Welcome to Lando’s Boyfriends Buffet, a prompt fest dedicated to celebrating Lando and all of his many boyfriends.
We’re here to share our love for these boys and create some great fics and art.
How to take part?
You can either submit one or more prompts for any Lando pairing you’d like.
/Or you can grab one of these prompts or use our free-for-all prompt if you’d like to go off-script.

Rules
Prompts must include Lando paired up with another canonically male character (genderbending allowed) from F1 or otherwise linked to Lando
Reader/Lando and OC/Lando fics are not allowed
Fics must be over 1000 words. Art is allowed, but it must be a finished piece
There is no upper word count limit on fics, but they must be finished at the time of posting
While it is not required, we strongly recommend fics be beta read
You can leave a prompt without having to fill another one
You are allowed to fill your own prompts and a “free-for-all” prompt will also be offered if you want to create an unprompted work
Multiple fills are allowed, multiple prompts are allowed, and a prompt can be filled by multiple people
All subject matters and ratings are allowed, as long as works are properly tagged
No kinkshaming - this fest operates on the “your kink is not my kink, and that’s okay!” model

Formula 1 Hallmark Fest
Hello one and all! We are delighted to announce the Formula 1 Hallmark Fest, aiming to bring winter cheer and cheesy festive feel-good holiday fic to the masses.
What is Hallmark?
Every year, The Hallmark Channel has their annual Countdown to Christmas celebration. As you can imagine from the title, the movies center around Christmas/winter holiday themes. Hallmark Christmas movies are some of the cheesiest, most nostalgia-evoking films you can imagine. Many of them center around small towns and discovering (or rediscovering) the spirit of Christmas, spending time with family and friends, and finding love in the holiday season!
Hallmark Christmas movies are absurd in the best way, making them perfect for fanfic plots.
How to Join

The Rules
For writers- Minimum word count: 4000 words (and the sky's the limit)
For artists- Minimum art requirements: Lined and colored
Theme: Your work must align with the theme of the fest, that being cheesy heartwarming festive goodness!
Other than that, there are no limits on what you can create! A short, fluffy feel-good fic oozing with tender holiday love? A novel-length fic with an intricate plot and epic highs and lows? A painting of your favorite guys kissing under the mistletoe? A comic centered on holiday misadventures? Your call!

FAQ under the cut! 👇
1. Does it have to be AU?
Not at all! F1 drivers' lives are already so god damn weird that it lends itself perfectly to the sort of over-the-top nonsense that makes a Hallmark movie truly special.
2. Does it have to be romantic?
Absolutely not! Follow your heart <3
3. Does it have to be Christmas specifically?
Nope! At their core, Hallmark movies are Christmas movies, but it's not essential. Any winter holiday, or even just winter in general, can fit the bill. (Or I guess summer, for the southern hemisphere?)
4. Can I do art for someone else's fic?
Yes! Absolutely! We won't be pairing writers and artists (a la Big Bang) but you are more than welcome to find a writer to work with through our fest discord!
5. What happens if I have to drop out?
Nothing! We understand that circumstances can change, and the deadline is long so unexpected situations may arise. If you sign up and find you can't participate, that's fine! Just drop the mods a line, no hard feelings.
6. Does my work have to be completed for me to submit it to the fest?
Given the length of the deadline, we would ask that yes, your work should be finished before posting!
7. Do you accept late sign-ups?
Sure!
8. Do I have to have an idea when I sign up?
No! If the theme of the fest intrigues you but you can't think of what you want to write/draw right off the bat, you're still welcome to sign up! The discord server is the perfect place to workshop ideas with your fellow creatives, and we even have a random plot generator if you need a shot of inspiration.
9. Can I join the Discord server if I'm not participating in the fest?
Yes, absolutely! If you just wanna come hang out, share in the vibes and the love and chat with folks, you are more than welcome to! And who knows, perhaps inspiration will strike you!
10. Why is the deadline so long?
We decided to get started early to give people lots of time to work on their fics! This way, if people want to write proper longfic, there's plenty of time to get it done!

IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!
Priority sign-ups for both writers and artists are now open for the 2024 F1BigBang. The form will remain open until March 30th.
The sign-up form is here.
You should receive a confirmation email in 3 days or so with your writer/artist ID. KEEP THAT EMAIL. It will be needed for the rest of the event.
If you do not receive an email within 3 days, please shoot us message here or on our discord (currently open if you'd like to join!) all we ask if that everyone be a bit gentle ~ the mods are all working full time or in school full time and so we might not respond as quickly as we'd like.
Note: you do NOT have to have completed a work in this fest before in order to participate, and you can participate even if you've had to drop out before. All we do ask that you check the timeline and measure it against your schedule.
Additionally, you need to have an AO3 account to participate in this fest.

A young photographer. The kid looks barely out of diapers.
“You!” Brown roars.
Safe in the knowledge that fresh prey has been spotted, the investigation team creep back to their desks.

Belatedly, my contribution to @thattropeyouhate fest. I took on the prompt "high school AU but one of them is an adult undercover a la Never Been Kissed", which it turns out was from our fearless fest leader @officialmood (thank you for such an excellent fest, it has been a lot of fun!) To up the ante I also decided to take on a new ship AND get into some feeder series antics.
I ended up writing basically up to the deadline with this one, so please forgive any rough patches (but don't worry about pointing them out! Maybe I'll come back soon to smooth them!) Yes, the title is as much about my struggle as it is the boys'.

“Excuse me, could you step aside for a minute.” A voice breaks Pierre out of his internal monologue. He looks up and finds himself face to face with none other than Charles Leclerc.
“No.” The word is out of his mouth before he realises. The guy looks at him in confusion. “I mean. Yes, but…” He tries to save himself from this already awkward moment.
Charles sings and records songs in his bedroom, uploading them to his socials for the world see. One day, his videos show up for up and coming music producer Pierre. When Pierre flies out to get a signature on a record deal, he goes home with a lot more than he initially thought.

“Keke Rosberg. 1982 Formula One World Drivers Champion,” says Seb. The others look at him like he’s just materialized out of thin air. Lewis cocks his head thoughtfully, and the bizarre sleeves of his jacket rustle with the movement.

As it turns out, threesomes are not especially logistically challenging when two of the participants are experienced organizers of high-profile heists, and the third is determinedly horny.
err okay i think this was something i read before i had the concept of sebcedes or like ot3s. so it was a pure yOU CAN DO THAT??? visceral reaction the first time i read on golden sands. i was quaking in my seat. anyway upon sufficient rereads i have apparently collected my thoughts enough to say that the first part of the series is nothing like the second in terms of content (i read all the way to the middle of the ships that go sailing and suddenly realised that it was a sequel and uh. had a very violent reaction.)
the premise is wonderful, oceans 11 is great to begin with and the way every detail is taken care of in the au!! the characterisation of it all... the tangled mess of interpersonal relationship... it feels like every character has their space to shine, and this on top of a quasi-convoluted plot is quite incredible. aND THE SEBCEDES OH MY GOD THE SEBCEDES. the denouement. the start of something that seb can;t even begin to imagine. lewis and nico both being batshit crazy. sex retirement fic. somehow you managed to capture all the nuances (brocedes + seb + the emotional push pull + the competition?? a bit of quiet almost fragile sico? the boat scene hello??? brocedes being so chaotic it gives me whiplash?????) i actually cannot get enough of the way you write them
i can probably write so much more about this but i will stop here :0 maybe one day i will rereview this and end up with a five page essay or something. who knows.

the vibes here are so horrifically good. lowkey unhealthy. probably one of THE defining brocedes + seb fics - it's set up and played out as a 2v1 (in 2016!!), and the toxicity of it all is so asasasandsjfadjsfasdfs . there's so much conflict everywhere: within seb, the way brocedes also fight for dominance on the bed (bc of course they do), seb needing more despite whatever it's doing to him... that scene with kimi is pure poetry. so much to unpack in so little, and excellent excellent sex

