Ever since things had quieted down with the Chess pieces defeat, the power vacuum had been tiring- new villains cropping up to prove themselves, some even with similar powers to graph others' powers to each other.

Thankfully not as morbid as the original villains, no limbs and body horror, just extra abilities, and with the U.S.A being so big, alot of the top heroes were spread thin, leaving the current gen heroes to fend for Portland, and themselves.

"GUH! Damnit!" Desmond was the only hero standing among fellow heroes who were fighting off a villain summoner who made a giant hermit crab like creature. "Not yet...it's not over yet!" Desmond wouldn't fall, these people and heroes were depending on him!

"Careful hero, I don't know the meaning of stop- this next move might be your last if you don't defend those other heroes." The villainess spoke as she rode the crab.

She was right, if Desmond did anything to attack her, he'd leave these heroes defenseless. As she charged Desmond defended them. "Damnit" He could really use a hand here!

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh! Is it you?! Are you /the/ Nekki Basara?! I'm such a big fan! All of your songs are so... RADICAL! Whenever I hear your singing it feels like my heart is going to burst out of my chest! It feels like... love! Passion! Heartthrob! Fire!! Bomber!!"

He's seriously off his guard – the rock star nearly trips up in the face of the cheerful raving of the woman in front of him. Where'd she even come from?! Must've swooped in when he wasn't looking... what is she, a bird of prey?

"Wha–oh... thanks?" His response is... severely underpowered, compared to hers. He almost fails to get a word in, even, struggling to find a moment to speak through all her fanatics. His brain needs to catch up to him a second before he can muster a response even half as energetic.

"You've been to our concerts, then?" He's never been all that good at fan meets – it's much easier to let his music to do the talking. Still, something about her overbearing excitement is a little infectious. "Dunno how much of it all you've listened to... but if you keep coming, you'll hear a lot more where that came from!"

you will do everything and anything to not think about the past days. how many you're trying to forget, it doesn't matter, but you will do anything, everything, all the things you can in order to not have to focus on the fact that you made a mistake. the world is full of life and vibrancy, and you don't want to be that dark spot in it that you believe yourself to be. so you fight it with everything you've got, pushing away people in fear of them making you darker, fighting those who oppress you without questioning their motives. fearful. regretful. uncertain. you dance to a tune only you hear in this world, and you know it's going to kill you one day. you hope it's soon.

Car- Daisy, his beloved car he uses to travel around his home, is obsessed with tuning it up, fixing it and maintaining it; loves her dearly.

𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐆𝐄:

Tail- His tail shows all of his emotions, when he's sad it lulls and moves slowly, when he's happy it wags and swishes when he relaxes or raises in curiosity and confusion.

Consistent movement; Des has a hard time staying still, he articulates his movements with each motion of his body, even simple greetings met with strong expressive moments.

Playing with his earing- absentmindedly if he's absorbed in something he'll flick and play with them or if flustered as well, but it be more tender and playful if infatuated.
