Arizona’s legislature is STILL a bunch of anti-constitution religious nuts:
PHOENIX — Calling Satan “an explicit enemy of God,’’ a state senator is pushing to keep displays of him, by any name, off of public property.
Just Satan. Christmas trees and menorahs would still be allowed.
”It is a desecration of our public property in the United States of America and in the state of Arizona for a satanic display, memorial, altar, etc., to be on public property,’’ said Sen. Jake Hoffman, a Queen Creek Republican.
He pushed the measure through the Senate Government Committee Wednesday on a 5-1 party-line vote.
All that drew questions.
”It is because it’s insulting to your religion?’’ asked Sen. Juan Mendez, D-Tempe.
Hoffman said that’s not his motive.
The legal issue goes beyond that.
The Satanic Temple has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a religion and entitled to the same charitable status as any other.
“I am genuinely impressed that in only 25 words this bill seems to violate three separate clauses of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,’’ testified Micah Mangione, an individual who showed up to testify against the bill.
These, he said, are prohibiting the government from establishing a religion, barring government interference with the free exercise of religion, and guaranteeing the right to free speech. He warned the Republicans there are implications for their support of SB 1279.
”If you can go after the Satanic Temple, which is a religion, what about paganism next?’’ Mangione asked. “What about Judaism next? How about Islam? How about LDS?’’
What the legislation does is declare that only Christian values matter, he said.
Hoffman said he doesn’t see it that way.
”It is legally and constitutionally suspect to argue that Satan, someone who is universally known to be an explicit enemy of God, is somehow a religion,’’ he said. “That is an absolutely ludicrous statement to make.’’
Another individual testifying against the bill, Tonia Francis, told Hoffman what he is proposing interferes with her First Amendment rights.
Hoffman disagreed, saying she remains free to practice whatever she wants — just as long as nothing is erected on public property. Any arguments beyond that are off base, he said.
”So you think that it’s both legally and constitutionally OK to argue that Satan … who is universally known to be explicitly the enemy of God, antithetical to God, you think that’s targeting your religion?’’ Hoffman asked.
”Universally known to you?’’ Francis asked.
”To, literally, everyone,’’ Hoffman responded. “That’s not a point that’s debatable. Would you not say that Satan is the enemy of God?
”No,’’ Francis said.
Hoffman called her testimony “disingenuous.’’
Mendez called the legislation “a straight-up attack on the rights of people and religion.’’
Hoffman can’t even imagine that other people don’t believe in his chosen religion’s world view.
And he’s an elected legislator?!?!

