DJ can easily tip the scales of any game taking place within his walls. Y/n rounds a corner and Sun hears a door open and shut. When he rounds the corner there's just a hall of doors, most of them false, some of them opening up to nothing but brick walls with a :P face on them. The moral of the story is don't piss off the mega ghost that haunts your house.

By the time they get to Nueva York, he probably takes her to his facility (which is not as decked out as the one in ATSV) but the hologram surveillance set up does exist, and she makes fun of him and makes a passing comment about how this is similar to her nannycam she set up to spy on him.
