Item: box of sketchy Ocean State Job Lot acrylic paints, assorted random colors, and a couple of brushes grabbed in haste, in the box the last pair of Docs I wore as a boy (and briefly again as a girl; either it was when my lung was dying or a couldn't pull off the look or both of the two, I don't know, but anyway the soles were worn glass-smooth and I prefer a heel so someone at Savers scored as long as they don't plan on walking on ice), resting on a shelf so monumental in the ineptitude of its construction that no action I can take will ruin it. Item: Thumler rock tumbler full of a few dollars' worth of prettycolored glass from Savers, busted up good and well, just like me, so I can turn these pretty purple fairygift pieces of Mojave Desert glass into mermaids' tears, and someday hopefully work them into a lampshade. Tougher than the Rest (Everything but the Girl).

it was just going to be one ‘ small ’ favor according to santa . well , but the looks of it , santa was a big - fat - phony ! when did it become head - elf business to spy on the nice and naughty list ? but he wasn’t one to ever say no to santa , except that one time ... and that other time . but those were BIG things ! not like now , when a name kept showing up on a list it wasn’t supposed to . he was busy enough as it is , but he wasn’t about to let the big guy down . the only problem is , he doesn’t know what anyone on the list looks like . 

gaze shifts to his bag , fingers pulling at the leather flap before reaching for a card given to him by santa himself . a name written in shiny red ink , an address just below it . eyes narrow as he looks at the door ------ a match ! but now that he thinks about it , he isn’t even sure HOW he’s going to approach this . that is , until a girl comes walking out with a swift determination . he doesn’t miss the opportunity to follow , his senses ringing like a christmas bell blowing in the wind . a face made the moment he realizes how CREEPY he must appear to the stranger . so he changes his approach , shaking his head before quickening his pace to keep up with her .     ❛   HEY , HEY , HEY ! slow down , would ya ?   ❜
