My Circle of Life
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! I’m Jayrald Benedict Baticula, 15 years of age, and I live in the Philippines, Roxas City, Capiz. It is my first time doing a blog. Therefore, it is my first interaction again on social media after a year. As a grown-up, I don’t have much time and interest in social media (like posting or sharing). I only use social media for communication (chat and call). This year, I’m already in my senior high stage, which means this is preparatory for my college. Thus I have to do my best in my performance and get an average grade essential for college. I have a lot of hobbies and interests too, but it changes as time goes by.
Here are the list of my hobbies;
◼ Home workout – I started doing home workout when I was 13 for the reason that I became conscious about my body. Until now I’m still doing them but often. ◼ Playing online games – Its normal for teens like me to like online games.  For me, online games is one of my entertainment, I play online games sometimes in my spare time. ◼ Cooking – I like cooking. When I was 12, my parents taught me how to cook so that I will not be dependent to others when I grow up.  Because of that, cooking became one of my hobbies. I rarely cook every night when I have nothing to do. ◼ Watching Movies – Watching movies is one of my entertainment. My family also loves to watch movies together. Watching movies is also a family bonding to us. ◼ Loves music – when I was a kid until now, I really love to listen on music. I usually listen to music when I’m doing or not doing something, like cleaning the house or doing school outputs, and taking a nap in afternoon or before I sleep at night.
This year my Interest is...
Tumblr media
I started learning to play a keyboard four months ago. I find this interesting because when I already know how to play a piece, I can play my favorite songs and sing along with them or make a cover song.

Carlyn Endiape 12-Backtesting
Looking back from my past made me realized that I am already far from who I am before and who I am today. I never knew before that my life would be a roller coaster ride, so many ups and downs, struggles and stress but I am still proud that I survived. Growing up with no self confidence and self esteem made my life more difficult. Back when I was a child, I usually don't want to communicate with other people, I only had 1-2 friends that time. I don't know why I am that kind of child but I know to myself that I am comfortable when no one is around.
Because of being afraid to go to school that days, my Mother always got mad at me and push me to go but I always end up being absent on the school days. But my Mother didn't gave up and still push me to go, and as the days goes by, I already adopted to myself that I should go to school so that I had a good grades. When my age became 12-13 years old in my elementary days, I started  developed my self confidence and self esteem. I changed from introvert child to extrovert child. I became an achiever on the school and learned to cooperate with school activities.
I can say that I developed in many ways that time. Having more friends and started to have mutual feelings with other people. It was my most treasured moments because I am a Grade 6 student that time and that was the time that i've meet my Bestfriends and we're still Bestfriends up until now. When I am with my close friends, I am that type of child who is the joker of the circle and considered as the sunshine girl of the group because of my joyful personality and positive mindset.I still remember that every month of May, Me and my Family always go to the Province of Bantayan and meet my relatives.
I felt so happy and excited everytime we go there because it is our family time. Having time with my Grandmother is one of the best memories that I had before. Eventhough It is hard to live because we had no financial stability in our Province, I still wan't to live their together with my Family. My hobbies before is playing and watching movies with my neighbors, just like what other children do when they are still young. Playing some fake money and selling foods with nothing inside is one of the memorable experience that fulfill my childhood days together with my friends.
And when I became a Highschool student, I've meet a lot of people, and it also became my happiest highschool moments. 4 years in Highschool served my self as the guide on how to became strong and matured. When Pandemic happened, I am a grade 8 student that time. And because of pandemic, I experienced a lot of struggles especially in my academic performance because of ECQ. It was so hard for me that time because I only had modules but I didn't had enough knowledge to understand those modules without explanation coming from my teachers.
Studying from home is not a good study habit for me that time, not only because of I didn't learned some of the lessons on the modules but also because I've missed going to school with my friends and had some personal talks with my teachers and classmates. When things  got better and students are already allowed to go to school, I am already a Grade 10 student that time. There are so many changes in the environment and it took me how many months to adjust on the new rules. But still everything goes to normal already after I graduated in Grade 10.  When I started Grade 11 at Asian Learning Center, I am happy and grateful that I choose this strand.
I've meet a lot of people with different point of view in life and saw those people who are strong and motivated  to strive for their dreams. I never experienced pressuring my self before but when I started in Seniorhigh I felt that I need to do my best and make my parents proud. I also felt pressure because in our family, I am the only on that they expected to finish schools and graduate because my sisters and brother already got married and decided to stop their acads. I also realized that I need to choose those group of friends who will help me no matter what happened without plasticity in any aspects. Having those people had a big impact of my life and made my self become more strong to overcome challenges.
And now I am already a Grade 12 student, this school year taught me how time  management is important. So many struggles that sometimes we students ended up going to school with lack of sleep because of academic pressure. I cried so many times in this school year and even doubted my self because of being a slow learner. Anxiety hits me this time but I make it as an inspiration and I know to myself I can do it but I also come up that as a Graduating students and soon to have a more serious life experience in college. The pressure of enrolling college without financial stability and my Parents decided that I should stop my acads here and go find some work to supply our financial needs.
I don't know what path I should choose, Is it continuing college or find some work. I want to continue studying and promise to my self that to be a working student. I witnessed so many students who became a working student and still striving not only for supplying the needs of their family but also for their acads and I make them as an inspiration because I believe that if they can do it, I can also do it.I know that it will not be an easy journey for me,but I need to fight for my future and for my family.