“That problem you were telling me about,” Seb says, giving Alex a meaningful look. “I wanted to know if you wanted us to help you take care of it. Lewis and I.”
This isn’t happening. Alex is having the most stressful, least erotic wet dream of all time. Helmut has gotten bored of subtle nudges and has graduated to full-on psychological warfare to get Alex to quit on his own and save the team from having to buy out his contract. Lewis actually did give him a concussion in Austria, and the long-term brain damage is only now starting to set in.
"...You can't be serious," Alex says weakly.
Seb shrugs. “You don’t have to say yes,” he says. “But if you’re just looking to have some fun–it might as well be with people who know what they’re doing.”

I CANNOT BE NORMAL ABOUT THIS FIC LIKE AT ALL??? i have tried so many times
the alex characterisation. the hellhole that is redbull. the exhaustion. so much DETAIL that it's painful to look at
the galex? the galex. oh my god the way it meanders in all the little spaces between alex's frankly ridiculously busy life, the LAYERS. the so much unsaid & the way they dance around each other even in texts. the way alex holds himself back but still wants.
alex/seb. seb being an all round menace to society (Quite honestly, he sort of forgets the conversation with Lewis even happened up until Bahrain, when Seb sidles up to him on some balcony on Thursday and says, casually, “So, gay cruising, eh?”) ?????? ? ? ? ? the perfect timing of seb's proposition. so much else but the deviousness of it all..
that little bit with alex and lewis. the painful awkwardness of that conversation (but also how much lewis eventually got out of it). seb's retirement & lewis' instant protectiveness!! ^^
the racing metaphors are so apt somehow (and even more fitting because alex has basically been consumed by the redbull grind........) this is a detail i personally really really enjoyed
THE SEX bro i cannot even?????? ???? i cannot do it justice here but um. the sewis is clearly there and framed so strikingly against a hesitant tired alex. the games sewis play. LEWIS GUIDING ALEX.SFSHHGSHGHHHHGG the car's still spinning and the walls that don't exist...... how at the end of it all it's still only glimpses of sewis that alex gets but how it's enough for him to maybe start figuring things out with georgie.... the post sex clarity....
oh this was so damn incoherent wasn't it. this fic made me, to quote @kritischetheologie, reconsider everything i thought i knew about alex albon.

“Sorry,” Sebastian says, affecting a suspiciously convincing faux innocence, as if he’s truly apologetic but his hands are simply tied. “Seniority rules.”
closing this with some good achingly wholesome content. FOOD AS LOVE and i am so so so here for it oh my goddddd ... val taking care of sewis and finding the greatest satisfaction from it/it not being always about the sex (though the sex IS good!) and finding contentment in those small domestic-bliss moments/the scene-setting, the food described as lovingly as it's prepared, the quiet early-hour moments and seb in a way the middleground between val's discipline and lewis' indulgence when it comes to mornings... there's so much to just revel in and enjoy here!! a comfort fic in the truest senst of the word. :)

The Fest
This is an event centered around creating Maxiel fic in which either Max or Daniel are pregnant, have been pregnant, or are trying to become pregnant.
The Rules
- Your work must be 1,000 words or an equivalent art piece
- Your work must be centered around the pairing Max Verstappen/Daniel Ricciardo (Maxiel)
- Your work must include some element of male pregnancy (mpreg)

Knight fic snippet
It’s in this strange calm that Pierre comes to his second realization: Charles is beautiful when he fights.
He’s aggressive, relentless, merciless. Every slash is followed by a dozen more behind it, each made with the singular purpose of cutting his foe down, but there’s a certain grace to it that Pierre can’t help but find enchanting. While wild and demonic, he can tell that each and every one of Charles’ movements were calculated down to the finest inch, striving for perfection with every swing and thrust. Pierre would surely be called mad for calling such violence beautiful, but he can’t find any other word to describe it.
It may be strange, but watching knight Charles fight makes Pierre feel the same as he would watching his Charles drive. Now, more than ever, Pierre is certain that this is Charles.
