GOT THE JOB!

AND I'M BACK NOW!

I'll be an Environment Concept artist again. And this is a test task I've done between three job interviews for this new company x) It wasn't easy, but it was worth the efforts. So I made it... in about 8 days. An industrial harbour town from 19th century set in Russian Empire. Oof, it took lots of research in a very small amount of time. It's done in 3d with Blender and then in Photoshop.

And now I have time to rest before starting going to a new job since December x') I was so burn out for these 27 days run of the whole process I feel creative again only now x')

Now back to comic! FINALLY, GOSH!

There is something truly fascinating about giant artificial structures for me... I don`t know, creating something that looks unreasonably big and unknown in it`s purpose is a great stress relief for me, like it gives a sense of dedicating my insignificant life and time to something much bigger then anything I could ever become myself...or I just a form of hyper compensation for me 🤪 I really hope Sigmund Freud has nothing to say about this fascination with the giant structures that I have... because you know... for example being stuck in the oral phase or something like that is the mildest thing of the list of things he could actually say to a person... but something tells me fascination with the giant objects and structures would be a much worse news for me according to Freud 😂😂😂

environment concept I made a while ago

My latest piece for Stratus, my setting that takes place on a gas giant. I lost two days on this piece to PSD corruption, so did an all-nighter to finish it up.

❄️ Winter Sonata ☁️ Here’s my new little winter piece as we phase out of fall! I really enjoyed painting the ice sheet section and actually discovered a new method of painting clouds that I really like!

Couple of the interior concept arts I've done for work. I'm working on dark fantsy\middlepunk RPG project called Distortion, it's supposed to be released in the early access somewhere in 2025.  g-a-p.games/ The smithy was especially fun one to make as it required to do a deepdive into Medieval forgery in a very short term. Now I know stuff about wire drawing, different types of hammers and anvils, carpenter tools, chainmail creation and many more x)
