Mustafa Waziri explique les détails du projet de restauration des tours de la citadelle de Salah al-Din.

Le ministère du Tourisme et des Antiquités a annoncé l'ouverture des tours Ramla et Al-Haddad dans la citadelle Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi demain, dimanche 18 février, après l'achèvement de leur restauration.

Al-Barji Ahmed Issa, Ministre du Tourisme et des Antiquités, doit inaugurer la cérémonie en présence du Dr Mustafa Waziri, Secrétaire général du Conseil suprême des Antiquités, et d'un grand nombre de dirigeants du Ministère et du Conseil Suprême des Antiquités, au milieu d'une couverture médiatique locale et internationale. Le projet de restauration des tours du château et de développement des environs s'inscrit dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre de l'un des axes de la stratégie nationale de développement du tourisme en Égypte lancée par le ministère du Tourisme et des Antiquités, qui améliore l'expérience touristique.

Le Dr Mustafa Waziri, Secrétaire général du Conseil suprême des Antiquités, a exprimé sa confiance dans le fait que l'ouverture de ces sites archéologiques dans la citadelle contribuera à promouvoir le Caire en tant que destination touristique indépendante. Le Dr Mustafa Waziri a conclu que ces projets soulignent l'engagement du ministère, représenté par le Conseil suprême des Antiquités, à préserver le patrimoine archéologique égyptien. L'ouverture de nouveaux sites au sein de la citadelle et le développement des services aux visiteurs contribuent au plan du ministère visant à promouvoir l'offre culturelle du Caire. La création du Centre culturel Al-Kubra consolide davantage la position du Caire en tant que destination touristique unique, permettant aux visiteurs de s'immerger dans le charme et la diversité de l'histoire de la ville, englobant les antiquités égyptiennes, Juives, Coptes et Excursions d'une demi-journée au Caire islamique.
