FBoy Island's Cringey Use of Yoga is a Turn Off
I love reality shows as much as the next person. Fboy Island is a parody of the popular show "the Bachelorette". I do not love how FBoy Island misrepresented Yoga as a practice.
I love my daily dose of reality TV drama. FBoy Island is among those gripping social experiment kinds of shows. The hot bods and the everlasting tea this show oozes keep people like me watching.
Something I can’t get behind is the cringe-y use of yoga in this show.
I understand the visual appeal of the kama sutra but taking a sexual knowledge base and meshing it with yoga is insanely weird.

In FBoy Island Season 1, Sarah Emig chose FBoy Garrett Morosky; however, he decided to take the $100,000 and break off the relationship with her. Nikki Glaser put a stop to that and made Garrett donate the money to charity for his Fboy ways. However, when Tamaris did the same thing in season 2, she celebrated. Many fans have a problem with how the twist went down in the FBoy Island Season 2 finale.

other stuff I watched this year: Jury Duty, FBoy Island (Look, my husband and I only watched this one because we know one of the contestants irl 😂), Heartstopper, 911 Lone Star (but only the tarlos scenes + anything else I needed for context 😅), Your Place or Mine (I didn't enjoy this one - sorry but Reese and Ashton had 0 chemistry 😬), The Bachelor Australia (It's my guilty pleasure show 💀 although I hated what they did with it this year 😭)
shows I dropped this year/didn't finish: Never Have I Ever (I only ever watched the first season, then couldn't handle the rest so just watched the end to get closure lmao), Sex lives of College Girls (I loved the first season, and I do intend to watch season 2 eventually but haven't been in the mood for it lately)
currently reading: fanfic as usual
currently listening to: Got Me Started - Troye Sivan (I didn't love the first single, Rush, but it kinda grew on me. I'm liking Got Me Started a lot more though! It feels very different to his older stuff but I'm excited for the new album regardless)
currently working on: been jumping between my Henry drawing and my fake dating fic but then yesterday a Vampire Henry fic idea took a hold of my brain and I spent all day today working on that 😩 never had the urge to write a vampire fic before so I'm surprised at myself - I'm having fun though yay
current obsession(s): RWRB of course, Tarlos and Lamps (I've been obsessively looking for lamps for my living room recently 😂 I have 2 so far but need 1 more!! Haven't found the perfect one yet though)

Some clarification from Warner Bros. Discovery on the whole "pulling shows off HBO Max" thing... Yes, those shows are being pulled off HBO Max, but they will be offered to FAST services (Free Ad-Supported Television). Think Pluto, Tubi, even the ad-supported tier of Peacock. So they're gone from HBO Max soon, but will be back on other services in the future. That said, if you can get them on physical media, that's always your best option.
The shows leaving HBO Max (with no specific new home at the moment) to be offered to FAST services include:
Westworld – seasons 1, 2, 3, 4
The Nevers – season 1
Raised by Wolves – seasons 1, 2
FBOY Island – seasons 1, 2
Legendary – seasons 1, 2, 3
Finding Magic Mike – season 1
Head of the Class – season 1
The Time Traveler’s Wife – season 1
Additional titles being pulled from HBO Max, that are currently in negotiations to be offered to FAST services and potentially others (i.e. on demand services or otherwise) include:
Gordita Chronicles – season 1
Love Life – seasons 1, 2

Warner Bros. Discovery will also announce additional details about its own long-term WBD FAST offering in 2023. Meaning, hilariously, these shows could head right back to whatever HBO Max becomes next year.

last show/currently watching: ive been watching FBOY ISLAND (season 2) all day bc i was just editing photos. i didn't like it when i first started but honestly it's pretty fun. has a pretty good sense of humor & knows that it's completely ridiculous which i appreciate.
currently reading: BOUND by megan derr (second book in a series, gay fantasy war novel, cool worldbuilding but needs another edit & it's not as sweeping as it wants to be) & listening to NOVA PRAETORIAN by nr walker (also gay, gladiator historical. waiting for the real conflict to kick in)
current obsession: oh idk. i'm between them. i've been into collage lately but i don't do it often enough. the other day i glued a bunch of tiny shit (beads, buttons, small jewels, weird trash, etc) to a cardboard letter for something for my day job and that was a TON of fun and i'd love to do more of that but like idk what for haahhaha