There's a problem with how Anton LaVey's Wikipedia article describes his politics, specifically that LaVey was "a member of James Madole's neo-fascist National Renaissance Party."
LaVey was a member of James Madole's neo-fascist National Renaissance Party. Due to Madole's opposition to Christianity, he sought new religious ideas and was attracted to a merging of fascism and Satanism that led an alliance between LaVey and Madole. Black Sun by Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke states, "James Wagner, a former Security Echelon (SE) commander, recalls that relations between the NRP and the Church of Satan, founded in 1966 by Anton Szandor LaVey, were cordial. Madole and LaVey frequently met at the NRP office and in the Warlock Bookshop in New York."
If we follow the citation, it's to "Black Sun: Aryan Cults, Esoteric Nazism and the Politics of Identity (Chap. 4) by Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke (2001, ISBN 0-8147-3155-4)"
But that source in Chapter 4, "Imperium and The New Atlantis" just claims Anton LaVey spent lots of time with James Madole.
In his quest for the pre-Christian, pagan sources of Aryan religion,
Madole made contact with satanist groups, and there was even some overlap in membership between these and the NRP. James Wagner, a former Security Echelon (SE) commander, recalls that relations between the NRP and the Church of Satan, founded in 1966 by Anton Szandor LaVey, were cordial Madole and LaVey frequently met at the NRP office and in the Warlock Bookshop in New York. Madole is said to have erected a large satanic altar in his apartment, and Wagner has confirmed that an image of Baphomet, the sabbatic goat, hung there, and that Madole played LaVey’s recording of the Satanic Mass at several NRP meetings. One NRP bulletin shows a picture of Madole and an SE trooper with the high priest of the Temple of Baal and some female acolytes at their temple. Seth Klippoth, the NRP Michigan State organizer, formed the satanic Order of the Black Ram with some other NRP members “to celebrate the ancient religious rites of the Aryan race.” These contacts between Madole’s occult fascism and satanism anticipated the pagan alliances of neo-Nazis and satanists in the 1990s (see chapter 11).
So, this excerpt doesn't support the claim that Anton LaVey was a member of the neo-Nazi National Renaissance Party; there's no citation with further information in the book, and the subject doesn't come up in the referenced Chapter 11, "Nazi Satanism and the New Aeon", either.
HOWEVER, Jeffrey Kaplan's "The post-war paths of occult national socialism: From Rockwell and Madole to Manson" talks about the same subject, and it includes a letter from Anton LaVey to future Church of Satan apostate/Temple of Set founder Michael Aquino.
Anton LaVey: "I know Madole personally, and have been to N.R.P. headquarters. Even have a card."
Footnote 35: Letter from Anton LaVey to Michael Aquino, 24 June 1974, in The Church of Satan, 3rd edn (San Francisco: Michael Aquino 1993), 270.
This would seem to indicate rather directly that Anton LaVey was a literal card-carrying member of the neo-Nazi group "National Renaissance Party" in the 1970s, in addition to being personally genial with its founder James Madole, and fairly blasé about all that.
None of this is especially surprising.
We've talked before about how the clip of Anton LaVey using all of slurs was fully in line with his life, the people he associated with, and his fundamental philosophy.
To preempt some Church of Satan criticisms, yes, we would like to see a bit more evidence of Anton LaVey being a member of the National Renaissance Party than one stray reference in personal correspondence.
Also: the Wikipedia article should at least cite the right thing.
And as ridiculous as it may be to parse this, even if Anton LaVey was a literal Nazi party member, often agreed with Nazis, adored Nazi aesthetics, complimented fascism, and got along well with white nationalists — that doesn't mean that LaVey was himself ideologically a Nazi.
Ruben van Luijk's "Children of Lucifer" Chapter 8: "Tribulations of the Early Church" gets into this distinction.
Yet the most important reason for LaVey’s affinity with the National Socialists remains without doubt the ideological resemblance they displayed on many points.
Meanwhile, it must be emphasized that this affinity with the radical Right did not mean that LaVey also accepted the racist agenda of Nazism.
Ultimately, Anton LaVey had a lot of weird beliefs, but white nationalism wasn't one of them.
It just also wasn't a deal-breaker for him.
So the fact that fascist movements around the world and in history have been filled by people exactly like LaVey ought to be instructive.

The church lay in complete silence around them, save the sound of the sandstorm raging outside.
Lightning crackled along the planet, lighting up everything with blue and purples in intermittent bursts. Thunder rumbled quick succession, shaking the windows that lay blotted out with raging, yellowed wind.

He never expected Wolfwood's hands to move to his hips, and for a pair of lips to touch his ear, and whisper, "Not officially, but... you can certainly Baptize me, if you'd like."
He'd turned to look at his partner, saw the swirling pits of shadows in his eyes, and immediately understood.
That was how they'd ended up in their current situation.
Wolfwood on his knees in front of the altar, coat thrown across the room, white shirt completely unbuttoned, peering up at Vash like he were looking at the depiction of God, reverence and worship in his gaze and expression. The Lord said to Samuel, ‘Fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have chosen myself a king among his sons.’
Samuel purified Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice. When they arrived, he caught sight of Eliab and thought, ‘Surely the Lord’s anointed one stands there before him’, but the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Take no notice of his appearance or his height for I have rejected him; God does not see as man sees; man looks at appearances but the Lord looks at the heart.’ Jesse then called Abinadab and presented him to Samuel, who said, ‘The Lord has not chosen this one either.’ Jesse then presented Shammah, but Samuel said, ‘The Lord has not chosen this one either.’ Jesse presented his seven sons to Samuel, but Samuel said to Jesse, ‘The Lord has not chosen these.’ He then asked Jesse, ‘Are these all the sons you have?’ He answered, ‘There is still one left, the youngest; he is out looking after the sheep.’ Then Samuel said to Jesse, ‘Send for him; we will not sit down to eat until he comes.’ Jesse had him sent for, a boy of fresh complexion, with fine eyes and pleasant bearing. The Lord said, ‘Come, anoint him, for this is the one.’ At this, Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him where he stood with his brothers; and the spirit of the Lord seized on David and stayed with him from that day on.

