It’s interesting watching how my drawing and painting skills are transferred to the needle. It’s been a roller coaster of a journey through my art career to get here and I’m so excited to see what the future brings!

Since Instagram is whirling itself down the drain, and tumblr have just announced that they are lifting the nudity ban (!) I am crossing all my fingers that we’re going to see a full tumblr revival and my 11+ years of using the site will finally be put to good use.

Since I’m an apprentice in my career I’m excited to document my tattooing journey through a (hopefully) better platform. I hope to use this as a sort of journal, mostly for my tattooing but I also want to document my adventures and witchcraft practice.

I am super excited about this change as I’ve already seen positive growth in my skills as well as my mental well being! I will continue to make illustrations in conjunction with the tattoo work. I’m hoping this change will allow more opportunity to make personal paintings that reflect me. I am very excited for what is to come.

In honor of breast Cancer awareness month, I thought I would post this picture of an in progress mastectomy piece I am currently in the process of doing. This is a scar cover up as well as a tattoo coverup! Why?? Well as you can see in the second picture, they utilized tissue from her stomach to rebuild her breasts and they just happened to have tattoos! So this is a double whammy!!! I am so happy to be able to do this piece as Breast Cancer is one of those things which has struck my family and my friends (of whom this is one). Its nasty. I am so honored that she is trusting me with this piece!
