Fuck it I'm on a skyrim kick again (and by that I'm desperately searching for anything related to the only npc I've been marrying recently) so here's how I think all the Sadri's are related
So canonicaly Revyn Sadri (of Sadri's Used Wares) and Idesa Sadri (the nanny who warns her kid about the dark brotherhood) are siblings, says so right in the games code. Now I like to think that Geldis Sadri (that guy who runs the corner club on the island I can't remember how to spell) is their dad. I have no evidence for this, it's just an idea I like. Now something I have somehow even less evidence for is Feran Sadri (one of the vampires from the vampire dlc) being Geldis Sadri's great uncle or something. No idea how he's related to them, I just like to think that he's an older relative that is basically dead to everyone else.
This has been my Ted talk

More Volkihar Hurt/Comfort. Here’s what happens if you hug them.
Serana: initially tries to push you away, but then holds onto you so tightly that she starts shaking. You feel all of her rage and heartache, all of her fear of intimacy, all of her longing for connection.
Valerica: you connect with her mind and feel a mother’s guilt and heartbreak as she lets you in. She imagines that you are her child, that she can fix you as she combs her fingers through your hair.
Garan Marethi: Does nothing. He lets you hug him, and you just feel his tiredness wash over you. You feel his appreciation, but also his longing to just be left alone.
Ronthil: starts crying as soon as your hands touch him. He doesnt put his arms around you, but he curls up with his hands against his chest and allows you to hold and sway him like a baby. He misses his mother.
Vingalmo: Acts like the hug means nothing to him, like he’s used to it. But he hesitates when you wrap your arms around him. You feel mistrust radiating from him, and when he realises you’re not trying to kill him or hurt him, he melts. He wraps his arms around you and presses his face against yours. His eyes begin to well up, and he scrunches his face up to fight the intensity.
Feran Sadri: He sighs and gives you a gentle squeeze, resting his head on your shoulder. You feel a calm resignation washing over you as your minds connect. A sad sort of understanding connecting you both. He doesnt look you in the eye when you pull away, but he does thank you.

More Skyrim thoughts:
Immediately after joining the Volkihar vampires, two of them sent assassins after me. 10/10 for the perfect drow experience, really makes me feel like I'm just at home.💙
Ronthil sleeping behind the bookcase when everyone else gets a coffin and there are clearly enough for him pushes my 'pathetic wet cat' blorbo button. I may decide to use one of my mods to recruit him as a follower and move him to my castle once this questline is over.
Garan Marethi has peak Kimmuriel energy. He is 100% done with everyone's shit and I am here for it. Can't wait to kill Harkon and take over the castle while wearing the most outlandish and colorful and flashy stuff I can possibly wear. Will he approve? Ehhhh probably not. Will it annoy the shit out of him? Absolutely. What are friends for?
Feran Sadri kinda reminds me of Gromph a liiiiitle bit? I mean, if I really squint... eh. He's an asshole but he's funny. I will spare him when I inevitably clean house at the end of the questline.
Also Hestla's a former Companion! One of these days I wanna write a post about how much more tragic the Companions actually are in Skyrim, since you can run into several ex-Companions and it paints such an interesting and sad picture of the faction. For now I'll just lol at her being like "hahaha the Companions said I'm weak but now I'm a vampire and I'm STRONG!" while knowing that I could kill her with a fucking sneeze.
Serana and Astarion would be so interesting if they got to meet. I'll bet they'd be friends.
Orthjolf and and Vingalmo are assholes, but what else is new? Anyway, they gave me a good laugh with their half-assed assassination attempt, but they're definitely first on my list for when I decide to clean house after getting rid of Harkon. B+ for effort, though, since they did remind me a bit of Menzoberranzan's politics and I really appreciated that.

If your OC talked in their sleep/while dreaming, what would someone likely hear them say?
Tumblr media
Somehow all the ocs I chose is from Skyrim? Huh. I guess Skyrim is a safe place to sleep.
Tumblr media
If I interrupt people's sleep really often they may not find it funny anymore. Luckily it didn't happen that many times.

