I suppose it's time for me take over Xelle's blog again. It's not that I'm complaining, though.

12. What is your preferred method of flirting? Are you physical, do you use cheesy but harmless pick-up lines, or are you heavy-handed in your approach? How do they react to being flirted with? If you don’t flirt with them, how else do you (or did you) show them you were interested in them?

For some reason, Xelle hasn't gotten used to my ways of flirting. Even after being married for over a year now, their face would still heat up to the point they look like an actual tomato. I always find it adorable whenever they cover their cheeks or mouth.

Anyway, before we got together, I tended to throw extremely straightforward questions at them. For example, that time when I asked them if they will ever decide to get a lover or spouse. They stuttered a lot. They weren't even certain of their answer.

They got even more flustered when I told them the person they'll marry is already right in front of them. I was partially joking, but I think they took it too seriously and denied it. Well, look at where they've gotten now.

In the present, well, just like I've mentioned before, I'm much better at showing affection through the use of actions. It also applies to my flirting. Though I do like whispering sweet nothings to their ear and randomly complimenting something they didn't even notice, it amuses me when I suddenly touch their body in public. Not in a lewd way, of course. But they get very passive aggressive, and would even pinch my hand to make me stop.

Hm. Don't even dare to ask me what would happen if we were in a private area.

13. What’s a typical conversation like between you and your s/o? Do you both joke around with each other and have inside jokes? Do you swap memes at ungodly hours of the night? Do you get philosophical with each other? Or are you both more likely to quietly communicate with each other, such as with looks and touches?

Usually, we talk about our everyday routine. Just like what we will be having for dinner tomorrow, what kind of new toy we will be buying for Louis, if we need a new toothpaste to use. You know, the typical domestic conversations.

Sometimes, we like to state random facts about our jobs that we're not even familiar of. For your reference, I'm a sailor, Xelle is a baker. I would say something about the stars and how it would help me determining the directions, and Xelle would say how many teaspoons of sugar you should be adding to a cake. Neither of us understands a single thing we're saying, but we both know we're enjoying the time we spend together.

Oh, and of course. We like to talk about deep topics, it just gradually comes by and we wouldn't even notice that we're crying in each other's arms. Xelle looks out for me a lot (even though I should be the one who is doing so, I mean, I do, but I need to let them actually feel it) and they would always ask me if I'm doing okay or not. They also tend to take a look at my scars whenever I come back from sailing. It just shows how much they care for me, and I'm eternally grateful for it. I think this might be because I spent ten years in a manor playing such a deadly game.

What I mean by deep topics, is how we both feel lucky to have each other. They love me, and I love them. It's as simple as that, but it often gets emotional and Xelle would repeatedly thank me for choosing someone like them, someone who was just a passerby. I reassure them that it's not about the status, but because of the attitude they help up instead.

💜 - Tell us about who confessed and how.

Xelle did. I wasn't actually expecting it. We go to this one particular beach to spend time with one another, and one day, while we were talking, they just suddenly started a speech of some sort. Cliché, I know. I just kissed them afterwards.

💗 - When did you realize that you loved them?

When they came back to my office just to give me a slap on the face. I'm being serious. Their sister actually had feelings for me (just like other ladies in town) and they tried to set me up with her. Well, that didn't work. Xelle was the one I was interested in the first place — So, when they came back to my office like that and lectured me how I shouldn't hurt any member of their family at all, that's when I knew I had to capture their heart.

Anyone who'd avenge their family, even in the smallest ways, is a good person to begin with.

💐 - Tell us about a gift you gave to them. Did they like it?

Hm, we're not much of a materialistic couple. The only times when we decide to be materialistic is when we have to provide Louis a new toy (he likes them a lot). But I've given them several gifts, of course. Flowers are expected. I gave them some accessories to wear too (like that one necklace that was supposedly be matching with mine), but they say it gets in the way, which I understand.

But there's this medium-sized treasure chest that I decided to gift them on their birthday. They keep all the things I've given them in there. I think it's cute. They even joked they'll put me there too, haha.

Hi there, apologies for the delay. Something came up. Anyway, thank you for the questions.

❤️ - How do you express affection for one another?

I'm terrible with words, so I mostly show my affection and love to them through actions. That's right, they get showered with lots of kisses, cuddles, head pats and stroking almost everyday. The only time they complain about it is when I do it in front of Louis (better to keep his innocence, they say).

As for Xelle, they're in between with words and actions. But more on words. Just earlier, they kept repeating the phrase 'I love you' to me and that's when I know it's genuine.

💘 - What was your first kiss with them like?

Good. Just.. good. We were on the beach. They were in the middle of confessing but I couldn't restrain myself any longer. Although they were inexperienced that time, I still remember the time I first planted my lips against those sweet, soft ones (they still are). It was fascinating.

💔 - Before you got together, were you ever afraid that they didn’t like you back?

Yes. My personality was, well, not likeable to say the least. I was sarcastic, too straightforward, and an alcoholic. Almost everyone in town liked me because of my looks, so I doubted anyone would have liked me because of my personality. But Xelle came along and proved that wrong for me.

🏠 - Do you live together? What’s it like living with them, if you do?

Yes. I, Xelle, and Louis live together. We built the house several weeks after we got married (we needed our own, so we wouldn't disturb our families). You can expect many things in the Baden household - a young boy who's relentlessly running around, a husband who's also running around and chasing the young boy, and a spouse who was disturbed from their job and had to scold both their son and husband. It's wild in here.

💬 - Tell us a funny story about them!

Haha, we have a lot of ridiculous moments. Just like that one time when we both misheard what we were saying and had to include it in our nickname list. Xelle speaks Tagalog sometimes, so I can't understand a single thing they're saying. I believe they said 'ikaw kasi' but I misheard it as 'hosi'. Well, it sounds similar to my name, so I'm not complaining.

