WHY did they shy away from this???

(like in some ways you could say that amaya was magnifico's impulse control, bc she prevented him the first time, but wasn't there the second time during his this is the thanks i get villain song, but... i think the movie was more trying to imply her being a moral centre, bc amaya remained Good and turned away from her Evil Husband)

Tuesday, 17th January 2023 - Frozen In School

Well today started off absolutely freezing, meaning that most of the paths were icy. Harvey and I walked to school slowly and carefully, making sure not to slip up on the path. When I got to school, I went and did a Spanish revision thing for learning some of the tenses, of which I desperately needed as tenses are my absolute weak spot.

Then there was the whole dramalama about the buses, as some of the roads were closed. Allegedly, one bus just took the kids the Mcdonald's in the end, and a different two just turned around and took the kids home. Most of the buses arrived, just like... an hour and a half late.

Unfortunately, the buses that arrived brought the assholes who want to terrorize the music block with them. I went and visited Alison, who was hanging out with Mattson while he was on his duty at lunch, and a bunch of boys, taller, bigger and the same age as us, came storming around like they owned the place. I tried chucking them out, but one just yelled in my face "You really think I'm going to listen to you?!" so I let one of the music teachers do so instead. It was okay in the end, just a bit scary while it happened. You never know what might happen when you've got a group of guys that could easily beat you in a fight storming towards you, and adrenaline pumped in.

We got a new seating plan in maths as well, and I'm exactly where I was sat before. Harry, Elliot and Bella got moved away though, but were replaced with a couple others I know quite well. I'm still sat next to Janek, and Andrew is nearby, with his mate Wyvern who plays on tenor one with me in Big Band on a Thursday. Wyvern's chill though, and is and overall nice guy. Most of the time, that is.

The highlight of my day had to be the daily Minns horoscope. There was one yesterday, but I forgot to put it up. I will edit it in somewhere in a second, I promise.

Just watched- and adored- Hazbin Hotel, finally, after knowing about it's existence and being too afraid of being hated on to give it a shot. And let me tell you something- it's really fucking good. Not without it's flaws but it is good. The music is A+, the animation is fluid and beautiful, the characters are interesting, the writing is snappy, funny, and when it needs to calm down and be emotionally on point it is. Can it be a little OTT? Yes. Are some of the plot points/characters a little bit 'edge Lord/angst dramalama?' Sure.

Is the quality of the singers/songs variable, with some being spectacular and others being rather meh? Yep.

Does it over-lean on profanity? Absofuckingltuly. But overall it is a really good show and I am in love with the characters, animation, and music. Can't wait for another season!
