He lifted his head and asked, "Would you care to meet a few of my neighbors?" "I would be delighted," she said as if they were at afternoon tea. Lucy Gray gave the spectators a a big smile, seemingly pleased to be there, but as he led her to the bars he could feel her fingers clenching his like a vise.

hi tibby has anyone asked what you think of the new saw movie coming out this year? i dont think we have many details on it right now but it seems like its going to be going back in the timeline a bit (given its got tobin bell and shawnee smith)
i talked a bit about it here a year ago, but we've gotten a little bit more information since then, which...makes me more ambivalent than ever tbh. as much as i love saw vi, kevin greutert is ALSO responsible for vii which is hands down the most misogynistic film in the franchise and i am not confident in his ability to do amanda justice. also i can't remember if these rumours were confirmed or denied but i remember there being talk of john going to mexico to seek cancer treatment which is uh. certainly a choice in terms of plotlines.
personally i think if we're revisiting the original series timeline at ALL then they should hurry up and give us a lawrence movie but that's not going to happen. also nobody understands lawrence the way adrian does and given than neither he or i (number one apprentice lawrence girlie) are involved with lionsgate they would just make a mess of it anyway. so i guess i'm here to be contradictory.
rn my overall take is that i don't think saw x will be good but i'll still probably see it on opening night and hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

How did Pinocchio caught your interest?
a vague timeline:
i knew for a couple years now that del toro and disney were putting out their pinocchio adaptions. already kinda funny but not enough to question anything
lionsgate then announced their horrid wooden freak. now im questioning things
bloodborne pinocchio game gets announced all around the same time. alright fellas im fully intrigued by this situation
fully intrigued enough to just like. listen to the audiobook of the og story. bc why not lol??? (i think i may have wanted to compare it to del toro's version or something? i dont remember anymore lol)
either during or after the book, my brother made a joke that i must take on the quest to consume all pinocchio media- to become the puppet king (my occasional title between my friends and i since im. obsessed with puppets)
i think it would be funny to actually take this joke as serious so i go and find pinocchio adaptions to watch
the same selection of friends who eventually joined in on the audiobook have also been watching them all with me. not only does this help me get through it but also my friend jenna is an epic pirate so she has taken the task of obtaining all these movies and shows and stuff
and overtime during all this i gained a larger appreciation for the disney adaption (clearly) as well as the little lad himself (the. disney version). ive cried over him dude
TL;DR: it was a joke originating from the pinocchio movies coming out this year. i would not recommend doing things as a joke
