In Friuli-Venezia Giulia si studia il futuro delle costruzioni.

In una terra di confine tra l’asprezza delle montagne che scendono al mare attraversando una cortina di colline dolci e profumate, in un territorio che da sempre fa della contaminazione tra diverse culture una delle sue peculiarità esiste, anche se raro, un esempio di dialogo tra mondo delle costruzioni e mondo della ricerca.

Vorrei parlarvi di una collaborazione tra ANCE Friuli-Venezia Giulia e l’Area Science Park di Trieste che ha dato vita ad un laboratorio di ricerca sul tema dell’edilizia in un orizzonte temporale proiettato nei prossimi 20 anni. LiCoF – Laboratorio dell’immaginazione delle Costruzioni future – unisce in sé tradizione e visione verso un futuro prossimo che bisogna essere pronti ad affrontare: un termine che in triestino significa l’usanza di celebrare la copertura del tetto di un edificio con un brindisi con tutti gli attori del cantiere.

Da questo connubio tra tradizione e innovazione nasce un esperimento di ricerca e di analisi che per la prima volta applica i metodi della previsione sociale e dei sistemi anticipanti al settore delle costruzioni per indagare quali possano essere gli impatti della digital age sui possibili futuri modelli di business.

Le domande da cui tutti gli stakeholder coinvolti nel progetto sono partiti sono semplici e complesse al tempo stesso. Quale sarà il ruolo delle case nel futuro? Quale sarà il ruolo delle città? E soprattutto, la sfida dell’innovazione verrà interpretata come una minaccia o un’opportunità? Una volta provato a dare risposte a questi interrogativi nasce spontaneo il quesito su come i veri protagonisti della catena del valore nel settore delle costruzioni dovranno adattare i propri modelli di business per dare una risposta in grado di soddisfare questa domanda.

L’urgenza di disegnare scenari in grado di anticipare il futuro è in parte dovuto al fatto che il settore delle costruzioni e del real estate nel loro complesso negli ultimi anni hanno fatto proprio l’assunto che è necessario pensare un prodotto immobiliare che andrà, nella migliore delle ipotesi, a soddisfare una domanda in un futuro prossimo di circa 5 anni.

Il lavoro di analisi, che ha combinato interviste qualitative e metodi scientifici di scenario planning, ha fornito un’indicazione su quelli che saranno i fattori importanti ma con carattere incerto (driver) e gli elementi per i quali si ha una ragionevole certezza e che diamo per assunti già ora per il futuro (given).

Il driver scelto è quello della sostenibilità intesa nel suo più ampio raggio: ambientale, economica, sociale e umana. Per i given, invece, è stata stilata una lista di dieci fattori che già oggi rappresentano un elemento di preoccupazione che spaziano dalla tematica demografica alla considerevole manutenzione richiesta dal nostro patrimonio immobiliare passando, tra l’latro, per la preoccupante carenza di manodopera e di competenze per finire con la scarsità delle materie prime rispetto alla domanda.

Da questa analisi sono usciti quattro scenari differenti: il primo definito della “casa bunker” è quello che vede nelle case un rifugio dal caos di una città percepita come disordinata e pericolosa. In questo scenario, il settore delle costruzioni incontrerà le difficoltà che nel corso degli ultimi anni ne hanno rallentato, almeno nella generalità dei casi, il progresso e la crescita. Il secondo scenario, quello della casa nido, vedrà una scarsa attenzione alla sostenibilità sociale ed ambientale e l’innovazione tecnologica costituirà un vantaggio per le imprese di costruzioni ma non si tradurrà in un effettivo beneficio per il prodotto immobiliare. Nel terzo scenario, quello della casa bicicletta, l’attenzione dell’attenzione ai cambiamenti climatici darà vita a prodotti immobiliari come macchine perfette. Infine, nel quarto scenario, quello della casa “shuttle” modelli di business disruptive consentiranno al settore nel suo complesso di essere protagonista dell’economia circolare e la casa sarà sempre più vitale, intelligente e incentrata sulla persona e sulle sue necessità.

È proprio quest’ultimo lo scenario che alcuni attori del settore delle costruzioni e del real estate stanno cercando di interpretare e mettere a terra con progetti ambiziosi e sfidanti che coniugano tradizione e innovazione.

La sintesi di questo stimolante lavoro di analisi, di ricerca e di collaborazione è nelle parole del direttore di Ance Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Fabio Millevoi che ha voluto così sintetizzare i risultati di questa ricerca.

“Come ha detto il famoso scrittore di fantascienza William Gibson, il futuro è già qui, solo che non è distribuito in modo uniforme. E i segnali di futuro sono tutt’intorno a noi, possono essere fatti strani, ai margini della nostra quotidianità, possono essere una tecnologia come un prodotto ma chiediamoci sempre perché hanno attirato la nostra attenzione e, soprattutto, non dobbiamo cadere nell'errore di fermarci alle onde, a ciò che si vede in superficie ma cercare di capire le maree, le forze più profonde sotto le onde.

Comunque non sappiamo, in questo momento, quale dei quattro scenari risulterà vincente. Dobbiamo, monitorare la situazione: i megatrend, i given, i driver e appena avremo qualche indicazione sullo scenario/i che si stanno realizzando puntare su quello/i muovendosi, quando le circostanze lo suggeriranno, velocemente sull’asse decisionale che, in parte, abbiamo già strutturato, preparato, pianificato.”

