Ce boléro est tout rayé de chevrons de piqûres. Le col est en guipure et les petits revers en panne lavande, de même que la ceinture, le retroussis des poignets; le nœud du corsage est de même nuance. Bande dentelée et piquée sur le bouffant de la manche; poignet assorti.

In reply to: Department of the Interior, INDIAN SCHOOL SERVICE, OFFICE OF SUPERINTENDENT. Espanola, N.M. Feb 2, 1904 Mr. C. J. Crandall, Supt U.S. Indian Schools Santa Fe, N.M. Dear Sir: There is no well-authenticated report of a small pox epidemic neared than Antonio and most likely there is no individual case in this vicinity. The Indian Geronimo Tofaya who reported a case Sunday still insists that a Mexican laborer en route home from the infected district stopped in Geronimo's house and that the Mexican had small pox. The Indian has been to me twice to have his children vaccinated. He himself has had the disease. He is one of the people who refused to be vaccinated some years ago and a little later took smallpox. He says he does not know where the Mexican is by this time. The doctor will be here today. I vaccinated myself and the housekeeper yesterday and as many of the children as I could. Very respectfully, Clara D. True.

Toilette de soirée en satin Liberty, fond blanc rayé vert Nil. De forme Directoire, le bas de la jupe est cerclé de trois biais plats formant "volant pèlerine".

Corsage froncé dans une ceinture verte. Le haut est décolleté en pointe au milieu de devant et en rond dans le dos. Ce decolleté est souligné d'une draperie de mousseline de soie. Berthe de dentelle, bordée d'un ruché de mousseline semblable à celle de la draperie et arrêtée de chaque côté sous un nœud de soie verte pareille à celle de la ceinture. Manche bouffante, courte, arrêtée dans un bracelet de dentelle.

Gathered bodice in a green sash. The top has a point neckline in the center front and a round neckline in the back. This neckline is highlighted with a drapery of silk chiffon. Berthe of lace, bordered with a ruffle of muslin similar to that of the drapery and stopped on each side under a knot of green silk similar to that of the belt. Short, puffed sleeve, secured in a lace bracelet.