So, I proceeded to ask them if there was a Tagalog term for 'shadow'. They misheard it as 'shanon'. We laughed really hard that night.

Oh, and that time when we went to our honeymoon. I didn't tell them where we were going, so they must have thought I was intentionally going to make them vomit (they have motion sickness). They were angry the whole time we went there, but they eventually softened up and apologized adorably when they realized where we're at. I couldn't help but laugh.

I think it's always funny to see Shanon all pouty and angry. I think it's because they're smaller than me. They're like a chihuahua.

3. Does Y/N have any hobbies you like to watch them do? Or see the finished product?

Yes, absolutely. Xelle does baking/cooking both as a job and a hobby, it's always fascinating to watch their hands move so swiftly with various utensils and materials. I would always catch them working in the kitchen even if nobody has made an order from them. I would usually wait by outside the kitchen until they sense my presence or look up from whatever they're doing. Or, I could just surprise them from behind. That method doesn't usually work, though.

Their food is the best. The best of the best. Anything they cook will surely make everyone's mouths water from how delicious it is.

They also like to read. Especially my poems and letters. They find it quite romantic somehow.

7. AU time! What’s your favorite AU for you and Y/N?

As far as I know, Xelle hasn't thoroughly worked on any AUs yet, but they've proposed some ideas. I believe they are called the Romeo and Juliet AU and the Arthurian Legend AU. I'm not certain of the details yet, but I like the Romeo and Juliet one so far. It's mostly because our roles are switched — I have the role of Juliet while they have Romeo's. I think it's very interesting.

Hi there, you must be Lilac; it's a pleasure meeting you as well. Kryxelle has told me quite a lot about you, thank you for keeping them company in the replacement of my absence.

Valentines Day, hm? I'm actually planning to give them an anchor necklace (so that they can be reminded of me at any time), and while I am fully aware that Kryxelle isn't much of a materialistic person, I want to give them a simple present, at least. The little things matter to me, and I'm glad it's the same way as it is for Kryxelle. Hopefully it arrives soon — the holiday is nearing and I wouldn't want to miss it.

On the other hand, we could also go on a family outing (of course Louis gets to be in it, he's our son) and eat in a restaurant. Kryxelle does the cooking in the house most of the time, so I believe it's time for them to gain pleasure from food they never had to work on. We'd also let Louis explore around and have fun with all the toys he might find; he's still young after all.

And haha, Onion? Is that a new nickname of theirs? If so, it's quite adorable. Thank you for telling me, I have something new to tease them about. Anyway, back on topic, I believe Kryxelle has discussed a similar topic before. Despite my huge vocabulary, I'm actually bad with words. So, to make up for that, I express my love through actions — You know, cuddles, hugs, kisses, head pats (they like this one the most for some reason), and the like. Kryxelle is, well, touch starved, so my way of showing affection has its benefits. Though I do say comforting words to them every once in a while, actions are my strongest suit. Besides, who wouldn't want to kiss such an adorable (and short) person?

My, thank you so much for this. Apparently now is the time when Kryxelle's yearning for me enhances (it is 12am as of posting this). I'll show this to them after I'm done.

I'm going to be completely honest here — Other than the fact that they weren't easily swooned by my looks (and my obvious flirting attempts) when they met me, what slowly attracted me to them was their consistency on trying to get rid of me in their life. Perhaps I saw this as an opportunity to try out something new. They weren't exactly fond of me at first, but I suppose life just decided that we are truly meant to be stuck together. And I'm thankful for it in fact, because I can't see myself loving anyone else but Kryxelle. They are the most wonderful person I've ever met, and I want them to know that they have so much worth than they think. I don't know if Kryxelle has told you anything about our past, but they've helped me a lot too. I honestly have no idea how they do it, but they oversee my flaws and love me for who I really am. I'm such a lucky man, aren't I?

As for my favorite memory — Why would you let me choose? Haha, every moment and second I spend with them is a favorite of mine. This is also me not being able to choose, but there you go, you have my answer.

Alright, this will be the last ask I answer for tonight, thank you to everyone who sent questions.

Okay, well then, how do I even start. I don't usually gush in written form, so this is a little hard for me (it's just like writing poems for Kryxelle, I can't find an idea unless I suddenly have a rush of inspiration). If they find me handsome, then I find them adorable. Especially their height, their little nose rub habit, their ruffled hair, the way their eyes glisten like the night, the fact that they tend to cover their face when they're flustered; it's all so adorable to me. Sometimes, I even worry I'd accidentally squeeze them whenever I give them a hug. They have such a petite figure, I'd be devastated if I were to learn that they've been hurt, both physically and mentally. Kryxelle is amazing and deserving of all things, they're an extremely kind person who won't hesitate to step down their foot if they've had enough. Oh, and their determined and caring personality? God, I could feel myself falling for them all over again. It's almost like the time when I realized that Kryxelle is the person I want to spend the entirety of my life with. They give me motivation and happiness, they've helped me stand up again when days got rough for me, and I don't know if I can ever find another person who does that. So, I'm going to give it my all and love Kryxelle, no hesitation.

Hey Jose! Do you have any plans for Valentine's Day, big or small? :3

Indeed I do, though it's not anything extremely special since we're only going out to eat with our son, walk around near the shore, and then maybe have some quality time once we get home. I'm not seeking for anything bigger, as long as I get to be with my family, then I am satisfied.

Oh, I also mentioned this in a previous post, but I'm planning to gift Kryxelle a necklace. I could have bought matching necklaces for the both of us, but I already have one. It's too dear to me to replace it. But still, I hope they appreciate it, I love them with all my heart and I want them to know that.
