And here it is, y'all! After decades of anticipation, I present to you the collaborative effort Winx Club fantransformation Physix!

I and two other youtube commentors tossed ideas back and forth for this transformation and its lore, and I drew a few transformation concepts for it! Screenshots of the convo under the cut, but I'll give the rundown of my version of the lore here (some of these lore ideas are taken from the comments, but others are my own inspiration):

This transformation replaces Bloomix in season 6. Instead of the Winx losing their powers, their powers are drained. This leaves them not completely powerless, but the way they use magic must change. They must learn to conserve their magic and use spells that don't take up too much of their magic reserve. This leads to a focus on physical attacks that work together with their magic.

How do the Winx learn physical attacks, you ask?

The Trix have taken over Red Fountain instead of Cloud Tower. The Specialists and the Fountain Staff lose their school, and take temporary refuge at Alfea, where Red Fountain and Alfea merge their classes.

This gives us an excuse for the Winx to attend physical combat classes and train with the Specialists, and not just limited their opposite gender interactions to their romantic interests. Here the Winx learn martial arts, self defense, and how to use weapons(Stella uses her Sun Scepter!).

Cue Physix: The result of a magical being combining the techniques and philosophy of Red Fountain Specialists with their individual magic powers. This transformation awards the Winx with extremely heightened athletic abilities specific to their fighting style.

Aisha/Layla gets endurance

Bloom gets evasion

Tecna gets longer flight

Musa gets strength

Flora gets agility

Stella gets speed

Compared to other transformations, Physix allows the magic user to accel in one area of physical strength. This physical strength is unmatched compared to all other transformations, however Physix does not give uniform boosts of physical strength. For example, Bloom excels in evasion, but she does not have the same speed as Stella or the agility of Flora. Physix users get more powerful through increasing their determination, perseverance, discipline, willpower, etc. Common ways to increase these are through practices such as meditation.

As for their designs, each Winx gets elements of Red Fountain uniforms implemented into their transformation, mainly the boots and torso-corset things. In their transformations they get stripes down the sides of their legs, and their transformation takes heavy metaphors for where they draw their magic from. Stella’s bodice silhouette I tried to make in the shape of a star, Aisha’s/Laylas outfit bodice is a seashell and her combination pants and train skirt invoke a mermaid-y mood(though I get she isn’t a mermaid and that she’s the fairy of Fluids/Tides, but her homeland is closely connected to the sea so I made the leap alright).

I’m least confident in the wing designs so here are some alternate wing designs and notes:

This version of the wing design is based off of the Specialists Chestplates. It has ~3 layers, and at rest resembles the Specialists capes. I haven't made up my mind on whether the Winx can fully fly with these wings, or if they can only glide(think Minecraft elytra).

Faragonda Kamel, the Headmistress of Alfea and Fairy of Fairytales. She’s the second oldest of the staff and the strongest. She’s well renowned in the Dimension for her strength, though many doubt her true power, being unable to stop Valtor and the Ancestrals all those years ago.

Griselda Stallard, the Vice-Headmistress and the teacher of Defense and Athletics. Students say she has a heart of steel, but she’s protective of her students and others as the Fairy of Shields.

Palladium Alamilla, the Potions, Natural Magics, and Maths teacher. He tends to be very laidback compared to all the teachers and the one to get in between the fights of students. The first year for the Winx was his first year teaching, returning to Alfea barely thirty-five years after graduating. He’s the Fairy of the Luminous Willow.

Chantal DuFour is the Classical Literature, Spellmaking, Theater teacher. As loud as she can be, she very often just blends into the background, scaring staff and students when making her presence known. She’s the Fairy of the Moon’s Song, surprising many that she doesn’t direct any of the music classes.

Cian Wizgiz is the Transfigurations and Transformation teacher, as well as the overall Magics teacher to the fifth years. He’s the oldest of the staff at Alfea and the Fairy of Metamorphosis. He, with Faragonda’s help, helps run many things around Alfea. Such as the green house and fairy animal sanctuary.

Avalon Caito is the youngest of the teachers, though his face doesn’t show it. He was actually in Palladium’s graduating class and they’ve been close since their final year. Avalon is formally known as the Fairy of the Celestia, the Magic Dimension’s angel equivalent.

Ofelia Fujimori is Alfea’s School Nurse and the Fairy of the Hearth. She was once a holder of a Water Star but to rebalance the Gods’ Magic, was taken. The first time she transformed after that, her wings were extinguished, a side affect from the Water Star being the opposite of her own fire source. She sticks to using her healing source now and hasn’t been much of a fighter in over a century.

I was planning on doing the cybertronians body language or anatomy post first but decided to go with this because the info it provides helps with the other two. its also a lot shorter than the other two so I knew I could get it done a lil faster.
