I’m going to try and get back to my werewolf au for FC5 because I genuinely miss that fic and I haven’t touched it in so long. Hoping to post a few chapters throughout September and October
I want to get to the point where the OT3 is starting to take shape (or at least that’s my goal)

just some TxL WIPs with work done on them:
The BIG one. Laura and Max fight about the grad school rejection at the lodge and he drives off in a huff, leaving Laura behind for a while until Travis comes along in search of them.
Deputy Laura. This was originally what I had started writing for the TxL exchange back in summer, but it got way too long and i knew i wouldn't finish in time so it got put on the back burner
Werewolf Laura. Laura is the one bitten in the cellar instead of Max and all that could have changed as a result
Werewolf Laura AND Werewolf Travis. Kind of a "almost everyone was bit, no one was cured, and no one died" AU one or twoshot
The Collar Fic. Tay, i know I owe it to you to finish this, and it is high on my priority list and has a lot of progress on it so it's just a matter of focusing on it after finishing the Lodge fic.
Ryan, Laura, and Travis post-canon supernatural hunting squad. I love Laura and Travis duo hunting so, so much, but I truly believe in my heart Ryan is someone like Laura who would want to know what else the world is hiding after finding out the truth that night. I just adore the Finale Trio too so getting them back together and working on hunting down other creatures is an idea i absolutely adore
Timeloop. Laura goes from the end of the night back to that night in June on the 919 several times and tries to redo things multiple different ways with no success. Eventually recruits Travis in the mix after several failures.
Several post-canon one-shots or short fics about life afterwards and how Laura and Travis make amends and heal
And several others that are spicy and don't have too much plot otherwise lmao
Active works that I always intend to finish but have been on hiatus for years:
My Cleon fic. One of my first OTPs and I will always come back to them, I just need to sit down and focus and decide how far the AU went because RE is a HUGE series and idk just how far into the games I would take the idea of Claire and Leon sticking together (Leon isn't working for the gov't if they never catch him and Sherry, so is he BSAA? Is Claire? Does she still go to TerraSave instead? Do they do something else?)
My FC5 fic series. It's always my greatest desire to see this finished, because it reignited my love of writing and i've never been in such a writing-induced furor as I was when I was churning out chapters for it back in 2018. It's actually REALLY far along - i write out of order so I wrote the ending of the next installment a while ago - it's just a matter of going back and patching up holes and trying to get motivated again after illness and personal drama that happened at the time i put it down
#i actually have two other half finished ideas i had for the exchange that also were going to be too long not listed here LMAO#as well as others but that's just a taste anyway#and then other series WIPs. Michelle if you see this i still have 2 Hoff Guy WIPs i return to lmao

Ours
(a continuation of The White Wolf)
Dawn had approached before he managed to catch up to her, the paw prints he'd managed to follow giving way to human footprints. She'd be herself again when he saw her again, and his mind raced with questions only she could answer.
He found her beneath a maple tree, thin, but toned body laying comfortably at the base. The sun that peeked through the trees lit up her pale skin, and it would have been a serene sight to behold, had there not been blood drying on her flesh.
"This ain't gonna do." He said to himself as he shucked off his jacket, blanketing her with it before scooping her up in his arms. She nuzzled into his neck, and something in him growled, soft and low, pleased with the touch.
He snapped back into his own mind, peering around to get his bearings. There was a path leading up to a small house, and he followed it, catching the name on the mailbox out of the corner of his eye. Wolfe, it read. Her house, her land, her territory.
Her door had been unlocked, thankfully, so he didn't have to maneuver much to open it and step inside. It was a well kept place, clean surfaces, neatly folded blankets laid upon the back of the couch. She must not have made it to her bed very often.
That's where he decided to lay her, covering her up with one of the blankets over the back of the couch, draping his jacket over a nearby armchair. He watched her for a moment, her expression relaxed as she slept. She must have really worn herself out last night.
He needed to get her cleaned up, but he wasn't sure how to wake her, if he even could wake her. Coffee? Maybe the smell would stir her awake. He set to work making it, pushing the button to get it started.
"Where the fuck are the mugs?" He asked aloud, looking through the cabinets before he found them, eyes raking over each little unique mug inside. One, black, shaped like a cauldron (Why?) another with a spaceship on it, The Enterprise (so she's a bit of a nerd) and another, plain black with a skeletonized hand giving the middle finger (okay, he liked that one.)
He sat that one out for himself, and another with the word 'Bitch' out for her, finding himself enjoying that her sense of humor made it to her coffee mugs.
She woke soon after, slowly rising and stretching out, the snap, crackle, and pop of her joints echoing into the kitchen.
"How did I get..." She turned, and he gave her a little wave, "Oh, you. Got it."
"You're welcome." He grunted out, hiding a smirk behind his mug.
"Oh fuck you." Adorable, he thought. Last night didn't dull her bite at all.
"You always this sunny when you wake up, or is today special?" That earned him a glare that only softened the slightest bit when he handed over the coffee, the word in the side purposefully visible to her.
"Ha ha, ha ha ha, funny." She gave him the middle finger, guzzling down a piping hot mug of black coffee. Damn, he was almost impressed.
She stood up after, taking a step and wincing in pain, and he sat his mug to the side, eyes raking over her. He noticed fresh blood running down her leg, and worry sat itself in.
"You've been shot, let me look at it." His hand moved forward to move the blanket away, only for her to slap it away.
"I'm fine."
"Drop the tough shit and let me patch you up."
"It's my period, asshole."
He blinked, realization hitting him. Yeah, he had forgotten that was a thing that happened to people.
"Still, we need to get you cleaned up. You're wearing more than just your own blood." He had a awful, nagging need to tend to her. The urge just would not let him go.
"Fine, but you smell worse than I do." She conceded, allowing herself to be ushered into the bathroom. The look on her face, studying him like she was, told him he must have sensed his frustration.
"I told you to let me out."
He went quiet, turning in the faucet to the bathtub, testing the water with his hands. Yeah, she did, but he didn't expect that, what happened. Then it dawned on him, his soldiers were all dead, his family would find nothing but maimed and mutilated bodies scattered around the Veteran's Center. Fuck..
Her hand rested in his shoulder, squeezing gently, grounding him back to the present. He looked up at her, and saw her expression had softened, her eyes fixed on him tenderly.
"What do I do, pup?"
"I dunno, Jake. You can't go back, not for a while."
"And you?"
"We'll figure it out."
He leaned into her, his head resting on her shoulder, breathing her in. Her scent was calming, grounding, steadying, and safe.
She smelled like home.
"Let's get that shower, Red."
"Letting me join ya?"
"Like I said, you smell."
"Shithead," He huffed out a laugh, his clothes joining her blanket on the bathroom floor.
They slotted into the shower together, forgoing the questions for later in favor of the ease of cleaning the mud, blood, and muck off of each other. It felt normal, peaceful even, like it was always this way. Like it would always be this way.
The Beast inside him bristled, rumbling as it stirred into existence.
Ours, it said, she's ours.