Veteran Tears Down Satanic Shrine At Iowa Capitol, Beheads Baphomet
The Iowa State Capitol building is seen on October 09, 2019 in Des Moines, Iowa. The 2020 Iowa Democratic caucuses will take place on February 3, 2020, making it the first nominating contest in the Democratic Party presidential primaries.

A Christian veteran tore down a Satanic shrine and beheaded a pagan Baphomet as part of a display that was set up in the Iowa Capitol building.
The Sentinel outlet reported that Michael Cassidy destroyed and beheaded the Baphomet figure, which had been erected within the structure with authorization from the Satanic Temple of Iowa.
The display included a mirrored, caped figure of Baphomet with a pentagram in the middle and a black and red “holiday wreath” around it.
After destroying the display, Cassidy then reportedly threw the baphomet’s head in the garbage.
The altar was demolished on Thursday, according to Cassidy, in an effort to “awaken Christians to the anti-Christian acts promoted by our government.”
“The world may tell Christians to submissively accept the legitimization of Satan, but none of the founders would have considered government sanction of Satanic altars inside Capitol buildings as protected by the First Amendment,” Cassidy said. “Anti-Christian values have steadily been mainstreamed more and more in recent decades, and Christians have largely acted like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot of water.”
When Cassidy turned himself in to police nearby, the officers inside the premises verified that the Satanic Temple of Iowa was seeking to press charges, specifically a fourth-degree criminal mischief charge.
“I saw this blasphemous statue and was outraged,” Cassidy said. “My conscience is held captive to the word of God, not to bureaucratic decree. And so I acted.”
Cassidy ran for Congress in Mississippi after previously serving as a Navy pilot.
Representative Brad Sherman (R-Iowa) stated in his “Sherman Liberty Letter,” dated December 8th , that the “disgusting display” needed to be taken down right away. He also called “for clarifying legislation to be adopted in accordance with our state constitution that prohibits satanic displays in our Capitol building and on all state-owned property.”
The Satanic Temple also came under fire recently after reports surfaced regarding the group’s efforts to implement an “After School Satan Club” for elementary school students in states throughout the U.S.

Could This Be The Root Of All The Rejection You Have Been Facing ? ... Click To Find Out!
Dear Child of God,
As I was praying for you, God showed me something that's really been used again and again to break your heart. One thing that the spirit of God revealed to me about you is that you don't like rejection. And that's what your enemy has been using against you again and again.
Something that gave me concern is when I saw you in the spirit, working hard and striving to succeed, and I heard a voice saying that your success rate is supposed to be higher than what you are experiencing and that you are supposed to be more worthy. But the issue is that there are things that have been done in secret to limit you so that you can never be more than you can be.
It is shocking to see how the world can be cruel and merciless. Every day I meet and I receive letters from people asking one question, "Why is this person doing this to me after all the good that I did for them?" Others ask "I have never done anyone harm, why would someone do this to me?" Because all your enemies want is you to see their evil, feel their evil and have regret because of evilness.
Did you know that on purpose someone can do things to break the most precious relationship around you? Yes no wonder Jesus said in Matthew 19:12:
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it let him receive it.
Yes, Jesus said that on purpose and intentionally someone can choose to make you single again. Others can keep you and your family single through curses and evil powers that make every sort of relationship you try not to work.
You see life is a collection of relationships. When God wants to bless you he will bring special people into your life as life partners, or business partners, friends, resourceful colleagues or whatsoever capacity you need. When satan wants to destroy you he will take those relationships away or keep them away.
I feel in my spirit that there is somebody that you should have got connected with to help you to get to your destiny, but there are evil powers that have been assigned to keep that person away. I see a demonic road block that has been assigned to make sure you never get connected to that someone who will take you to your destiny.
Many times, I see the powers of darkness have been used to break those resourceful relationships in your life. I see a demonic mechanism designed to keep you in the pond of rejection and misunderstanding. Today that curse must be broken. Today every spell that has been released to keep you single on purpose must be broken in the name of Jesus Christ.
I need you to start praying for those persons who are connected to your destiny, begin to break every demonic blockage that has been erected over your destiny. Begin to take authority over every demonic spell that has been chasing potential relationships from your life, command it to die by fire!
Yesterday there was a powerful testimony from one lady who chose to take that step. She called our prayer line and said that God had revealed to her that she needed to buld an altar according to her age and to break every curse of rejection that had been undermining her progress and blocking her destiny. After she sowed her seed and we prayed with her, I printed her prayer request and in less than 4 hours she called back again with a testimony that she received a phone call from a long-time school mate who had been trying to get a hold of her for years, but every time situations would arise and they couldn't connect. But now as we speak, she has gotten into contact with the person and they are now doing business together.
Another gentleman after sowing his seed through the mail, had a dream where he saw himself as a baby being dedicated at a satanic altar. He saw his family marrying him to water spirits. When he woke up he called his mother to share the dream and she confirmed that that is exactly what his late dad and auntie did to him and that she was forced to be there: that’s why his marriage failed and not a single relationship could work with him. But NOW he is free.
I feel in my spirit, that now it's your turn to turn the tables around. Something is about to change within the next 24 hours. You need to raise up an altar of Breaking The Curse Of Rejection. If You have not yet sown your seed, then You need to do this. It's a seed of release. I feel so strong that as you sow that seed according to the Number of your age, something is going to be released, I see no more delays, I see no more confusion.
As you sow your seed ask God to break every demonic covenant over your life. You can even sow the seed on behalf of your children, your marriage, your husband, your wife, your business, or your career. But believe God and I promise He is going to show up in your life!
People pay thousands of dollars to consult witchdoctors and diviners to tie other people’s future when they can consult the true living God who is all knowing and has the power to bring what he has spoken to pass in your life. As you sow this seed, every circle of problems that has been keeping you from moving forward is going to be broken in Jesus’ name! I declare right now that every spirit of singleness over your life that has been delaying you from receiving your breakthrough is broken in the name of Jesus! Every demonic mechanism targeted towards your life to keep you from fulfilling your destiny I break its powers in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.
Right now as we are getting ready for this weekend, I need you to do the following three things:

