I had my first performance today! Actually I... couldn't participate in many of the practices, so I did the first performance while feeling quite burdened. I think I was at the level of not getting too much wrong. Even so... I did my best! I'll be repaying you all with better performances in the future, so please wait a little bit  I'll try even harder, really hard, to show you all a good appearance often. It was very fun today and I'm so thankful.  Let's meet often in the future too! Bye~

don’t agree with the take that heaven sent is about ‘grief in general in the doctor’s life’ or ‘about the ponds’. like sure he’s sick of death, sick of losing people. he’s always been! but heaven sent isn’t the result of an addition of loss - that’s not what the text says. heaven sent / hell bent is a reflection of his relationship with clara : ‘and still you won’t be there’ / ‘look how far I went for fear of losing you.’ this is what they do! companions who push each other to extremes! and that doesn’t mean he loves clara more. it means that they bring out of each other a desperate need, a codependent and reckless ‘after me the flood’ attitude. the doctor loved rose so much that he grieved to destroy a sun for her - because she was so akin to life in his mind that destroying something in her name must have felt deeply wrong. with clara, it’s different. he kills and threatens and shouts - because this relationship is about control and supply. they need each other. it’s raw and painful and arrogant. if it had been just about him and his relationship to loss, there would have been no memory erasure of clara. if it had been just about him and his relationship to loss, clara wouldn’t have cried upon hearing about how long he spent in the dial. but this is them. 4,5 billions years of torture to get leverage. this is them. billions of echoes exploding all over a time stream forever. and heaven sent is the finish line, brilliant exploration of that dynamic.
