Kill The Villainess changed my perspective about romantic fantasy isekai manhwas. MC transmigrated to the body of the villainess, Eris Mizelian, of a novel.

Unlike other isekaid characters, she didn't know what happened to her original body and had a hard time adjusting to the new world. She's a modern woman from Korea who had to adjust to a world where people hated her, magic and sorcery are well-known, and she must wear dresses and accessories that she isn't used to.

However, she didn't want to live there even if she had all the money and luxuries that place offers her, she's not the type of character who goes "Whatever! I'll just live here and enjoy my golden spoon!" She's determined to go back to her original life.

Also, what amazes me the most was how the people around her noticed the changes. It always bothered me how the maids who had raised their ladies didn't even got confused by the sudden changes of their attitudes and just shrug it off like it's nothing (like the maids of Ripley's, Sylvia's, etc.) There's only a few chapters yet so I can't wait for it to update, I'm in for the ride!

To sum it all, Eris is just a poor soul, both the old and current one.

You know I really like Chiemi from my otome Isekai.

She's really just a regular person. She doesn't have the best intention all the time, she doesn't want to have responsibility or be noticed in particular. She just want peace. But still she can't just stand there and let awful things happen and her growth is through that, trying to be the main character of her own new life and not just the "best friend of the heroine".

She's more similar to Eris from kill the villainess except my story isn't as angsty.