And if you have already sowed for yourself, remember you can also sow for your children, your spouse, your loved ones, etc.

Talking about the 3rd mode of having satanic seed sowers on our Altars: God’s messengers, “copying” and delivering “strange” doctrines and practices from “outside” the church.
I should indeed include a 4th source: Adoption of Traditional demonic practices from backgrounds of such Ministers.
But I want us to keep these simple and conclude that the 3rd and 4th are both “infiltrations” from outside, okay?

Gideon, now a man of God but with a background of Baal worship, did almost like Aaron, but his was worse.
You see, he only “displaced” Baal from his hometown and now replaced with an idol he attributed to God, which indeed, was no more or less in practical worship than service to pagan idols.

God was the one who actually told him to build an Altar on this same mountain, but “no image” was supposed to be erected.
We are specifically warned about “images” erected to represent God.

It seems a kind of “sickness”, that because we can’t see God physically, we must somehow “develop” an image for ourselves in church.
Is that not why we sometimes worship our leaders?
Exo 32:1 THE PEOPLE SAW THAT A LONG TIME HAD PASSED AND MOSES HAD NOT COME DOWN FROM THE MOUNTAIN. So they gathered around Aaron. They said to him, "LOOK, MOSES LED US OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, BUT WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HIM. SO MAKE US SOME GODS TO GO BEFORE US AND LEAD US." ERV
Do you see how it seems that the idol was actually made to replace Moses?
The Jews were somehow trying to make Moses that image of God, but they seemed disappointed when he was away for so long, so they were only saying: “we can’t see Moses anymore so let’s make another image”.
Evidently, Aaron was not “worthy” as leader for them so they requested another.
Now if they did that to a Man, it’s simple to imagine, but what happens when they do it to God?

It’s pathetic that because God [our true King] is invisible, we tend to desire something we can “grasp”.
I speak to every church leader here now: you are the visible representative of God.
If they can’t see God in you and they “compel” you to go looking for “models” from outside to come and “feed” to them, they’re saying you are as irrelevant as Aaron, and you admit that when you do “scout” around for them.

Then there always seems to be that issue of Money.
“The people are bringing plenty money to church, so let’s give them something exciting and intriguing so that they’d always be encouraged to give more”.
The issue of “baggage from Background” of “supposed” Ministers of the gospel, who probably never established sound relationship with God, is a “killing factor” of the “God-life” within our Churches.