my reflection 1
Creating accounts, making powerpoint presentations, and putting them on platforms like Zoho, Slideshare, Mindmaster, Canva, and Prezi is learning journey. It helps me get better at managing accounts, making content, and understanding digital stuff. It also makes me think more in this area. It can be hard sometimes, like in prezi, but it teaches me to solve problems and make interesting presentations. Using tools i know, like Canva, is easy but using new ones like Mindmaster can be tricky. I had trouble making a PowerPoint in prezi because im new to it, but it’s a great learning experience. It improves my technical, design, and communication skill, which is cool! Creating accounts and making presentations on various platforms like Powepoint, Prezi, Zoho, Canva, Slideshare, and Mindmaster offered diverse experiences. While each had its unique features, adapting to prezi posed a challenge due to its unfamiliar interface. Overcoming the learning curve, I successfully navigated account creation, presentation design, editing and uploading across these platforms.

Capstone Experience
May 16, 2023 So our Capstone Exhibit went like this: We were thrilled to enter the captivating room of St. Mary Magdalene, which proved to be an unforgettable experience. The exhibits showcased within were not only entertaining but also incredibly informative, demonstrating a wealth of resources. The Capstone projects were particularly impressive, showcasing the exhibitors' unwavering dedication and remarkable effort. Moreover, the room's design exuded a sense of joy and creativity, further enhancing the overall ambiance. The warm and inviting manner in which they welcomed visitors added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. We visited the captivating room dedicated to St. Teresa of Calcutta, which had a larger number of groups showcasing their unique capstone projects. Many of these groups impressed us with their beautiful and resourceful exhibits, displaying remarkable effort. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lackluster work of the third group, which seemed devoid of dedication and passion. Despite this setback, the overall experience remained enjoyable, with the room's simplicity allowing the focus to be on the remarkable projects and their stories.
The room dedicated to St. Rita of Cassia captivated us with its remarkable ambiance and impressive display of creativity and organization. Each capstone project showcased the group's ingenuity and innovation, with the solar charging station standing out for its practicality and eco-friendly design. Overall, the experience in this room was delightful and unforgettable, highlighting the power of creativity and organization. <3 As we entered the fourth room dedicated to St. Rose of Lima, we were immediately struck by the evident presence of creativity and effort. The exhibits showcased remarkable resourcefulness, particularly with standout creations like the Moss bag, gloves, and bio pot, which left a lasting impression on me. The presenters demonstrated their mastery in effectively conveying their knowledge and showcasing their expertise in reporting. It was truly a testament to the dedication and skill of those involved, making the visit to the room of St. Rose of Lima both inspiring and enjoyable. Our final destination was the captivating room dedicated to St. Joan of Arc showcasing an aesthetically pleasing design and impressive work. Group 2's innovative twist on the common plant design, with an automatic system following the sun, displayed their ingenuity. However, it was group 3's creation, the Hope Desk, that truly stood out, impressive with its creativity and potential for future use. Overall, the room of St. Joan of Arc left a lasting impression, offering both visual appeal and imaginative projects. Overall, The exhibit was a truly enjoyable experience, filled with valuable lessons and inspiration. We gained a wealth of knowledge and new ideas that we can apply when we embark on our own capstone project in the future. It was an enriching journey that sparked our creativity and broadened our horizons.

"Beauty Fades" For me beauty is just an external quality of a person such as color, texture, and shape that please the easthetic senses. Outer beauty will fade but the inner beauty will stay. Being beautiful in the outside is not the thing, what matter is you need to be beautiful in the inside.
In our modern society the external beauty is more appreciative thing than having a good personality. People now days only sees the external appearance that you have when they see you and not the beautiful soul of yours. Beauty has taken to a different level. Beauty is the standard by which comparison is made. Everyone wanted to have a beautiful outer appearance and being forgotten what's the real beauty is.
Sadly for the generation of this era external beauty is just an outer appearance of the body that changing as the time goes. In reality beauty fades, the inner beauty is much more important because it remains for a lifetime. But outer appearance will vanish with the time passes. Physical beauty attract people for temporary needs and basis, but beautiful soul can attract a person for long period of time.No one will stay if you only have a good look without a good heart. All of young people will age and outer looks will fade but inner beauty will stay the same.

