Will of the Father (redux)

SO WotF came up in conversation last night and I solely blame @autumnslance​for this.  Again.  And with Endwalker, I can actually better iron out aspects--and then since I’ve been toying with the idea of making Mathye a Reaper OOCly so he has a DPS class..

Anyway.

So adjusting some things and considering the headcanon I have for Riven and her crew--Riven’s past-life memories of being Azem just didn’t affect her, it affected Augustine and the others as well, considering that they’d been adventurers by her side back in the Ancient World.  And as they were all in recovery from taking in the tainted Light--memories resurfacing plus almost Lightwarden trauma plus the general PTSD of the First along with Zodiark’s influence...it made for an unholy combination that pulled Riven and the others in. 

Once proud sons of Halone, Mathye and Augustine turned their backs on their goddess and their vows.  Mathye would embrace the void as a reaper, and Augustine would revel in using the dark knight arts to cause pain...

Having just unlocked Sage and Reaper, I appreciate that their first job quest helps you with figuring out the job, instead of pulling a Samurai and throwing you into a fight immediately. However, thinking it was going to be like SAM was, I already did a few duties on the job to practice it. Still, nice to hear the job NPCs tell me how it's supposed to be done, gives me that "yeah, I was doing it right after all :D"