For the werewolf au jacob constantly asks for someone to bite him even covers himself in blood whenever anyone changes but all werewolves have a pact both peggies and resistance that noone crosses. Someone had to tie zip kupta up cause they don't trust his ass
The reason none of Jacob's siblings have turned him either would be that 1. John has no self control in his wolf form, so the chances of him biting a very large chunk out of Jacob are high. 2. Joseph doesn't want to do it because he's afraid of accidentally killing his oldest sibling. 3. Joseph won't let Faith bite Jacob, mostly because of the fact that werewolves who spend too long exposed to the bliss basically have a deadlier version of lycanthropy, as the bliss would lower your immune system and the wolf venom would be a more painful experience as you go througb your changes, this would also increase the chances of death as well. Drugs + wolf venom = a messed up cocktail of death.
Also, in some lore about werewolves there's the chance the biten human doesn't take to the wolf venom, their body is allergic to the disease or something. So I'd like to think that Jacob finally managed to get someone to bite him, but all it does is get him sick for a week.
Another funny idea is like how the vampires in the What We Do In The Shadows tv show treat their familiars. Like the other Seeds don't want to turn Jacob because they need someone to chain them up during full moons or someone to pull out the wolfbane plants. Like Jacob turns to his siblings and says "are you gonna turn me now or what?" And the others are sweating and only manage to say "well... if we're all werewolves, who's going to open the doors when a farmer decides to replace the handles with silver?" Jacob just gets pissy after this.

Thanks for sending these in! These thematic asks are a lot of fun!
What mythical creature would they be represented by?
I’ve already associated Blue with werewolves as they have their werewolf AU. But I would also associate Blue with the cryptid, Mothman. Blue was actually born in West Virginia, which is where Mothman originates from. I would also argue that Blue and Mothman are both warnings of future tragedies, with Blue being the harbinger of the apocalypse and Mothman appearing shortly before the Silver Bridge collapse.
Which of the seven heavenly virtues are they associated with? Do they embody that virtue or are they trying to learn it?
I would say that Blue embodies the virtue of kindness. Blue likes to do helpful or charitable things for others without expectation. Besides, Blue feels fortunate that others were kind to them in their darkest times, and they want to pass on that same kindness.
Land, sea, or sky? Of the realms of the world, which one does the character belong to?
Land. Absolutely land. I heavily associate Blue with mountains and the earth.
Are they the sun, moon, stars, or something else in space (black hole, meteor shower, etc)?
The Sun. The Sun often represents life and positivity, both things that Blue tries to emulate. They’re lively, often to the point where they can border on rambunctiousness. They’re also positive, trying to see the best side of a situation. That isn’t always to do, especially in the later events of FC5 for Blue.
