First Date
It was Saturday, and Gladstone was getting ready for his date with Emilie. He had chosen a small coffee shop due to not wanting to put too much pressure on Emilie.If it was too extravagant,then she might think he was trying to pressure her into a relationship with him.Of course,if Gladstone chose something too casual then Emilie might think he was cheap.
Gladstone left his house when he deemed himself acceptable.While heading towards Emilie’s house Gladstone was wondering what Emilie was going to wear.And thanks to his luck,Gladstone found out rather quickly.
Emilie was wearing what could be described as ‘chic’.A blue business jacket over a lighter blue shirt that matched her heels, and a gray skirt.
“Pretty formal for a lunch date, and fun at the pier afterwards,don’t you think?”Gladstone asked Emilie.
“This from the guy who’s wearing a suit.”Emilie pointed out.
Gladstone looked at his own outfit, and realized that Emilie was right.He was in no position to criticize her choice of clothing when he was wearing a suit.
“So,shall we get going?”asked Emilie,holding out her hand for Gladstone to grab.
“Sure.”said Gladstone,grabbing Emilie’s hand.
Even though it was the second time that they interacted with each other,Gladstone was amazed by Emilie.It was like she wanted to be in charge, but at the same time,didn’t.Gladstone could honestly say he never met a girl like her.
“So, what do you do for a living?”Gladstone asked finally.Emilie didn’t seem like the type of person who wouldn’t work.
“I’m a child psychiatrist.What about you?”responded Emilie.
“I-rely on my luck to provide for me.”
“Ah.”
Emilie didn’t seem impressed by this.
“So,what does a child psychiatrist do?”asked Gladstone in an attempt to make conversation.
“Pretty much help kids with their emotional,and mental problems.”said Emilie.
“How do you do that?”
“By playing games with them,and talking to them.”
“How does playing games with the kids help them?”
“It helps them open up.”
“Interesting.”said Gladstone. “Hey we’re here!”
It was called Ducktales, and one of the fancier coffee shops in Duckburg.
“Never been here before.”said Emilie as they entered the coffee shop.
“Really?”said Gladstone.
“Yeah.”
The moment they entered Gladstone was declared the 100th customer of the day.While Gladstone didn’t have a problem with this, he couldn’t help but notice that Emilie did.It wasn’t until they sat down with their orders when Gladstone found out why.
“Emilie,is something wrong?”asked Gladstone.
“Yeah.You got everything for free.It doesn’t make sense.How do they know that you’re the 100th customer of the day?Do they count each customer until they reach 100?Do they have something that counts each customer?”said Emilie.
“Emilie,don’t overthink it. I was born with my luck.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah. I’m lucky in practically everything.”
Emilie looked at Gladstone in a suspicious way which made him wonder if she thought he was bragging.
“I’m not bragging.It’s just true.”said Gladstone,hoping to save face.
“Well,let’s see how lucky you are.”said Emilie at long last.
“Interesting.What do you have in mind?”said Gladstone.

“The games at the pier!”said Emilie when they arrived at the pier.
“Well, I did say that we were going to spend some time at the pier.So,why not play some games while we’re here?”said Gladstone.
He didn’t know whether or not he should be amused by Emilie’s challenge.After all, she wasn’t the first person to challenge his luck.But he also didn’t know how she’d react when she saw that he was right.
Gladstone won every game,although Emilie did come close a few times.Everything was going wonderfully.
Until Annebelle showed.
“Hey Emilie!Is this the guy you gave your number to?”said Annebelle when she approached.
“Yes.Now leave.”said Emilie.
“Oooo.He’s cute.Are you rich?”Annebelle asked Gladstone.
“I thought Emilie told you to leave.”Gladstone told Annebelle.
“I have nowhere to go.”
“I’ll be back.”said Emilie as she went to a food stand.
“Where’s she going?”asked Gladstone.
“I don’t know.But we’re alone now.”said Annebelle, getting closer to Gladstone.
“Please stop.”said Gladstone, moving away from Annebelle.
Just then Emilie appeared with a drink in her hand,which she poured onto her sister.
“Now you have somewhere to go!”Emilie yelled after Annebelle as she ran off screaming.
Gladstone couldn’t help but laugh. The fact that he saw what kind of person Annebelle really is the night he met Emilie meant that he knew better than to trust Annebelle.
“So, what now?”asked Emilie.
“I can win you a prize.”said Gladstone.
“Only if I can win you one too.”
“If you insist.”
The rest of the day went smoothly without any interruptions from anybody else. And as they both told each other,Emilie,and Gladstone got each other a prize.Gladstone got Emilie a plush animal of undetermined species while Emilie won him a leprechaun figurine.It wasn’t much, but Gladstone still appreciated it.
“So,you want to do this again sometime?”Gladstone asked Emilie when they were leaving the pier, and heading back to their respective homes.
“Sure.Maybe on Tuesday.”said Emilie.
“Why Tuesday?”
“Because Tuesdays are awesome.”
“Okay then.”said Gladstone with a smile as they went their separate ways.

