now im also still thinking about tma dnd au.... mostly i agree with jonny&alex' assignments. Signing a contract to work in the Archives is really signing a pact with the Eye, so everyone there multiclasses in warlock, but only Jon really gains levels in it because of all the xp he gets by reading statements. Tim is a fighter, Sasha a 'real' wizard, Martin a bard who performs poetry instead of playing an instrument, says he studied at the College of Lore, but really he's self-taught and not even level 3 in bard.

Species though. i mostly drew Jon as a tiefling cause i wanted to give him horns but really, a tiefling would be preoccupied with whether or not he's turning into a monster. Sasha can just be human, and i think Tim is a half-elf, charismatic, easily fitting in with most crowds.

On the one hand i want Martin to be tall. but on the other. he just is a halfling. easily underestimated, typically caring, not very fast, not easily immobilized by fear, and, considering how little he gets hurt or wounded compared to tma's other characters, definitely a certain kind of lucky

Lister's football club update: after discussing with my manager - an Everton fan - he pointed out that Craig Charles is a Liverpool fan (source: he knew him in the 80s) so Lister probably would be too and so that is probably also why the London Jets play in red.

Modern AU!Rimmer wears blue all the time (easy to get dressed if all your clothes are the same colour/it's an autism thing) and pretends it's because he's a diehard Evertonian and it winds Lister up because he KNOWS Rimmer has never seen a football match in his life. Rimmer actually ends up following football just to commit to the bit and he hates every second but refuses to back down.

City watch and court mages for today, filling out some common npc niches with variants (and some variants that are changed so much they might as well be originals). More to come next week as well

some pathfinder character concepts i decided to draw out in full color; i admittedly haven't really played outside of GMing before, so whether these are optimal builds remains to be seen (and really if I had to choose one to be a first character, it's probably not the alchemist lol), but ill hold them tight to my heart until that time comes

(also ik that series of star signs is from 1e not 2e but i really like fictional astrological signs and things like that even if i dont really know or care much about their significance i think its just a neat touch)

I have since lost somehow the newer version of this piece. I honestly FAR prefer the newer version. How does a digital artist lose a piece? Likely he was careless and overwrote it.

Anyway, this was an attempt to repaint this and try to get a more dynamic crop, some foreground elements etc.

Bg1 is on sale in steam so I decided to nab it and am obviously spending work brainstorming character creation ideas. Anyway why are the classes limited by race. Why can dwarves and halflings only play three of the classes