WIP Day
Tagged by @mareenavee @saltymaplesyrup and @thequeenofwinter don’t think I got to it in time to tag anyone- but if anyone is not tagged, let me know.
“ed water d.” Harkon stared for a moment. “Redwater Den.”
“That was my thought.” Sadri said.
“Feran.” A voice sounded from behind Harkon. He turned and looked to see Merethi staring at his husband. His hair was a mess and his hands shaking.
Merethi was an excitable soul when it came to Sadri. It had taken him a few decades before he had allowed Sadri out of his sight in the Keep, a century before Sadri was able to venture out of the castle on his own.
The recent abduction from the Dawnguard had rejuvenated the excitability, but thankfully he was not as protective. Harkon had let Sadri rest when he was recovered. He could hardly do otherwise, but Sadri was familiar with pain and he had been in the (unknown at the time) enemy’s camp.
Lokir, a fledgling, had rescued him and brought him back to the keep. Harkon had given him the blood for his troubles- and his history matched the description of Harkon’s help, as given by Molog Bal, but something wasn’t adding up.
While Lokir could do no wrong in Merethi’s eyes, Sadri was also wary of his savior. Fura was also a bit put off by the man, though Hestla didn’t really have an opinion. Lokir got along with the rest of the court, but Harkon didn’t particularly care for anyone else’s opinions.

My brain has crossover disease
What is it with me and interpreting completely unrelated characters and organizations by different fandom viewpoints? Seriously.
Malkav: Sheogorath but fangier
Molag Bal: Caine but a total piece of shit about it
Society of Leopold: the Dawnguard but a horrifyingly violent religious cult that doesn’t give a damn about killing innocent people. Also no cool beasties
Serana: straight up Anarch
Lord Harkon: another Prince to kill
The Companions: Garou but not assholes about it
Cicero: Unusually badass Malkavian
Babette: Smol Assamite
Garan Marethi: Tremere but marginally less of a douche about it
Feran Sadri: Tremere but MORE of a douche about it
...yeah those are only a few examples. I have multiple fandom brainrots and now they’re growing into each other...

Ronthil: You're so mean to me sometimes!
Feran: I'm not mean to you, you're just dumb.
Ronthil, to Serana: He's kind of mean to me sometimes. And he says-he says "Dumb... dumb, dumb, idiot." And I look at myself in the mirror and I say "Dumb, dumb, idiot"....
Ronthil, to Feran: You're why I'm insecure!
Feran, not paying attention: Uh huh, what did you say?

Who are Obsidian's friends and/or partner(s)?
Friends:
Obsidian has many friends throughout her life (lives if we're including when she goes to the 2nd era). Just to make it easier, I'll have a list of 4E friends in Skyrim. I'll cover her 2E friends in another post.
-Lydia. Gotta carry each other's burdens. Lydia was the only one who believed in her from the start. They've always had each other's back, even when they fell out.
-Farkas and Vilkas. Even though Obsidian didn't join the Companions, she would sometimes help them with jobs/helping people. At the start of her journey as Dragonborn, they taught her basic fighting techniques.
-Ronthil. Precious elf boi she wants to keep safe. She tries to get him to leave Castle Volkihar, but ends up persuading the other vampires to respect him.
-Vingalmo. These two are as thick as thieves. Even though Obsidian didn't spend much time at castle Volkihar, they became close very fast. Sassy nerd friends, who like to gossip a lot.
- Feran Sadri. She sees Feran as an older brother of sorts, and the feeling is mutual. He was one of two vampires who didn't want to eat her immediately (the other being Ronthil). When first starting to work with the Volkihars, she felt most safe in his company.
-Brynjolf. She doesn't know he is in the Thieves Guild, he's just "The cool guy in Riften"
-Neloth. These two are even closer than her and Vingalmo. Even though their relationship is "strictly professional" according to Neloth, the two like to share a bottle of Sujamma, and discuss Daedric theories. I.E chat shit about the Daedric Princes. She makes a monthly trip to Solstheim to see him (and buy more ash yams that is considered normal for one person).
Falion- These two share similar interests, similar skills and similar stories of how they ended up where they are. She knows she can discuss Daedrology with him, and her secrets will be kept safe.
Partners:
Hefdet (OC): Hefdet is the unbound dremora Phinis Gestor tasks her with getting a sigil stone from. What a better way to meet your future husband than having to beat him into submission. After he gave in, he admired her strength and asked if he could come with her. Hesitantly, she accepted and they began to work together. After a few months, he would do anything to protect her and make sure she was safe. Even though he was a dremora, he felt like he had an extremely strong connection to her. He held people at knife point asked people around Skyrim of what that feeling could be. He was told it was love. By the time Obsidian had killed Alduin, they had built a house together, and were "married" by another daedrologist. Happy couple 10/10
Serena: Obsidian and Serana have a rather odd relationship. When she went to help Serana, she was already with Hefdet. Even though Serana wasn't interested in marriage, she became a part of Obsidian and Hefdet's relationship, even without any of them realising. Both Obsidian and Hefdet love Serana, and they were fine with having an open relationship together. Happy open relationship 10/10