"Etiquette means behaving yourself a little better than is absolutely essential." -Will Cuppy
In movies, especially royalty and fantasy, Etiquette is always taught. No matter at what age, you are expected to be prim and proper. However, that doesn't only exist in those, Let's see how Etiquette can be important to ICT.
Tumblr media
What is Etiquette in the context of ICT?
Etiquette plays a vital role in both traditional societies and online communities, influencing community rules and guidelines that generally align with basic principles. Workplace etiquette within IT environments reflects expected codes of conduct, emphasizing respectful communication and interactions. Employing courteous language, such as "please and thank you," not only enhances workplace morality but also boosts productivity. This practice extends to ICT systems, where positive treatment fosters a collaborative environment, increasing the willingness to assist others or engage in constructive activities.
Netiquette, or etiquette in ICT, encompasses principles for respectful online interactions. While specific academic citations for netiquette may be limited, Virginia Shea's book "Netiquette" offers early insights. Additionally, guidelines from academic institutions, online platforms, and social media policies provide practical information. While not exhaustive, exploring recognized experts, institutional guidelines, and platform rules contributes to a comprehensive understanding of netiquette within the broader context of digital communication and ethical online behavior.
Tumblr media
Now, let's find out why etiquette is important in ICT?
Professionalism: Following etiquette in ICT contributes to a professional and respectful digital environment. This is crucial in workplaces, online forums, and collaborative platforms where maintaining a professional tone enhances credibility and trust.
Effective Communication: Etiquette ensures clear and effective communication in digital interactions. Proper communication etiquette helps in conveying messages accurately and avoiding misunderstandings, which is particularly important in the fast-paced and often text-based nature of digital communication.
Collaboration and Teamwork: In ICT, where collaboration is common, proper etiquette fosters a positive atmosphere for teamwork. Respecting others' opinions, being courteous, and avoiding confrontational behavior contribute to a collaborative and productive working environment.
Conflict Prevention: Following etiquette guidelines helps prevent conflicts and misunderstandings. Clear and respectful communication reduces the likelihood of misinterpretations, disagreements, and potential disputes among team members or online communities.
Client and User Relations: In business settings, maintaining etiquette is vital for client and user relations. Professional and polite communication builds trust with clients and users, enhancing customer satisfaction and the overall reputation of the organization.
Ethical Considerations: Etiquette in ICT aligns with ethical standards, promoting responsible behavior in the digital space. This includes respecting privacy, intellectual property, and adhering to ethical guidelines in the development and use of technology.
Positive Work Environment: Etiquette contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment. Politeness, appreciation, and supportive communication create a culture of respect, motivating individuals and fostering a sense of belonging within the ICT community.
Efficient Problem Resolution: In ICT, problems and challenges are common. Following etiquette guidelines ensures that conflicts or issues are addressed efficiently and professionally. It promotes constructive problem-solving approaches and encourages open communication to resolve issues.
Career Advancement: Adhering to etiquette standards in ICT can positively impact career advancement. Professionals who demonstrate strong communication skills, teamwork, and ethical behavior are often valued and recognized within their organizations.
User Experience: In software development and user interfaces, considering etiquette enhances the overall user experience. Thoughtful design and user-friendly interfaces contribute to positive interactions, making technology more accessible and enjoyable for users.

Then one day they did an operation to remove the stone from my grandmother's liver. Their operation on my grandmother was SUSSESSFUL. My grandmother was okay, but her body was very thin because of her illness. after that they paid for the hospital so they could leave my grandmother and brought her back to the house so she could recover but the grandmother was stubborn telling her not to be happy if she moved or her body could be injured p He was not really there, he told me that we were going to his farm to look at his corn, but I didn't want to go there so he didn't go there, but the day came that we went to his farm to look at his farm. That's my grandmother. She doesn't want it. It's okay with her body and condition, but I don't know that her pain is even worse. It's Araw Big Lake. She's sick again, it's like she's cold and hot, so she's in the finals again. at the hospital because that's where he went national again and he was sick because he was urinating.
until his illness worsened and his grandchildren who were older than me were in the hospital for a long time to take care of him because the minor was at home because of their policy because it was also due to COVID and when did his cousin come home I was the one who hurt him because his son was sick when he came home and they replaced me even though I wasn't allowed they forced me to enter there and I did enter there I saw the situation my grandmother told me that she would have a hard time with her condition and once again he doesn't want to drink his medicine there, we will have a hard time because the medicine might be stacked in his mouth because he will have a hard time swallowing it here, we will have even more trouble and his son from urinating bought medicine because the Lover gave him The medicine is the tablet, the amount is 1k, and the prescription is almost as much as it is on the day of the day, it's too much, and it's the day that my aunt went there to check on my grandmother's condition because the doctor said that you hit, my grandmother got better and once her illness came back, she didn't know what to do with my grandmother
while I was in the hospital, I was witness to the hardships of the old lady who took medicine, walking around the cr, even if it was close to her, she was suffering because of how long she was lying in bed and especially when we were changing her diapers I know that he will suffer but he is still able to handle it for all of us who have children and his app that he doesn't want to be without me but the day came when the lab attacked again the pain he was given when it was like a tube for his urine to pass through and it's bleeding and my grandmother doesn't want to be bothered because it's contagious and my grandmother doesn't want to be like what's up with her because she can hear me but she can't say anything move her head it's like she's gone please but minutes and nmn her condition is okay she can she was able to eat, she was fine, but then her pain attacked again, as if my grandmother did not want to see her again, and at the last attack she was sick, her two children passed by and when they were done My grandmother has stopped visiting as if she were my grandmother and she is just waiting for her children to visit her before she doesn't let go and I know and because of the hiking sandals my grandmother doesn't want to be with you anymore too.