Many Pastors don’t have the authority of the “WORD” and they lack Faith to declare it boldly.
They can’t see into the “depths” of scripture and “discharge” it’s Power because they don’t know how.
So they commonly scout for “images” of “Great” men, messages and materials from internet to “deliver”.
Isa 29:12 And they GIVE IT TO ONE WITHOUT LEARNING, saying, Make clear to us what is in the book: and he says, I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF WRITING. BBE
Some are very poor in [even] deciphering truth from falsehood.
They just “carry” anything exciting, money making, attractive and popular, bring it to Church and “dump” in the souls of God’s Children.
Then they “see” outrageous behaviors and wonder where it came from.
Well, not from Heaven.
Jas 3:14-15 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, DO NOT BOAST AND TELL LIES AGAINST THE TRUTH. SUCH WISDOM DOES NOT COME FROM ABOVE BUT IS EARTHLY, NATURAL, DEMONIC. NET

TEAR DOWN THE WALLS
“Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.” (Joshua 6: 1)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
The walls of Jericho were not built because of the children if Israel. Those walls existed before they thought of possessing Jericho. Those walls were structures that predated their mission to Jericho. The walls were not built because of them, but the moment they came to possess the land, those in the city shut the gate and locked out the children of Israel. The same wall that was not built because of them began to work against them.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: if there be any wall that was erected before you showed up, tear it down before it stops you. Tear down the walls of opposition against your career progression. Tear down the wicked altars that bear rule in your field of endeavor. Tear down the satanic conspiracies and conspirators that are making a mess of your rising. Tear down every generational disease that existed in your family before you emerged.
There may be satanic traps set for people ahead of you, and somehow those traps are still on your way. God says, tear them down before they stop you. Prayerfully tear down the policies that were made to hinder you. Tear down the haters that have been standing by to ensure that no one rises. Tear down the walls that stopped those ahead of you. Tear down the walls that others had to contend with before you emerged.
If the walls of Jericho were not brought down, they would have remained a limitation for future generations that would eventually come to possess Jericho. If you don’t tear down the walls of negativity, they will haunt your future generations. If you don’t tear down the walls of negativity in your family, career, nation, etc., other people will enter into it in future, and they just might suffer more than you even suffered.
Prayerfully deactivate any negativity the enemy has activated against you and people around you. Negativity will not prevail against you.
2 Corinthians 10: 5 says:
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
Declare With Me: I tear down every wall of negativity against me; no negativity will stand against me, in Jesus’ name!

