yeah both the cat and the entire house are getting extensively flea treated #though not with the same products #for obvious reasons #in fact it's only taking so long because my house is inconveniently partitioned #so i need to lock the cat up in a separate ventilated room while different parts of the house get sprayed and aired out #and this must be repeated at least a couple times #because fleas are immune to poison when theyre cocooned so you can only catch the larvae and adults right away #and sometimes the cocoons can last a hecking while #slaps roof of cat / this babygirl can fit so many flea #this is why beans video is delayed btw #anyway other than the fleas the cat is entirely healthy. vet was pleased #and now she will poison any flea that tries to drink from her so that's nice #been enjoying picking dead fleas out of her fur #serves them right for infiltrating the fur of Kiadanta my beloved

idk. i love all animals. well. except for fleas and ticks. sorry fleas and ticks but i cannot stand you and your blatant disregard for the precautions we install to keep you away. the amount of money spent trying to get rid of them is ridiculous. i wouldn't mind them if they didn't come and infest my pets and my home every year. and they bite and it sucks

#so sad that this perfectly socialized and gentle and homable cat will probably never get homed #no shelters no nothing..#in the meantime i'll try to keep her healthy and ask if anyone wants to take a street cat in #i'm gonna try to spray her with flea spray and try yo get her to take a dewormer for starters #but i have no idea how old she is or if she has medical conditions. some patches on her skin feel very rough #feels like ulcers but her fur is not missing at thosr patches #i checked her ears for mites and she's clean!#meanwhile she keeps me company

the fuzzy boy has fleas.

#which is why he was on my pillow #partner sprayed all the soft surfaces in the living room with flea spray and we didn't want the cat sleeping on it #so he got shut in the room with us overnight #very cute! he didn't even leave me when i bonked him by accident

hey if I like put a Kofi link or turned on tumblr tips uhhh would that be pathetic or a waste of time or anything ??? I can't take more commissions bc I still haven't finished the ones from January and my new car but I'm uhhhh. really. struggling right now.

#I've had to spend $50 so far trying tiget rid of a flea infestation bc my cat got outaide for literally less than 10 minutes 2 weeks ago #and it's a rent paycheck so I already only had $60 for gas groceries and any other spending this week #and I'm still struggling to pay off my vehicle registration and a few other fees I had to use my credit card for #I'm #honestly kind of scared bc once the student loan freeze ends #I will literally not make enough to survive #everything sucks a whole lot rn and I've been trying not to think about it too much #but I woke up covered in bites again today after 3 days without any signs of them and I couldn't just #not buy treatment #I got the botanical stuff last week bc it was cheaper but I had to cave and get the expensive chemical stuff since they came back #but the botanical stuff TOO bc I just washed my sheets Thursday and I cant use the chemical spray on them without washing them after and I #don't have money or spoons for the laundromat again

if I have been a little quiet this past week that is bc life is swinging a giant cartoon mallet at my head and cackling like the joker experiencing the adrenaline rush of batman driving the batmobile towards him at 120mph. thank you

#my parents went away on holiday and left me in charge of my siblings and the house #which is fine and has happened before and my siblings are basically adults anyway #but my cat got sick again and had to go to the vet to the tune of hundreds of £#turns out he has a skin condition caused by flea bites which idk how he keeps getting them he is an INDOOR cat #the amount of flea pills i have given him in the past 6 months cannot be good for his health #so ive been spraying the whole house down with flea killer and washing all the bedsheets and laundry on the hottest settings #and then this evening he trotted downstairs with two bald paws where he has LICKED THE FUR OFF and it is raw and bleeding in spots #idk wtf to do at this point #he had another seizure too so his meds need adjusting again #so im going to spend more £££ at the vet #to top it all off i have non refundable coach tickets to visit my dad tomorrow so i kind of have to go #fucking. 8 hour journey. kill me #so my sister is going to have to take my boy to the vet instead and im anxious abt that #my special little boy shouldnt have to go to the scary place without me :(#but anyway losing my mind at the emd of my tether have barely picked up my phone the past few days #like what am i doing wrong does my cat just want to die or does he hate me #one thing after a fucking nother #and i have to go into fucking CENTRAL london tomorrow id rather eat fibreglass insulation xx #at least i get to read while im on the district line my beloved <3 #dogbunni diary log

New glasses!

After pet sitting I took the roas to the nearest Walmart and as I went by the clinic I realized I could go in and pick up my glasses. I was sent the text yesterday they were ready but hardly realized it. I got there just in time, a few minutes before closing, and went out 1 minute before.

i hope online pet help websites weren't lying 2 me & vinegar water is a decent flea deterent because now my house smells like vinegar. & my cat backed himself into a corner because he doesn't like the smell
