i wanted to make an alternate more canon-compliant butterfly Howdy... similar but Different! the wings were a pain in my ass!

#tried to keep the basic vibes of the og look #incorporate the eyespots and all that #i just wanted to do this since the og look bothers me!#it was made for an au and so i leaned more towards a realistic butterfly look #this was a fun challenge!#i lied i hated it. coloring this made me want to toss my tablet in the trash #getting the wings to mesh.... Ugh....#scribble salad #yassified howdy <3 #so much fluff to contain!!!#i imagine that he got sally to tailor his shirts and stuff so his fluff could Fit #i think his apron would be blue now???#basically it and his blue striped shirt switch colors!#since he's already Very blue / cool colored #in my mind the spiral part of his wings is a little 3d and slightly Plush!#he's got some Texture to 'em!#as you all can see im a fan of gradients and Dots

#project sekai #tsukasa tenma #emu otori #nene kusanagi #rui kamishiro #wonderlands x showtime #my art #u can tell who got drawn first and who got drawn last that’s all I’m saying #based on their initial unit outfits but with many creative liberties taken #tsukasa was a pain in the ass bc his outfit is boring but I mainly focused on his gay little Diamond belt #originally his costume was darker hence the dark outlines but it didn’t read as his initial costume so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#emu got stripes bc 1 her sock 2 her dress skirt. had to include the orange and red in her hat tho lesbian dress reigns supreme #nene got polka dots bc they’re cute that’s it #& rui I just had fun with #oh their makeup is based on their world link card suits 👍🏻 does not read well w the hair but what can u do #one day I won’t draw super tiny on a canvas that is normal sized and have to do the crop of shame #but it is not today #one day I will also make a serious drawing again probably but I am lazy

A quick little rainbow flannel baby blanket!

I do have other things on my to-make list, but I’m trying my best to keep my fabric stash under control and that means actually sewing the flannel baby blankets I buy fabric for whenever flannel goes on sale and I can’t resist an adorable print (I’m down to two more left to make! Pigs and frogs, and then I think I’ll go back and finally get that strawberry flannel I’ve been wanting to get)