Connecting To (and Running from) the Horned God

Altar for Horned God
I fell in love with Wiccan-Witchcraft because of the Goddess. I saw her face in the moon, the green earth, and the green waters of the Mississippi River that flowed just a few blocks from my house. When engaged in ritual it was the Goddess I called to, and when I read Witchcraft books I did so in order to draw closer to her. When those books mentioned the Horned God I simply scanned the page, hoping to escape from the horned nightmare in front of my eyes.
I mostly grew up in the American South, and had been active in the Christian Church during my teenage years. By the time I turned twenty-one and had mostly embraced Witchcraft I had begun to realize just how wrong many Christian churches are about a whole host of things, but what if horned entities weren't among those missteps? I thought it best back then to keep some distance between myself and the Horned God in my Witchcraft practice, and if I did have to call to a male deity (shudder!) I decided it would be a more benign solar deity such as Apollo.
We are conditioned from a young age by society to look at horns on human figures with skepticism, contempt, and often fear. In films it's almost always the villain with horns or antlers on top of their head. Popular depictions of the Christian Devil (or Satan) are always horned, despite such descriptions never showing up in the Bible. If an artist wants to suggest a popular figure is greedy, selfish, or overly lecherous, they add horns to the top of that person's head in caricatures. If you were like me when I was younger and a little wary of the Horned God I can't blame you; the conditioning is hard to overcome.
My own relationship with the Horned God began rather unwillingly. I don't want to imply that I was forced into it (I think the Horned God respects boundaries), it's just that I wasn't looking for him. Even more than that, I was often intentionally ignoring him, whether it was in books, the natural world, or in ritual. But there was something there I couldn't ignore; it was like the distant cry of a friend, and it was never ceasing. He was simply always out there, on the edge of my awareness.
After many months of this, I simply shouted, "Pan" during ritual one night, and I felt a new power descend down upon me. I could feel the Horned God's heart for the first time; and it was loving, caring, compassionate, a touch wicked and slightly mischievous, but it certainly wasn't evil. After that night the Horned God became more than a power at the extreme edge of the circle; he became a friend, helper, companion, and guiding force. My Witchcraft practice had been satisfying and empowering before Old Horny, but now it felt even more surefooted.
Who is The Horned One?
I have seen many intelligent and charismatic Pagans, Polytheists, and Witches attempt to define deity over the last twenty-five years. Most often, those definitions have felt incomplete to me. Deity, which I have to assume is greater than we mere mortals, in my mind is absolutely limitless. I truly believe that deity is capable of showing up in a variety of forms, and that those forms will likely vary from person to person. My Horned One may not be exactly the same as your Horned One, and that's OK.
For much of the last seventy years the Horned God has been written about as the consort to the Goddess in Witchcraft literature. In such tales he often occupies a complementary role in ensuring the fertility and abundance of the earth. In artistic depictions of this theme the Horned God is almost always depicted as the manliest of straight men; he sports a beard, a cloak of animal furs, and often an erect phallus. And while it's perfectly fine for the Horned God to do those things and be seen that way, Horn Head is far more complex than that.
There have been horned goddesses for thousands of years. The most famous is probably Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of women, fertility, and the sky. Hathor's head is crowned with the horns of a cow. (Trust me, that was much more flattering 3000 years ago than it is today.) Gay sex was (and is) sacred to the Greek god Pan, and perhaps even more surprising, Pan was sometimes depicted as female in ancient art. The Gaulish-Celtic god Cernunnos also has a female analogue. More and more I find myself using the "Horned They" to signify the Horned One, because the figure can be so complex.
Perhaps the most famous manifestation of the Horned One outside of their more common male form is the goddess Elen of the Ways. Sporting the antlers of reindeer (female reindeer grow antlers in the wild and are the only reindeer to have antlers near Yuletide), Elen has risen from near obscurity to become one of the more popular goddesses of the last twenty years. To limit the Horned God to male genitalia is to limit the power of the Horned One.
