The leaks have confirmed that Joe Alwyn NEVER cheated.
For the people who have been accusing Joe of cheating and using that as justification to harass his co-workers - Emma Laird and Alison Oliver - what have you got to say now?
In 1947, Detective Hercule Poirot attends a séance in a Venetian palazzo. But when one of the guests is murdered, he takes on the case, only to find that there might be something beyond his own comprehension.
The economy is shit, and going to the cinema is my one last luxury in life, so the fact that this was good made me so, so happy.
Kenneth Branagh always makes me feel slightly uneasy because of how well he played Mr. Neville/Devil in Rabbit Proof Fence, but I think it’s safe to say he has successfully re-written himself in my mind as Poirot ✨
I am still relatively new to watching films for Directors, and it’s wild looking through his work, realising how much I’ve actually seen, and how much I’ve missed.
His 2015 Cinderella helped piece my heart back together at 21, along with Sonam Kapoor’s (Shashanka Ghosh’s) Khoobsurat, but that’s a whole other thing.
Anyway, if you can, go watch - it’s exactly what you want it to be.
Or, wait until it’s on streaming and watch with friends because it’s goood. It’s exactly what you want it to be.
AVY KAUFMAN (legendary Hollywood casting director) on the DEADLINE panel for The Crowded Room –
"Actors needed to keep up with Tom, you know? They all had a responsability to act opposite Tom and do a great job. Every scene has to go back to the respect for Akiva and how important the story is for the world, for every human being. For whatever you go through, we all have our up's and down's and this is a very important script. So all the actors had to keep up with Tom. Whether it be Amanda [Seyfried] or Lior [Raz]. A lot of the friends in the beginning are first time actors, because they were all simple, they were enjoying life. But then you get the heaviness of it, and then you need stronger actors to present. You need to follow the rhythm to who can bring out those words and keep up with Tom, and express these situations - as heavy as they were."