[ G ] EMSTONE INFLUENCES : AURAS & HALLUCINATIONS .
When the gemstone embedded into Caitlyn's collarbone, she was granted the gift of empathy, activated through the magic of her bloodline, and the gemstone connected to one of Caitlyn's most dominant traits which was her compassion.
Caitlyn has the ability not just to feel emotions, but often she can see colors and auras around people that greatly exemplify their emotions. She can learn and recognize colors and has since connected them with certain emotions or traits that match them, a heightened perception to understanding it. The gemstone uses this as a method of speaking to Caitlyn without actually using words yet the gemstone can speak with vivid displays of colors. She can also detect subtle shifts in colors, recognizing whether someone has multiple emotions going on or if it's something that cannot be explained through emotions. Not only can she see emotions, but colors and movements can display differently based on mental health, race (such as vastaya or void creatures or spirits), and other things.
Examples of colors and their emotions are like red for anger, purple for aggressiveness, red for love, and black for hate. there are multiple colors, different shades, and shifts. Auras can also shift and swirl if someone is having a psychotic break or if they are in a rabid frenzied state the colors ripple rapidly. It has taken years for Caitlyn to learn how the gemstone speaks to her, how it will warn her if danger is imminent (the colors become more present like a smoke trail), and how it shows her more about a person in an attempt to protect Caitlyn. The Magic talks to her but not in the way that people would understand. Caitlyn has learned this vivid visual language.
These colors aren't always present either, it's like seeing through a 'second lense' or putting on a set of glasses. She attaches to the gemstone and it will allow her to see things but she can easily turn it on and off like a lightbulb. However, in high-stress situations or imminent danger, the gemstone will force the colors to be visual. The colors aren't blinding, she can still see the world and color, but it's like a lightbulb. You have the light with the glow around it.
Lastly, is Caitlyn's hallucinations. These hallucinations are crafted by the gemstone, due to her vivid ability to see colors and shapes and her vastaya bloodline which the best sense is sight: in a means to help protect and encourage Caitlyn, her hallucinations often start as swirls of colors a color associated with the person. Two hallucinations typically only happen in heightened stressful situations and when she is in severe pain or a place of helplessness and fear.
Vi's Hallucination's color comes in an array of red and purple and is intensively bright. These colors are associated with Vi's aggressive nature but also the love between the two. When the hallucination is near, Caitlyn not only vividly sees her but she can also feel Vi's touches and her voice. Vi is the only hallucination of Caitlyn's that she can actually feel her touches as if she is right there. The aura around Vi isn't just bright but comes off like strips around her.
The other hallucination of Caitlyn's is Grayson. She typically comes in with a view of silver and gold swirling together, due to her sadness that revolves around Grayson with her death but also the spiritual connection to Grayson's soul. Caitlyn will see Grayson but not clearly as she can Vi, due to the length of time Grayson has been gone. Grayson's voice is more prominent, someone she can hear for encouragement. Grayson's aura comes off like smoke, often making her blurry and hard to see.

Ducktales Incorrect Quotes (backgroundshipper request!)
(A small request I made for @backgroundshipper with my OC Casey Duck playing matchmaker for her pairing of Emstone)
Casey: "Hey Em, can you check the pantry? I need some ingredients for for the pancakes."
Emilie: "Sure Casey, I'm glad you're cooking breakfast...
However, the moment Emilie opens the pantry door, she fells through a portal that Casey had made earlier and was caught by a passing by Gladstone who was in the hallway. Poor Emilie's face lit up like a Christmas tree when she was caught by her crush, said crush who's blushing at holding her.*
Casey peaks his head through the door and portal, having a shit eating grin on his face when he saw Emilie in Gladstone's arms.
Casey: "You two love birds can thank me later."
With a chuckled the Mage of Fire closes the portal, leaving Gladstone and Emilie there. Emilie growls at what the Mage did.
Emilie: *thinking to herself.* "I am going to kick that fucking shortie in the balls when I come back in there."
Gladstone, while he was a bit flustered and embarrassed about having his crush in his arms like a bride, he also couldn't help but smile happily at the unexpected moment that his cousin in law did for him.
Gladstone: *thinking to himself.* "Cass, you are single handling the best matchmaker ever!"