The Horned God's most well-known attribute is their connection to the natural world. In many cosmologies the Horned One is a willing sacrifice, forfeiting their life for the fertility of the earth, only to be reborn in the cold of Winter while the ground sleeps. The Horned Ones connection to sex and pleasure is an attribute emphasized by many Witches, but this, too, in its many forms, is a part of the natural world. Though the Horned God is the guardian of the Earth's wild spaces, he also guards the portal from the world of the living to the domains of the dead. Life and death are a part of our existence, and the Horned One keeps one foot (or hoof) in both spaces.
Connecting to the Horned God
One of the most frequent questions I get when talking to other Witches is, "How do I connect with the Horned God?" There is no one way to build a relationship with the Horned One, and how old Horny finds each of us will vary. Many Witches encounter the Horned God in one of their more defined roles, perhaps as Pan, Cernunnos, or Elen of the Ways. Others connect with the greater Horned God figure, whose being spans a variety of specific deities. Traditional Witches often encounter him as the Witch-Father, a figure who has looked out for and guided Witches for a millennium. There is no right or wrong Horned One, only the version that best resonates with you.
As a god of the natural world, I've always found nature the best place to connect with the Horned God. On a still day I can hear his voice in the whisper of the wind or the bubbling babble of a creek or river. Periodically the Horned One's face will appear in the green of the forest, or the sands of the desert. In such instances he speaks to my heart and not my head, and I find myself overcome with emotion.
The more mystical experiences tend to be the exception, and while the feelings may not be as overwhelming, I also feel the Horned One in day-to-day activates. Tending to the garden, I can feel him nodding approvingly in the distance, especially when my hands are covered with dirt. Walking through urban areas, I believe he smiles when I pick up some litter or simply notice the power of nature in the concrete jungle. Life finds a way when a weed finds purchase in a sidewalk crack, and there I see the power of the Horned One reflected back at me.
Stories of Witchcraft rituals in the late Middle Ages and early Modern Period are generally descriptions of empowerment and enjoyment. Sure, there was the occasional tale of human sacrifice (which most certainly didn't happen) but apart from that, the worst that could be said about those sabbat rites were consensual orgies. This is because I believe the Horned One truly wants us to be happy and finds delight in rites of pleasure. Nothing seems to upset certain types of Christians more than people enjoying their sexuality and taking control of their own bodies (this last part applies especially to women controlling their bodies). The Horned One is about sovereignty over our physical form and the joys it can bring.
The Horned One is not static, which is why they have manifested in a number of ways to a variety of Witches. This means Horn Head has grown as we have. Today's Horned God is a god of consent and acceptance. When we treat others with respect, we honor the Horned One.
I believe that relationships between deities and human beings is a reciprocal one. Deity blesses us with its power and presence, and we grow that deity's power and presence by presenting offerings as a way of thanks. An offering does not mean one must give up their rent money or sacrifice an animal in their back yard. It just means that when we have been blessed by the gods, we should thank the gods for those blessings.
Offerings can be physical things. At my house, the most common offerings are wine and whiskey. We sometimes pour those offerings directly onto the earth, and other times place them in chalices specifically dedicated to specific deities. But offerings don't have to just be physical. A poem, dance, or story shared in honor of a figure like the Horned One is also an appropriate offering. As long as what's being offered is heartfelt and honest, it will bring you closer to the Horned One. Pouring a quart of expired milk upon the ground is not an appropriate offering.
The term "prayer" often feels like a dirty word in many Witchcraft communities, but it shouldn't be. Prayer is simply how we speak to deity. Sparing a few minutes a day to thank the Horned One or to ask for a closer relationship is a tried and true way to grow closer to him.
Another way to grow closer to the Horned One is by building him an altar. A Horned God altar does not need to be elaborate; it should simply be a collection of things that remind you of him. My Horned God altar contains several statues, but also pinecones, acorns, stones, and several stuffed (plushie) goats. I use the altar as a focal point when talking to him, and as a way to leave him offerings. When I burn incense upon my Horned God altar I do so as a gift to him.
The Horned One exists in this world and the next. They guard the mysteries of the end and the wonder of beginnings. The Horned God is the stern face of nature, and the laughter at the bottom of a wine glass. Ask the average person about Witchcraft and they very well may mention a horned deity. Ask a Witch about the Horned God and they will tell you about a Friend and Comforter who rules the Wild Spaces.

