Una parte di me vorrebbe Dagen al Eurofestival così da insegnare la dignita a chi organizza

Un altra vuole Renga e Neck così nessuno lo vedrà e verrà ricordato come il peggior festival

Onestamente sto seguendo Sanremo senza pensare all'Isr*elevision perché ho deciso di boicottare a prescindere da chi ci andrà

Comunque ovviamente l'ideale sarebbe mandarci un Dargen o Ghali (anche se tbh non sono così sicura che accetterebbero)

I RengaNek vorrei che andassero lì ma senza vincere Sanremo, non si può cambiare il regolamento e mandare l'ultimo in classifica invece del primo? No? Peccato

Va beh inutile che ci facciamo film in testa, vince Annalisa facile facile, soprattutto dopo quello che è successo ieri, le varie giurie stanno prendendo le misure per impedire la vittoria di Geolier e quindi è scritto che Annalisa ci rappresenterà all'Isr*elevision

Jamala presents an album dedicated to Crimea together with BBC Orchestra

Ukrainian Crimean Tatar singer Jamala presents her new album QIRIM ("Crimea") together with BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. The live performance will take place on May 11 in Liverpool as part of the British-Ukrainian EuroFestival at Eurovision 2023.

QIRIM includes 14 ancient songs, each of which represents a certain area of the Crimean Peninsula and presents the local culture and language. More than 80 musicians joined the work on the album.

"Today, the language in which the compositions are written is on the verge of death, according to UNESCO. The people who created these records have been under threat of extinction for centuries. But is it possible to erase the memory of the monumental beauty of music, which was passed down from generation to generation?" — Jamala said.

EuroFestival is a Ukrainian-British festival at Eurovision 2023 dedicated to Ukrainian culture. It will take place from May 1 to 14 and will present 24 projects, 19 of which were created in collaboration between British and Ukrainian artists.

As part of the program, you will be able to see several installations of Soloveiko Songbirds, where nightingale figures will be presented in honor of each Ukrainian region. There will also be theatrical performances with the participation of Ukrainian artists, the project-unification of Liverpool and Kyiv ravers Rave UKraine and much more.

The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra is the national British symphony orchestra. It is the main radio ensemble of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and one of the leading symphony orchestras in Great Britain. The orchestra was founded in 1930.

Eurovision 2024: Eric Saade con la kefiah, è scontro con l’EBU

La prima semifinale dell’Eurovision 2024 si è aperta con un numero legato a tre artisti del passato del concorso: Eleni Foureira, Eric Saade, Chanel.

E proprio su Eric Saade si è concentrata tutta l’attenzione, in virtù di quanto accaduto nella sua esibizione in “Popular”, la canzone con cui è arrivato terzo nel 2011 con 185 punti. Sul lato musicale, va rimarcato come la versione messa in scena fosse nuova, e abbassata di un semitono, rispetto all’originale di Düsseldorf (e del Melodifestivalen di quello stesso anno).

Ciò che ha colpito, però. è quello che Eric Saade aveva in mano. Si trattava della kefiah, che si può definire anche kefiyah, keffiyah, kaffiyeh o keffiyeh, famoso copricapo della tradizione araba e mediorientale e diventata, nel tempo, importante anche nel contesto palestinese.

Non si può dimenticare, del resto, che il cantante trentatreenne di Kattarp è di origini palestinesi e libanesi, e per questo sente tantissimo tutto quello che sta accadendo nelle sue terre di origini. Non per caso, era stato particolarmente duro sia prima di essere annunciato come opening act che quando tale comunicazione è effettivamente giunta.
