This time I'm too busy to fill all the prompts properly, so I will do just some random sketches!

I just realized I might as well link this here too. Wrote this for positivity week and finally finished the last prompt a little bit ago!

Once again, I just want to post finished art but the slow passage of time keeping event weeks from me is keeping me from doing so.

Of course, I just have to wait until tomorrow to post my drawing for Tokka Week and I am only being a touch dramatic

Finally time for me to post this beautiful piece:D I drew it a weeks ago, but I wasn’t able to finish it because my drawing app hasn’t worked properly at that time:P

When I saw the prompts I decided to spare it for today and finally added the background^^

I put a lot of effort into their prom outfits especially Entraptas and I think it turned out sooo beautiful:3 I like thinking of her in a suit for prom but I wanted to create sth more special:3

Moreover I thought of a prom event taking place at Brightmoon. Maybe to celebrate the victory over Horde Prime?? As anyways I hope you enjoy!!

entradak positivity... month? the fucks going on in the she-ra fandom?

ive responded to an ask like this one (probably from yourself?) when i was in my very first month of shera fandom back in 2021, where i said it was "a bit weird to make these events for m/f pairings", and i ended up being called biphobic on a youtube video. i am bisexual. so i am really apprehensive about responding to this ask especially as this is now my 1st rank fandom.

anyway let people do what they want. we got over the whole "ship week gatekeeping" thing several years ago. i have ptsd from dealing with vrisrezi fans' massive hatred of davekat in homestuck fandom and their (our?) dismissal of anything davekat related, including davekat week. so i find that a lot of people hate it when male characters in general get this attention. whether it's gay or straight doesn't seem to matter to these people.

there is also legit a lot of biphobia in shera fandom, not just aimed at entrapdak but also aimed at glimbow.

the worst case scenario: oh no! people are drawing more of a good pairing from the show. how tragic

Two weeks early for the Entrapdak positivity month by @maireadralph, however here's an entry for "Activity". Hordak has discovered a new forte in ice sculpting!

@breakfateschain I think there's this rather painful contrast between Catra, whose recent past has been pretty much just non-stop pain, seeing Hordak, whose recent past has been - barring losing Entrapta - rather positive, have all that taken away so painfully. And now she's thinking "Oh crap, no-one should have to lose their memory like that".

@bike-gremlin That is my niche as a writer! And I bring the best of it to Sweary She-Ra.

@maze-zen I like to be painful to all! At least the Entrapdak fans get a little bit of a break from it... for now...

@sonofrose I am indeed evil. I didn't have to do that, but I did it anyway.

It's intentional to a point. Before writing this story arc, I did a little research on experiences of conversion therapy and the tactics that are used to entice people in, and most of the stories I found were centred around religion. To be clear, it's not going to be a fully accurate representation of this (I couldn't do that authentically), but I hope the slight amount of truth in it will make it all that more unsettling.

Again, I mentioned last week that it's not intended to specifically represent Christianity (although the fact that the original did to a point means that comes through here too), but I do have experience of how mentally ill folk can try and seek solace in religion. I don't think it's always a bad thing, faith can provide some comfort, but it's largely a topic I'm not that knowledgeable in.

Sorry for answering so late, I didn’t see this.

It’s mostly been hosted in October, as far as I can remember, but the most recent one wasn’t confined to a certain month so that it could include Entrapta and Hordak’s birthdays! Most of them—alongside many other events—have been hosted by @maireadralph (special thanks to her for keeping the fandom thriving)

I’m assuming the next one will be similar to 2023’s, or in October like the last couple times, but I’m not actually sure. Here were some of the old ones I could find!

And @solcaeruleus hosted a positivity week in 2022, but I’m not sure if this will be/has been a recurring thing.

I start my ten day vacation next week. On the day that Entrapdak Positivity Month starts.

uh, no need to get so defensive. ive just never seen a ship positivity month like. anywhere. normally it's just a week and just normal shipping. so positivity month is. huh

Ah, okay. Apologies for the defensiveness. For a LONG-ASS time, Entrapdak-shippers were on the defensive because other people in the Spop fandom were big on telling us we were bad people for shipping the ship - that we were "colonizer apologists" or "abuse apologists" or were into thinking that poor widdle Entrapta was being corrupted by big meanie Hordak (instead of, you know, the other way around! Or you know, mutual mad scientist ship). Or just because it was M/F in She-Ra's Lesbian-World-for-Lesibans-Only (or apparently so - a lot of people on the outside think it's cishet, when most actual shippers see it as bi, demi-ace spectrum or Hordak as generally very trans-coded). But... for a while, there was a great nonsensical war between the Catradora shippers and the Entrapdak shippers, even though the ships have nothing to do with each other and many people enjoy both. Also, EVERYONE was insane in 2020-2021 for the non-fandom Big Obvious Reason. It was kind of like the Reylo situation with Star Wars (from what I guess viewing from afar as only being a casual movie-watcher and not being in that fandom). The "How dare you ship the cute lady with "ugly" big bad?" and, understandably, there was backlash and Entrapdakers, in general, became an incredibly defensive species. I'm not active in the fandom anymore, and it looks like I *still* have that bit of defensiveness. And I'm sorry. It's a very ingrained knee-jerk reaction. (I've been called an "abuse apologist" and accused of defending abusers in real life by people who know nothing about me based on this dumb cartoon ship). Spop is full of fandom-trauma.

Sleeping In

I love the idea of Entrapta as big spoon (or more realistically ‘backpack’, given the size difference). Just… giving Hordak that feeling of being sheltered and warm. Not that there’s anything wrong with Hordak as big spoon! I think they would alternate 💜

Game Night

Don’t ask me why my first thought was Jenga xD I have no clue, it’s just what I went with… My only regret is not planning the composition right and Emily getting obstructed by Entrapta’s hair.

I have a feeling after the game, Imp and Entrapta build all sorts of structures with the pieces.