Blessed Giles of Santarem OP (1185-1265) Dominican Friar, Confessor, Penitent – born Gil Rodrigues de Valadares in 1185 at Vaozela, Portugal and died on 14 May 1265 in Santarem, Portugal of natural causes. Blessed Giles was born at Vouzella, near Coimbra, Portugal, about in 1185. His father was the governor of Coimbra and a Counsellor of Sancho I, the king of Portugal. Although his father wanted Giles to enter the ecclesiastical state and the King was lavish in bestowing ecclesiastical benefices on Giles, while still a child, Giles, however, wanted to study medicine. After some time studying philosophy in Coimbra, Giles left to study medicine in Paris. Blessed Giles was intercepted by a kindly stranger on his trip to Paris, who promised to teach him magic if he would sign his soul over to the devil in blood. Blessed Giles, the legend continues, signed away his soul and studied magic for seven years before going to Paris where he excelled in his medical studies and was noted for many fantastic cures. However, we know that at some point Blessed Giles reformed his life and repented. He returned to Portugal and took the Dominican habit in at a newly erected convent in Palencia in about 1224. Shortly after arriving in Palencia, his Dominican superiors sent Blessed Giles to the Dominican convent at Scallabis, present-day Santarem, Portugal. There he led a life of prayer and penance and for seven years was tormented about the compact he had entered into with the devil. However, according to Blessed Giles’ biographer, finally, Satan was compelled to surrender Giles’ soul and placed the compact he had signed before the Altar of the Blessed Virgin. After this experience, Giles returned to Paris to study theology. On his second return to Portugal, he became famous for his piety and learning. He was twice elected provincial of the Dominican Order in Spain. Noted for his humble service to his brethren, he died at Santarem on 14 May 1265. CLASSICAL SATANISM TEXT 3 Erecting The Altar Of Satan
The Satanic Altar should be erected in preparation before all Satanic Practices, there is no correct way to set up the Altar written in stone, neither is there any Ritual Tools that are prevalent in all Satanic Systems of Magickal Working.
What is put forth here is a suggestion of how the Altar could be set up and the Ritual Implements indicated are those that will be needed for the Ritual Workings and Black Arts contained within this Book.
The Altar is often an item of everyday furniture for most people transformed in appearance by it being covered with a Black Altar Cloth, the best form of Altar Cloth is completely Black although it is feasible that it may be adorned with a hand sewn Inverted Pentagram or Inverted Cross, but not the famed Baphomet symbol which has now become way to connected with Atheistic Satanism.
At the back corners of the Altar to either end should be two Candles Holders bearing Candles (preferably of Black or Red but if not Ivory hue), at the center of the Altar at the back may be the Black Mirror or an Obsidian Crystal Ball which shall be utilized throughout various Infernal Workings.
At the center of the Altar at the front should be The Satanic Pentacle, this may be forged from Wood, Iron, Brass, Pewter or Copper and have painted/inscribed upon it an encircled Inverted Pentagram.
To the left of The Satanic Pentacle should lie the Satanist’s Handwritten Grimoire and to the right of it a Candle Snuffer for extinguishing Candles at the end of the Workings.
A Dish or Bowl of Metal should be present for the burning of certain items as should be an Oil/Incenser Burner for the burning of certain conducive aromatics.
A third Candle Holder and Candle should be placed upon the Altar also, preferably behind the Pentacle and in front of the Mirror/Ball and this is to be lit in honour of the Demon or Demons that are being summoned in the Working to be performed.
Other items which may be upon the Altar are a Tool of Divination such as the Tarot or Runes, a small wooden or metal bowl for keeping loose incense or other items and any Parchment Sigils which may be required for the Workings.
If Scrying Workings are to take place using other than the Obsidian Ball or Black Mirror then the Scrying Tool should also be present and if the Satanist so wishes a Journal and Pen for making note of messages and visions that may be obtained.
Incenses or Oils suitable for burning are Oak, Pine, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Sulfur or Tobacco.
Sufficient lighting will be required around the Ritual Working area also, so either additional Candle Holders or Candle Sconces holding the necessary Candles.
Of cause there shall be Workings within the system of Satanic Black Magick relayed in this Book which require additional Implements such as Oaths for Initiation Rites, Black Cord in Binding Workings etc but these shall be explained in additional Notes preceding any Rites or Arts that they are to be used in.
The one other item which should be ready upon the Altar is a Parchment or Clay bearing The Seal Of The Sigil Of Nine, this is a unified Sigil forged upon the Magickal Kamea of Saturn formed from the Names of the Nine Demons of the Ruling Echelong of Hell.
This Seal acts as a Key to activate The Satanic Pentacle which in turn activates the Ritual Sanctum.
Items utilized within the Ritual Working area that are not Instruments of The Satanic Altar should always be used ONLY within the Working Sanctum … this includes Ritual Vestments, Pens or any Tools of Inscribing, Jewelry or Demonic depictions.
Vestments (which are traditionally either Black or Red Hooded Ritual Robes) would only be used in these circumstances, but for those who practice wearing ordinary Black clothes should make sure those clothes are never worn anywhere other than the Ritual Working area.
Jewelry is the same, many Satanists wear Pendants and/or Rings in Ritual such as Inverted Pentagrams, Inverted Crossess, the Cross of Sulfur and so on, these too should be kept for Ritual use only.
Any room may be used for the Practice of Satanic Workings … if it can be the same room each time it is better as that room builds up a Magickal Infernal Aura built from the Rites continued there, this is not mandatory however as it is the Altar itself and particularly The Satanic Pentacle which gestate the Working area.
If different rooms are to be employed as the Working Ritual area then some form of chest may be most useful as the Altar so that it can be carried to whatever room is being utilized.
If the same room is always to be used then a sideboard, cupboard, table (or the chest) could be used as the Altar, if the Ritual Implements can be stored within the Altar when not in use this is an excellent way to charge the Altar with power constantly.
If this is not possible the Ritual Instruments must at least be kept together when not in use in a small chest or box of some kind.

The dead were judged according to their deeds. I saw a new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
I, John, saw an angel come down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the abyss and a heavy chain. He seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, which is the Devil or Satan, and tied it up for a thousand years and threw it into the abyss, which he locked over it and sealed, so that it could no longer lead the nations astray until the thousand years are completed. After this, it is to be released for a short time.
Then I saw thrones; those who sat on them were entrusted with judgment. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image nor had accepted its mark on their foreheads or hands. They came to life and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Next I saw a large white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his presence and there was no place for them. I saw the dead, the great and the lowly, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book of life. The dead were judged according to their deeds, by what was written in the scrolls. The sea gave up its dead; then Death and Hades gave up their dead. All the dead were judged according to their deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the pool of fire. (This pool of fire is the second death.) Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the pool of fire.
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I also saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