A LiCoF e ai suoi promotori va riconosciuta quindi la capacità di guardare oltre, cercando di interpretare in modo più moderno il mondo delle costruzioni e dell’architettura con la consapevolezza che non c’è niente di più sostenibile del passato letto e riletto con gli occhiali del futuro.

Ho chiarito questo punto perché quando leggiamo negli Atti che a Roma Paolo ha avuto il permesso di affittare un piccolo alloggio non dobbiamo pensare a una di quelle case a un piano in cui aveva sempre abitato nelle medine del Mediterraneo, ma a un mono o bilocale in uno di quei casermoni di periferia che oggi conosciamo a memoria, dove si ammassano poveri e clandestini: speculazioni di profittatori che hanno risparmiato su tutto, già degradate prima di essere terminate, insalubri, con pareti sottili come carta per non sprecare spazio e scale dove la gente piscia e caca senza che nessuno pulisca. I have a lore question if you habe the time: do we know why yyxy is in Cher from Clueless cosplay?

I've spoken about this before, I can't find where I've spoke about this before, but I think it's to do with setting yyxy's time in Eden as a story that takes place in the 90s. A lot of the lore is set in the late 90s, indicated primiarly in Vivi's and yyxy's arc with fashion and technology, such as the cassette tapes, walkmans, computers, VHSs and whatnot. As mentioned in the 1/3 section of this post, I think there might be some geopolitical signifiers too, that suggest a lot of the story is set in this time period. Talking about Walkmans at all reminds me of this theory, from ChoerryColour, whose theories are focused on metanarratives and the music industry and really worth checking out.

By using one of the most iconic outfits from the 90s, right in 1995, it helps indicate when this part of the story is taking place, and what that means. If yyxy's arc occurs at the same time as Vivi's pre-robotification life (as suggested by EDILY's retro vibes) then you can more easily make connections between the two, like why Yves shows up on Earth in The Carol 2.0, why Vives go on a date in 'new', why a lot of strange things happen like they do. What message are they trying to deliver by setting it specifically in the 90s, over setting it in present day, or a nonspecific time all together?

im actually gonna take this ask in a different direction than you maybe originally meant it in so i apologize for that however i think my interpretations work best if i specifically use the loonaverse versions of the members because for 1 it just fits together a little better in my head if i connect these fictional characters to the fictionalized versions of these irl people, if that makes sense. and 2 im also just very autistic about the loonaverse. sorry

ok so despite the fact that i associate lola w that specific pic of yj, i find her more in line with yves, narratively speaking. because, well. yves is a fucking player. sneaking out to go on dates with vivi, stringing along chuu to make her partake of the fruit, recruiting her to convince gowon to do the same, fucking hyeju over, and THEN after hyeju had her little angry moment, yves just flashed her a smile and a wave to make her forgive her???? she has everyone wrapped around her finger. it’s crazy. two little baddie rulebreakers who WILL get what they want through love and/or war. love them

as for pinky, i debated on this one a bit. on one had there’s the undeniable rich girl swag of haseul. on the other, the princess-like charms of gowon were tempting. but ultimately? she’s a yeojin girl. her debut concept was so cute and quirky, but still with a distinct attitude to it that very much gives spoiled youngest and/or only child. she also has that same princess vibe, but a little more bright and youthful compared to gowon’s darker/more somber side of it. beyond debut, yeojin’s persona develops to lean more into that sassier vibe with the cuter aspects becoming more of an undertone which is very pinky to me

mandy… this one is flexible for me as well, between heejin or jinsoul. ppl usually say this about hyeju, but i actually think heej and soul have more “two sides of the same coin” qualities which kinda makes me wanna use them as a pair? like a duality if that makes sense. they’re both kinda morally ambiguous, heejin leaning more towards good and jinsoul more neutral/possibly evil, and also seem to have a lot more like. knowledge about the universe they’re in. like they’re very Aware of things and both attempt to exercise control over their surroundings a lot. jinsoul’s methods (allegedly!) are more Morally Questionable which is kinda where mandy leans, but i think the conflict between the two (as seen in not friends) can represent her change in how she views people and approaches relationships after… everything. they’re also both super gay

for beatrice i think maybe vivi? it’s mostly vibes based here. but vivi being an android is shown to be something that alienates her from her peers and makes her insecure in herself, despite the fact that she’s probably smarter and more talented than most if not all of them because of it. she still just wants to fit in and be a normal girl with friends who like her. later on, vivi’s android powers are shown to be more of an asset that can help her and her friends when they need it. i mean she literally piloted a space ship by herself for presumably several years to help them jump timelines or something. i think beatrice would appreciate that. plus, i think the edily concept can represent her more girly and romantic side. real yearner girl hours

now for zoe. hyeju. she’s hyeju. no debate really. they’re both initially characterized by their anger, having been hurt and betrayed and feeling really alone and isolated. hyeju is kinda viewed as a villain or a bad person because of her anger and craving for revenge, and while she can be volatile, at the end of the day she’s kinda just. a kid who was hurt. and yeah maybe she isn’t the “perfect victim”, she’s rude and angry and lashes out at people whether they deserve it or not. but she still didn’t deserve to be hurt the way she was. and she very much IS capable of love and forgiveness and she can eventually mend what was broken if she accepts the help offered to her. it just might take her a little extra time and some people willing to give her a chance. and also forgive some possible alleged murders but that’s not important
