I love how Noelle is like, a really strong central character of deltarune, despite only being playable in the second chapter:

the mystery behind Dess and the ripples that left throughout the town

the catalyst for chapter 2

everything about snowgrave route and her being the angel

her mother's the mayor

her father's the one with the emotional story clutch of being in the hospital and close to death

her strained relationship with Kris

her budding relationship with Susie

Like, so far, she's the most "main character" out of the cast, as we're denied knowing too much about what Kris is up to on their own, and Susie hasn't shared a single thing about her personal life.

Ever consider the possibility of a Dess lookalike in a future chapter? Like how Ralsei looks like Asriel? Maybe a Dess knockoff that's the Darkner version of something Dess gave Noelle? Or the wiffle bat? It would be so crazy for Noelle to see a younger version of her sister just waltzing around a Dark World. Maybe in a Dark World in the Holiday house?

Another thing I noticed is that Ralsei seems to be an exaggeration of Asriel's most defining qualities: Kindness, spirituality, guidance...that means a Dess lookalike would probably be very rebellious, recklessly brave, and ultra-protective of Noelle (and maybe Kris too.)

What would this Dess Darkner be called, anyway? Ebedcrem? Eb for short?

The dice brace seems to be a letter-bead bracelet like the kind you make in school. When you equip it to Ralsei, he claims that it spells Friendship.

But when Kris gives it to Noelle in chapter 2, she claims Kris "jumbled it."

If the bracelet said "Friendship" before, that limits the number of words Kris can spell. Kris could not, for example spell "butts" because there is no "b," "u" or "t." Noelle's pretty quiet about which word Kris spelled, which is odd since normally she's quite open about the pranks Kris pulls, so if Kris spelled something mean (like "Perish" or "Nerd") it's odd for her to not elaborate on it, unless it's something that hits really close to home like "RIP Des" but, I don't think Kris would be that mean. However... the Spamton Sweepstakes did give us a pretty compelling solution to this puzzle....

Dess is connected to the phrase "find her" twice. Once on the Dess page which plays the song "findher," and once via the Spamton AMA, as when asked about Dess he says "THAT'S THE ONE THAT [Hochi mama] ALWAYS RESPONDED TO [Fr33 fr13nd f1ndh3r] EMAILS ABOUT!!!" Friendship could be reshuffled to spell "Find Her."

I should really just devote videos to ideas like this but, I gotta make that bread, right?

i think the most interesting part about the title “find her” for the red guitar song is that it implies that it’s not something that will happen. it’s something you have to make happen. like the steps to unlocking a secret boss fight.

maybe it’s steps throughout the chapters. you have to do something out of the ordinary every day. like maybe it’s going to see onionsan, or fulfilling mettaghost’s entertainment request.

it’s just like finding gaster/the mystery man in undertale. you don’t just happen upon a lost girl. you have to go looking for her.

I wasn't going to say anything. I totally wasn't. I was trying so hard NOT to look for connections. But I've watched the "Skies Forever Blue" video over and over, and listened to the song over and over, and something inside kept saying, "It's Deltarune, it's Deltarune, it's Deltarune!" And then Bread posted this and I decided it was time to say something.

For my part, I just kept thinking, "Well, it's about a relationship between a character and a player, that's just Toby's proven style, that's why you see a connection," but I knew all along Toby was hinting at something here, I could feel it.

Anyway, watching the video and looking at the website, I noticed a few things....

Vaguely resembles the DR logo.

Also, I know they're just music notes, but they look like the same kind of notes we see from Sweet Cap'n Cakes in Cyber Battle. That could just be coincidence- I mean, how many different ways can you draw notes in pixel art- but it's interesting.

Uh, why is "[shine on through]" in brackets??? And it's the only lyric in the captions that is in brackets.

Ok, ok, that's probably nothing. That is probably just YouTube closed captioning, which I believe is automatic. In the official lyrics in the description, there are no brackets. It's just that it's freaky to see in this situation. I'll go ahead and toss this one in the [damn garbage can].

BUT, the idea of a heart shining is somewhat reminiscent of the SOUL glowing.

99? Why does this remind me of Chara?

She grabs her throat like she's choking. Or... drowning?

They jumped in the water and it turned into sky? Or maybe "heaven"?

That's the video. Now let's look at the website. HalfBreadChaos covered most of it, but there's a few things I want to point out in the credits section:

Toby is the Annoying Dog. No big deal, right? I mean, that's pretty much just his avatar now.

Why doesn't he actually list his involvement in this project, tho?

Why would somebody choose Flowey for their icon? Especially if this isn't UT related? Wait... wait... wait, wait, wait... Nah, that's silly. Heh, just cuz there's a golden flower in Asgore's bell jar and suspicious-looking vines blocking the bunker door and vines and things in Spamton's basement... Nah, that doesn't mean...

Somebody hold me, I'm scared....

Is... is that the... the "Find Her" guitar???

What. What? WHAT?!?

remember this thing toby said about lost girl

i always wondered what circumstances would cause this obviously noelle-related song to play in scenes where shes not around...

but after chapter 2 and the spampton sweepstakes we can say a few things

considering it seems that noelle's family is going to play a much more important role in the story than i thought, i imagine this song and variations of it could play during important moments with them, where she might not herself be present, but may be the topic of discussion or conflict.

but more notably, i imagine this song will be shared between noelle and dess, the literal "lost girl"

i couldn't say it for certain before the sweepstakes, but the red guitar page playing a file named "findher.ogg" all but confirms that dess is MISSING, not deceased. i imagine lost girl or a variation of it could very well play during scenes with her as well, considering the title. It may truly be dess AND noelle's theme. i think that would be pretty cool
