While working on this piece I had a lot of thoughts regarding the fashion choices in Elden Ring. I didn't cover everything that came to mind, but I had a lot of fun putting my analysis in written form. Have a read if you'd like!

Don't know who needs to know this, but...

The Zamor Legwraps give B body type characters a slight but noticeable bulge.

Which definitely bumps the Zamor Knights up a few places on my list of random side characters to headcanon about.

Also it's hard to tell but I'm like 90% sure the pants on the Drake Knight Greaves have the same effect.

Cult Lord Bardier:

A Lord mostly of his own and with only a handful of proclaimed followers, his only goal is to figure a way to fuse every material in the Lands Between. When tempted by Shabriri, offering a flame that would return all to The One Great, it gave Bardier pause as he would've just walked past, heeding no mind.

Rather, instead, he abruptly turned, plunged his lance into the ice and-- using it as a makeshift pole to keep his balance-- got himself into an awkward sort of lean-squat, to try and peer at the eerily familiar man who'd covered his face beneath his hands, assisted in part by his large metal hat. As his head pitched about to get a good angle, he caught a glint of Shabriri's smoldering eyes. Shabriri, shifting about, evidently in vain to keep his eyes concealed, eventually conceded to the perceived oddity and turned his back to him.

Bardier pulled himself up and forward by his lance, bending it slightly from the bluntly inefficient way he propped himself into standing. He punched his wrist a few times and a hissing came from his fingertips. Upon scraping the hissing fingers across his chin, flicking them past the mandibles of his helm, they burst into what could only be called an impressively controlled inferno.

Shabriri's back turned, Bardier turned his back to Shabriri's;

"Do i know you?" He posited earnestly, but perhaps too quietly while wafting jets of flame over his lance. He only acknowledged his speaking volume as he slowly paced off--

"Anyroad, I do not think we travel toward similar ends. I will figure it out on my own."

He walked off and did anything but acknowledge Shabriri from then, who had turned once more, projecting just loud enough for the near-exeunt Bardier to have heard, that is if he was attending to the matter any longer..

"Be on your way, then. Perhaps we will meet again, if fate permits."

Shout out to this bling post on reddit for drawing my attention to how Malenia's grieves look almost black in snowy area lighting. Now of course it's not a new phenomenon that lighting can drastically change everything, starting from texture to colors to mood. Still, I wanted to show it because I find it interesting.
