Currently reading: ...the next English bookshop is quite far away, and I only have unread fanfiction in the house right now. Shocking, I know. I need to spend at least 100€ in a bookshop soon 😔

LAST SONG: I've been letting the Spotify DJ pick music for me today and it's mostly been stuff I don't know, but the last thing I listened to on purpose was Janelle Monae's new album, The Age of Pleasure. It's my album of the summer this year
CURRENTLY WATCHING: Rose and I are slowly getting through Star Trek Voyager, picked up where I had previously left off in Season 3 and are now halfway through Season 4. While working, I've been back and forth between rewatching She Ra and Shameless which I'm mainly watching bc I finished The Bear and am sad there's no season three yet
CURRENTLY READING: I unfortunately haven't actually *read* my current reads in a few weeks...so I'm still on Gideon the Ninth and Legends and Lattes. Been busy with other hobbies!
CURRENT OBSESSION: I started doing Aquafit twice a week and it's been awesome, I've been anxiously waiting for today's class! Outside of that I haven't been hyperfixated on anything really, been pretty Normal about my interests lately

LAST SONG: can’t fight this feeling by reo speedwagon because apparently i’m in an 80s rock mood lmao
CURRENTLY WATCHING: i’ve been slowly watching barry! I finished season 2 a couple of days ago. it’s absolutely sensational. partner and I have also been slowly watching the bear season 2.
CURRENTLY READING: moon witch, spider king by marlon james. I can’t believe I missed the release of this second part of the dark star trilogy (a sequel yet not a sequel). I only realised it was out when I saw it in a bookstore in washington dc! i’m still early in but god I love marlon james’ writing and I love the richness of this universe (a fantasy series based on african mythology!).
CURRENT OBSESSION: i’m in a really odd position atm of being almost between obsessions? I feel the baldur’s gate 3 brainrot looming on the horizon, but I’m trying to hold myself back so the next few weeks before release don’t feel so long. there’s also the whole... i’m gonna have a fucking baby within these next few weeks thing. i’ve been slammed with third trimester fatigue and discomfort so that’s kind of a distraction. as is all the preparation (physical, mental, work, house, etc etc) i’m trying to do. so it’s a weird place.
